Sounds interesting

Presumably this is the start of the story of Ken finding out about his long-lost son, Lawrence.

Monday 16th

A furious Peter nags the Platts for information about Lewis and has a go at Leanne for her part in failing to spot his money-making scheme.

Of course, with Nick's interest in his ex-wife rekindled, he attempts to console her.

When Peter finds them together in the pub, the two men start tearing strips off each other again. Although Nick defends both Leanne and Audrey, Peter flies at him, pushing him out of the pub and onto the street. Thankfully, Ciaran steps in to diffuse the situation.

Later, Leanne presses Natasha to tell Nick about the baby, but she's convinced he won't want to know.

While a heartbroken and humiliated Audrey hides away, Ken and Deirdre attempt to rebuild their shattered marriage.

Elsewhere, crafty Owen uses Jason to convince Bill to sell up. He then plays off Liz and Eileen as he reveals they'll be seeing a lot more of him.

And Sally forces an upset Sophie to sever all ties with girlfriend Sian.

Leanne is tired of the way Peter treats her, and while they bicker she responds to a text from Janice to meet her at the factory. However, it turns out Nick sent the text from her phone.

Annoyed at his deception, Ms Battersby goes to leave, but Nick begs her to stay and chat. She gives in, and as Tilsley insists she deserves better than Barlow he moves in for a kiss, making it clear she has other options.

Natasha is understandably stunned when she bursts in and sees their close encounter.

Elsewhere, Audrey continues to nurse her broken heart and reveals she still intends to move to Greece - on her own.

Sian pays Sophie a visit while she's working at the shop, and Sunita helps the girls keep their secret.

And while Bill agrees to a deal with Owen, Ken and Deirdre are the talk of the town as they air their grievances in public.

As the sisters rake over their troubled past, will they find any common ground?

Meanwhile, Claire's looking after Asha, Aadi and Simon, but when her mum has an accident and calls for help, she's forced to ask Sophie and Sian to mind the kids. The girls agree and Claire's relieved, but when she arrives home to find them snogging on the sofa, she's gobsmacked.

Meanwhile, Becky has taken a bolshy Kylie back to the Rovers but no-one is quite sure what to make of her. She's much the same as Becky was when she arrived on the Street, and while the Croppers are happy to give her a chance, Steve, Liz and Michelle are less welcoming - especially when she sets her sights on Ciaran!

Elsewhere, Eileen's confused by Owen's mixed signals; Emily and Norris discover an old letter behind the skirting board addressed to Ken Barlow; and Owen offers Eileen some advice on how to get her landlord to drop the price of the house.

Social services are alerted over Aadi
Airs on Friday, August 27 2010 20:30 BST on ITV1

As the Alahans pray for Aadi, they can't understand how this has happened. Claire admits she has no idea either, but keeps quiet about leaving the kids with Sophie and Sian.

Aadi comes through his operation, but is on life support. When a nurse spots a bruise on his arm, social services are alerted and Dev and Sunita are horrified as they're questioned by child protection officers.

Meanwhile, Kylie spends the evening insulting Michelle and flirting with Ciaran. Eventually Michelle snaps and throws a punch at Kylie, but it's Becky who gets caught in the crossfire. As Kylie milks it, enjoying the trouble she's causing, who will Becky side with?
