Kat tells Mo she is on the run
Airs on Monday, September 20 2010 20:00 BST on BBC One
At the Slater household, Mo frantically searches for Zoe's birth certificate after an unexpected phone call from Kat. On finding the certificate, Mo hurries off and persuades Fatboy to lend her his ice cream van to travel to a café. Mo arrives and sits down opposite Kat, who is heavily disguised in a blonde wig. Kat explains to a stunned Mo that she is on the run from some guys who she and Alfie scammed thousands of pounds from. When Mo asks why Alfie isn't helping her escape, Kat sadly tells her that he is dead and she desperately needs a new identity.
Mo encourages Kat to come home for a few minutes and she reluctantly agrees. The house erupts when the pair arrive home, and Charlie and Stacey rally round to make Kat feel comfortable. However, Kat is horrified when Jean tells her there are two men - Lee and Jono - in the living room who are asking questions about her.
Meanwhile, it's the day of George's christening and Minty struggles to tell Heather the truth about his feelings for Sam. As a result, Heather misunderstands and thinks he is declaring his love for her, much to her delight. Later, knowing that Minty really is her best option, Sam passionately kisses him in a desperate attempt to persuade him to go to Ibiza with her and baby Richard. Sam tells him to meet her during the christening, where they can leave together. At the christening, Minty is in turmoil - which woman will he choose?
Elsewhere, Jodie tells Darren that she does not miss Vanessa, but soon relents and is overjoyed to see her at Max's house; and Max gives Darren some advice over his relationship with Jodie - telling him to give her a couple of drinks and a few practised lines if he wants to seal the deal.
Alfie Moon returns to the Square
Airs on Tuesday, September 21 2010 19:30 BST on BBC One
Billy is shocked when he comes face-to-face with Alfie Moon, who has returned to Walford. Meanwhile, at the Slater household, Kat, Mo, Jean, Charlie and Stacey frantically work out an escape route from the mystery men who are looking for Kat. Mo blocks the door to the kitchen while Kat struggles to escape through the window. Suddenly, Jono and Lee smash through the kitchen door. The thugs threaten Kat and warn her that only when the £40,000 is returned, they will return baby Lily, who they have taken from upstairs. Pandemonium ensues and as Stacey panics, Mo and Jean demand to know where their granddaughter is. With nowhere to run, Kat gives in and begins to throw handfuls of cash at the men.
Suddenly, the door crashes open and Alfie and Billy burst in flashing fake CID cards. Jono and Lee make a speedy getaway, leaving the Slaters relieved to hear baby Lily safe and well in the living room, but gobsmacked to see Alfie stood in front of them. Although pleased to see each other after six months, Kat and Alfie argue about who has suffered the most during their time apart. Alfie and Kat's argument leads Kat to explain why she told Mo that he was dead - she had meant that he was dead to her. The argument climaxes with Kat in the middle of the Square, revealing her heavily pregnant figure, before stating that the baby is not Alfie's...
Meanwhile, at George's christening, Minty is tense when he notices another missed call on his mobile from Sam, who is waiting in a cab for him. Minty suddenly deserts the ceremony, and Heather is confused when she follows him into the street and finds him kissing Sam. Minty is dumbstruck as Sam abuses Heather in front of the guests by telling her that Minty has never loved her. Sam then completely ruins her chances with Minty by declaring that "anything's better than nothing". Despite Sam's feeble attempts to convince Minty that she is in love with him, she fails and is forced to leave in a cab, distraught. Later, Minty insists to Heather that he does love her, but she tells him to leave.
Elsewhere, Vanessa decides to move back in with Harry for Jodie's sake; Phil surprises Shirley by turning up for the christening suited and booted; and Max insists that Vanessa is certain to come back to him as she can't help herself.
