Coming up in Emmerdale, a tense atmosphere continues to linger at Home Farm after Maisie decides to depart the village, certain that Nathan is responsible for Mark's murder.

When Declan continues to support Natasha, he arouses the suspicions of Nathan - who's certain that the businessman is only using her as part of a scheme to uncover the truth.

Nathan eventually decides to tackle the matter head on, and as tempers fray, Natasha's twisted son tries to punch Declan.

However, Nathan is no match for Declan, who floors him in self-defence… :cheer: :D

These scenes air on Monday, September 13 at 7pm on ITV1.

Nathan is worried about Natasha and Declan's relationship and tells Natasha that he's using her to get information. Meanwhile, Declan confides in Nikhil that he can see a future with Natasha if he can get rid of Nathan.

Later, Nathan confronts Declan, who quickly shows him who's boss and floors Nathan when he tries to punch him.

Arriving at Home Farm, Declan tells Natasha everything he knows and asks her to come clean. When Natasha denies everything, he tells her they're finished.

Meanwhile, John is furious when he finds Adam changing the locks under Moira's instruction. However, Moira makes John see the implications and admits the Holly she knew doesn't exist anymore and she has no right to be in their house after what she's done.

Elsewhere, Carl makes advances on Eve but she refuses to succumb while under Chas's roof; Andy confesses his recent problems to Victoria; Diane and Victoria return from Spain; and Edna tells Chas about Eve's money issues.

Diane explodes at Nicola and Jimmy

Jimmy is floored when Nicola admits that she doesn't want the pub life anymore. He's incredulous at her change of heart as it's come just as he's enjoying himself. However, when she starts to get upset about missing out on Angelica and the family, he is torn.

As they tentatively approach Diane about it, she explodes and screams at them to get out. How will Diane pay off her debts now?

Meanwhile, Aaron and Jackson return from holiday and confide to Hazel that they may try to live together permanently. However, they hit a rocky patch when Jackson sabotages Aaron's attempt to sell Pearl the dodgy car.

Elsewhere, Declan shocks Natasha by asserting his authority at Home Farm and sacking Nathan; Hannah fails to tell Victoria the truth about her love life; Carl makes another pass at Eve; Charity hopes Declan will take her on as his PA; Diane makes an apology to Doug; and Abi introduces Ryan to his new cellmate Curtis.

Declan vows to stay put at Home Farm

Despite the mess at Home Farm, Declan isn't prepared to walk away from a profitable business and makes it clear to Natasha that he's in control.

Nathan and Natasha offer to buy Declan out, but Declan asserts he's not going anywhere and will stay until they're forced to sell their 49%.

Meanwhile, Doug and Leyla comfort each other at work over the state of their love lives. As they're closing up, Justin arrives to tell Leyla that it's over between him and Alicia and she knows they met in secret. Leyla's unnerved at the prospect of her raging sister on the warpath.

Elsewhere, Diane lowers the asking price for The Woolpack in the hope of tempting a new buyer; Nicola feels guilty over her change of heart; Diane and Moira spot Bob and Hazel flirting; and when Victoria offers to find a job instead of returning to college, Diane asks her to contribute rent.


Leyla's secret is revealed

Leyla panics when a furious Alicia arrives in the shop with Jacob and accuses her of wrecking her marriage in front of Pollard and Doug.

In Farrer's, Leyla protests that Alicia's marriage problems are her own doing, but Alicia cuts her deep when she asserts that their mother would hate her if she was alive.

The situation comes to a head when Leyla slaps Alicia and their hatred comes spilling out. As the sisters argue, we finally learn Leyla's secret…

Meanwhile, Aaron sees Holly in Hotten and finds out she's working in a bar. He can't believe the state she is in and confronts her about tearing her family apart, but she's defiant and refuses to listen. Adam later tells Moira where she's working, which leaves her shocked and torn about what to do.

Elsewhere, Declan offers Nathan's job to Nicola and humiliates Nathan in front of his former employees; Hannah is relieved to learn that Isaac isn't going to push her into having sex; Pearl buys the clocked car from Aaron, to the shock of Jackson and Paddy; Diane hopes to earn some more money by selling her car; and Paddy agrees to put Hazel and Jackson up indefinitely.

Moira angrily confronts Holly

Moira turns up at the bar Holly works in and is angered to see how carefree she is. Confronting her about robbing her own family, Moira fumes when she shows no shame.

Holly begs her not to cause a scene, but Moira drags her out of the bar and into her car. Holly denies stealing the ring, but Moira is enraged and tells her they are going for a drive.

Meanwhile, Paddy insists that Aaron make things right with Pearl. However, Cain isn't happy with Aaron's refund, so tells him he's charging interest for every day Aaron has the car.

Elsewhere, Carl and Eve pick up where they left off when they're left alone in the office.


Moira hands Holly over to the police
Airs on Friday, September 17 2010 19:00 BST on ITV1

Holly panics when Moira drives her to the police station and asks them to arrest her for theft. John is stunned when he realises Moira has shopped their own daughter, however the PC suggests she needs counselling rather than punishment.

Moira concedes not to press charges and PC Swirling scares Holly before releasing her. A tear-stained Holly tells her parents why she stole from them and how sorry she is, but they're shocked when she makes it clear she has no intention of coming home with them.

Meanwhile, Terry's chauffeur business is keeping him busy, however he realises a client has left a package on the back seat. He orders Rodney to find out who it belongs to, but their search turns out fruitless as they ponder what could be in the package.

Elsewhere, Adele is miffed when she notices an obvious warmth between Andy and Katie; Bob and Marlon worry about Diane's breeziness and cost-cutting at the pub, Lizzie and Bob are getting along well and enjoy a walk in the country, and Victoria gets a job at the B&B.

The twisted hunk has spent months plotting to keep his mum Natasha out of prison.

But with his half-brother Ryan Lamb in jail for a murder he did not commit the net is closing in on the mum and son.

Natasha started a relationship with Declan behind Nathan’s back as she knew he wouldn’t approve.

An insider said: “Declan knows something is going on. He’s become so close to Natasha over the last few months and thinks she is covering for her son. So he confronts Nathan and ends up punching him.

"Little does he know it is Natasha who killed her husband Mark.”

Elizabeth Estensen has revealed that she often receives letters from Emmerdale fans who want her character Diane Sugden to settle down with Doug Potts.

In recent months, viewers have seen Diane's love life thrown into turmoil after fiancé Charlie Haynes conned her out of her savings, leaving her devastated.

However, in next week's episodes, Diane finally returns to the village following a trip to Spain and starts trying to get her life back on track.

Speaking to Inside Soap about who Diane could fall for next, Estensen admitted: "The letters I get say, 'Doug is the man for you'! On my recent holiday, I was at the airport and this great big bloke came up to me and said, 'I can't believe the way you're treating Doug - he's done everything for you'."

Asked whether Diane would ever give Doug (Duncan Preston) a chance, the actress replied: "He's very decent - what you see is what you get. If she wants reliability and companionship, Doug could offer those things, even if he's not the most exciting man.

"That's often what happens in love. You think you go for a certain type, then you meet someone and stick with them for reasons you can't explain - it just works."
