I think it will all tie in with Posh Boy, Maisie, Natasha and Wills departure from the Dales over the next couple of months.

Whast the betting Ryan has a fling with the attractive blonde Prison Officer who bears more than a passing resemblance to Katie Sugden

Funny you should say that Alan I was thinking the same thing about Ryan and the Prison Officer last night when I was watching Emmerdale. Ryan should be in jail for three months. A remand period is usually 110 days.

Meanwhile, tensions are high at Home Farm as Maisie struggles to act normal. Declan supports her, but when she sees Nikhil, she breaks down in his arms and admits she thinks Ryan is innocent and Nathan is guilty.

Elsewhere, Katie is proud of Andy when he attends his first counselling session; John and Moira decide to talk to Hannah when she tells them about Isaac being her boyfriend; and Hazel convinces Viv to attend her first art class.

Maisie's hopeful when Katie shows her a blurred picture from Gennie and Jamie's party which shows Ryan wearing the chain. She confides to Katie that she thinks someone has framed Ryan.

Later, photo in hand, Maisie outright accuses Nathan of murdering Mark. Nathan is shaken and bluntly denies the accusation, but Maisie's anger boils over and she lashes out as Natasha walks in.

Maisie brusquely tells Natasha to choose between her and Nathan. Natasha is wracked with guilt as she faces losing her little girl. What will Natasha do?

Meanwhile, David is angry and hurt that Leyla doesn't feel she can trust him with her secret. He confides in Pollard that he's sure she is seeing someone else. He decides to give Leyla another chance to come clean, however when she isn't ready to reveal anything, David decides to go to Finland on his business trip to give them both some time to think.

Elsewhere, Scarlett and Eve see Holly in town but she runs off when Scarlett refuses to give her money; Hazel persuades Viv to let her give her wardrobe a revamp; Katie continues to support Andy in beating his problem; and John and Moira team up with Scarlett for a scheme to track Holly down.

Nikhil and Declan urge Maisie to stick around, but she's adamant that she needs to get as far away as possible. As she packs her bag, Nathan desperately tries to make her see he's not the killer and is hurt when he realises she's genuinely afraid of him.

Maisie goes to see Ryan and tells him she's leaving. A shocked Ryan pleads with her to stay, but she walks out, leaving him crushed and bereft of hope.

Later, Maisie is left with no choice when Natasha refuses to tell her the truth. She sternly warns Nathan he should be scared before leaving - and Natasha and Nathan are left horrified as they wonder what she might do next.

Meanwhile, Holly replies to a text from Scarlett and they arrange to meet. However, when Holly shows up, she's furious to discover Scarlett has set her up. When John tries to manhandle her back to the car, Holly runs off. Have the Bartons blown their last chance at getting Holly back?

Elsewhere, Carl and Eve enjoy a steamy romp in the truck; Viv is left reeling from her clothes clearout as Hazel encourages her to buy an all-new wardrobe; and Edna begins to suspect something's amiss with Eve's behaviour.

The Bartons are targeted by a burglar
Airs on Thursday, September 9 2010 19:00 BST on ITV1

Moira is touched when Laurel offers to take her into town to search for Holly. Laurel comforts Moira when she's left heartbroken after their fruitless search.

When they return, John is furious she didn't tell him she was going to look for their daughter. However, things take a turn for the worse when they discover they've been burgled.

Meanwhile, Faye angrily confronts Natasha about Maisie's swift exit from the village, and Declan's suspicions about her are heightened when he sees Natasha's reaction to Faye's accusations. Later, Declan urges Natasha to open up, and she claims that Maisie is unbalanced.

Elsewhere, Carl and Eve arrange a secret rendezvous in a bar in Hotten. While Eve goes on the pretence of checking out male strippers, Carl lies that he's on a haulage job. Later, when Chas discovers she's got another night alone, she decides to help Eve out with the strippers in town with Charity. Will Carl and Eve be caught in the act?

Carl and Eve are almost caught out
Airs on Thursday, September 9 2010 20:00 BST on ITV1

Eve is in the bar waiting for Carl, but is stunned when Chas and Charity surprise her. When Carl shows up, he lies he was in the area and is forced to stay and watch the stripper with the girls.

When they arrive back in the village, Carl and Eve steal a moment behind Edna's and can't keep their hands off each other. Hearing the commotion, Edna comes downstairs as Eve hurries Carl away. She composes herself as she feigns surprise at finding Edna awake. Eve's left worried and guilty when Edna insinuates she's seeing someone unsuitable.

Meanwhile, the Bartons have lost some of their most valuable and sentimental possessions, but Moira is incredulous when John tells the police Holly is a possible suspect. As Moira refuses to believe that her daughter would sink so low, John reminds her that Holly isn't the girl they raised anymore.

Elsewhere, Cain visits Ryan and tells him that he can't help him any more than he has; Rhona tells Paddy he's a great catch and is left struck by her own words; and Leyla is hurt when she realises David is ignoring her calls and frets to Gennie about her relationship.

Refusing to give up her affair with Carl, Eve leaves but is left in an awkward position when Chas insists she crash at theirs. How will Carl react to his new houseguest?

Meanwhile, Moira is still reeling at John's accusation that Holly was the one who burgled Butler's. However, when the police present them with CCTV footage of Holly trying to flog their TV, it's clear the ordeal is putting a strain on their marriage. John tries to reassure Moira that they'll get Holly back to her normal self.

From a post by you Alan :p

New Love Interest for Ryan
Here's gorgeous Abi Peterson looking ripe for a role in the spiky stuff in Emmerdale.

Emotional ... Pauline Quirke on the soap set
The blonde ex-Army girl, played by actress Catherine Tyldesley, joins the soap next month as a love interest for Ryan Lamb (James Sutton).
And if a straw poll at TV Biz is anything to go by, she'll have other Dales lads stopping in their tractors too.
Abi is not the soap's only new barn-stormer - Birds of a Feather star Pauline Quirke began filming yesterday as Jackson Walsh's mum Hazel.
Pauline told TV Biz: \"My first scene was in the village - that village is unbelievable.
\"My mum absolutely loved Emmerdale. So to get on set and actually see that Woolpack, it was actually really emotional - I had a little cry.
\"But then I pulled myself together.\"