Alfie opens his heart to Kat
Airs on Thursday, September 23 2010 19:30 BST on BBC One
Kat is in deep thought as she sits staring at a £10,000 wad of rolled up notes on the table in front of her. On hearing the doorbell, she hides the cash as Jean goes to answer the door to Alfie. Kat tells Jean, Mo and Charlie to get rid of him.
Undeterred, Alfie sings through the letter box until Charlie gives in and eventually lets him inside. Alfie tells Kat that he has come back for her and wants them to be a proper family - what will Kat do?
Meanwhile, Shirley is disturbed to find Heather alone at Minty's, red-eyed and hugging his overalls. Shirley has some stern words with her and gives her a stuffed toy dog, which she bought from Mo to make her smile. Later, Shirley finds Phil at the Arches and asks questions about cars in an effort to spend more time with him. She admits that she is worried about him and is relieved when Phil assures her that he will be fine as long as he has her.
At the café, Glenda asks Roxy for money to buy Ronnie's baby a gift, but Roxy tells her that if she needs money, she should get a job like everyone else. Roxy points out an advert for a job at the bookies and Glenda scoffs. Later, Glenda tells Roxy she has called around the designer shops on Bond Street and she'll be snapped up soon. A frustrated Roxy gives Glenda a stuffed dog for Ronnie's baby and then drags her off to the bookies to enquire about the job.
Elsewhere, Vanessa picks up some dirty laundy that she left and Max's, and apologises to him over her decision to go back home to Harry; and Darren and Jodie prepare to take their relationship to the next level.
Glenda causes a stir at the bookies
Airs on Friday, September 24 2010 20:00 BST on BBC One
Glenda arrives for her trial day working at the bookies but immediately makes a bad impression on Carol. Glenda is clearly inspired by Patrick's story about how they used to serve alcohol in the bookies as a way of encouraging punters to place higher bets.
Carol reluctantly leaves Glenda in charge of the business when she has to run an errand for Bianca and, on her return, she is livid to find drunken customers. She's even more horrified to see Glenda coming through from the back of the shop adjusting her skirt, followed shortly after by Leon. Outraged, Carol reprimands Glenda before realising that they had in fact taken an incredible amount of money that day.
Meanwhile, Max teases Darren about his night with Jodie and he explains that her parents are coming for dinner that evening. Harry decides that the family are eating in the café, much to everyone's disappointment. There, Darren bumps into Max, who expresses his understanding that Vanessa is back with her husband. Darren is not convinced that Max is okay with the situation and persuades Stacey to visit him that evening to cheer him up.
In the launderette, Dot consoles Heather, giving her advice about finding a place to live and putting baby George first. Dot suggests a flat where Ethel used to live and Heather ultimately decides to put in an offer.

Having one woman in love with Shrekalike Minty is surprising enough. But for two single mums to be fighting over him just beggars belief.
While no George Clooney, he does have a heart of gold - and 'mug' tattooed on his forehead. For after being rejected by first Ricky and then her newborn son's real father, Jack 'hat-trick' Branning, manipulative Sam Mitchell decides Minty is the man for her.

And she disrupts little George's chaotic christening on Tuesday to stake her claim.
"Oh, Mint, will you grow yerself a pair?" she snarls in front of Heather. "I mean, 'ave a look at it. Do you love 'er?"
But after kissing both women, Minty makes a surprising final choice...
HEARTBROKEN Heather Trott is left sobbing at son George's christening - after her EastEnders lover Minty runs off with Sam Mitchell.
Minty's long-term crush, played by Danniella Westbrook, turns up in a taxi and makes a beeline for the mechanic.
They then share a passionate embrace before kissing in church in front of the whole congregation.
Heather - who only recently rekindled her romance with Minty - watches in disbelief.
But it gets worse for the poor mum, played by Cheryl Fergison, when Sam persuades him to run off with her to Ibiza.
The forthcoming scenes are actor Cliff Parisi's last - as his character Minty quits Albert Square forever.
Poor Heather :(
I wish Heather would get some luck.
