Big Brother's Tall Ship has spotted land. Roberto and Craig raised the alarm from the Crow's Nest and everyone rushed to the decks.
A blue flag with the Land Ahoy icon on it appeared over the wall at quarter past one today and the alarm was instantly raised. Housemates then had five minutes to get themselves to the decking; Vanessa was given an extra minute due to her injured foot.
Hanging from the rigging and giving their best pirate impressions the Shipmates called "Land Ahoy," and swashed their buckles with aplomb.
Cries of "land" and "swashbuckle" filled the air as the Shipmates saluted the flag as loudly as they possibly could.
And what a rag-taggle bunch of bloodthirsty scurvy knaves they looked! The sight of that lot heading toward you would be enough to make Captain Hook give up his day job.
After a few minutes the flag went down and the ship sailed peacefully on.
A lucky escape for all you land dwellers out there.
