A scheming Lewis kisses Deirdre
Airs on Monday, August 9 2010 19:30 BST on ITV1
Lewis humours Audrey as she dreams about their new life in Greece, but sticking to his plan, he heads to the bookies with his pre-franked betting slip, the winning horses now written on it.
Alone with Deirdre, he flirtatiously suggests a drink. When she pops home for a corkscrew, he dives into the till, replacing yesterday's dud betting slip with his fraudulent winner.
However, when Deirdre returns to find the door locked, she demands answers. How will Lewis get out of this one?
Meanwhile, John begs Fiz to stay, telling her how much he loves her. However, his plea falls on deaf ears and she leaves for a holiday without him. With Fiz gone, he heads to Charlotte's, where he reveals Fiz has left him. As John breaks down, will he let Charlotte comfort him?
Elsewhere, Molly's struck with a piercing headache following a row with Owen; Cheryl makes it clear to Lloyd that they're just friends; and Nick hedges as Natasha insists they make a decision about renting Dev's flat.
Lewis's guilt gets the better of him
Airs on Monday, August 9 2010 20:30 BST on ITV1
Lewis apologises to Deirdre for kissing her and makes her promise that it will always be their secret.
In the pub, Deirdre struggles to compose herself, but Lewis is the consummate actor - giving no hint of what happened.
However, when Audrey reveals the £100k will be in their foreign account by Friday, Lewis's guilt suddenly gets the better of him. As he insists she mustn't sell the salon, claiming he wants her to have a safety net in case the hotel fails, what will Audrey decide?
Meanwhile, Molly's diagnosed with high blood pressure and told she needs plenty of rest from now on. As she's admitted overnight, Tyrone worries she's been doing too much and wants to call off the house move. But, desperate to get away from Kevin before the baby is born, will Molly agree?
Elsewhere, Nick accuses Natasha of being too needy, but it seems that a pregnancy test is the source of her consternation; Ches refuses to give John the time of day; and is it curtains for Lloyd and Cheryl?
Lewis continues to profit from his scams
Airs on Thursday, August 12 2010 20:30 BST on ITV1
As Audrey tells the salon staff she's decided not to sell and is installing David as manager, Lewis heads to the bookies to check on his accumulator.
Leanne's stunned to see all five came in and he's won £4k. Paying out, she knows Peter won't be happy, but will he rumble Lewis?
Later, Lewis treats Audrey to one last special night, knowing tomorrow he'll be gone…
Meanwhile, Natasha needs to talk to Nick, but he's AWOL - busy helping Leanne who's having a bad day at the bookies. At home, Gail informs Nick that Natasha's been chasing him all day, suggesting he's giving her the runaround. Nick objects, but his reaction suggests she's hit a nerve.
Elsewhere, Owen offers Bill a small job; the factory staff return to a pristine new Underworld; and Eileen makes Molly an offer - but with the health of her baby now at stake, will she accept?
Deirdre's indiscretion is exposed
Airs on Friday, August 13 2010 19:30 BST on ITV1
Lewis reveals he needs to do some last minute packing, he arranges to meet Audrey later for their farewell do. His kiss is a veiled goodbye, but Audrey is blissfully unaware.
Peter's back and is horrified to hear of Lewis's big win. But as he examines the betting slip, he realises the timing doesn't add up - Deirdre was working when he laid the bet, not Leanne.
As Audrey's friends gather at Gail's, Peter grills Deirdre, who claims she didn't take the bet. Grabbing the CCTV, Peter starts to look for evidence of Lewis's fraud. The Barlows are stunned by what they see - but has Lewis already made his getaway?
Meanwhile, when Natasha reveals she's told Dev they'll rent his flat, Nick's like a rabbit in headlights and he angrily dumps her. Natasha's inconsolable, can she talk him round or will Nick break her heart?
Elsewhere, an accident while working for Owen nearly injures Izzy; Owen lays into Bill, claiming he's too old for the business; Sally discovers Sophie lied to her about attending the festival with Sian; and Molly tells Dev she's finishing at the shop, but is she leaving Weatherfield?
Audrey's shocked as she learns the truth
Airs on Friday, August 13 2010 20:30 BST on ITV1
As Deirdre pleads her case, both Ken and Peter are filled with rage. Desperate to stop Lewis leaving the country, Peter heads to the Platts, where all eyes are on Audrey - who's starting to worry about Lewis's no show.
As Peter announces to the guests that Lewis is a conman, Audrey's sure there must be some mistake, but when he re-plays the CCTV tape, her worst fears are realised.
Remembering the £100k is due to be transferred, she frantically calls the bank. Has Lewis got away with the biggest payout of his life?
Meanwhile, as a heartbroken Natasha leaves the party in tears, Nick makes excuses for her absence. Leanne finds her crying outside and attempts to console her, but when Natasha reveals she's pregnant and Nick doesn't know, how will Leanne react?
Elsewhere, Bill catches a glimpse of Owen's dark side when Owen menacingly insists he wants the builders' yard; Sally bans Sophie from seeing Sian as punishment for lying about the festival; and Owen asks Eileen out on a date when Liz plays hard to get.
THERE’S a shock in store for fans when they see how Nick tricks Leanne into a meeting – while a stunned Natasha looks on.
Nick cons her into a surprise *encounter at the factory by *borrowing Janice’s phone to send a text.
And duped Leanne is stunned to find him waiting for her instead of her mum.
He begs her to stay and talk…but just as Nick moves in for a kiss, Natasha walks in.
Blonde hairdresser Tash had been hoping to set up home with Nick but he tells her he could never cherish her and she deserves someone who can.
So she rushes off without getting the chance to tell him her shocking news – that she is pregnant.
Our Street insider said: “Natasha’s world is shattered.
She’s carrying the baby of a man who doesn’t love her.
“Leanne works out what’s going on and urges her to confess.
“But she had a termination when she was with Nick so she is the last person Natasha wants to have consoling her.
“Natasha finds herself in a really dark place – pregnant and completely alone.”
Rachel Leskovac, who plays poor Natasha, is leaving Corrie and there are rumours in soapland that her character may
commit suicide.
Giving nothing away, Rachel would only say: “I feel very honoured to have been given such a dramatic exit.”
You can see whether Natasha finally tells Nick she is pregnant a week tomorrow.
Catch up with all the action on ITV1 from 7.30pm.
Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has revealed that fans of the soap often approach her to praise the character of John Stape.
The actress, who plays John's wife Fiz, explained that viewers always seem to support the troubled schoolteacher - despite his dark behaviour on screen.
Speaking to Inside Soap, McAlpine explained: "People will come up to me and say, 'Ooh, that John, he's a one - but isn't he lovely?' They're really glad that Fiz and John got married.
"It doesn't matter what he does on screen, they still think he's nice. I reckon Graeme Hawley, the actor who plays him, must be hypnotising the audience through their television sets to make them like him!"
When Fiz returns to Weatherfield in next week's episodes, the couple attempt to put their recent disputes behind them as John takes up a new job at the bookies.
McAlpine added: "She's chuffed to bits that he's got a proper job now. Fiz isn't really bothered about how John earns cash, she just wants an easy life. She doesn't see working at Peter's betting shop as posing any problems to them as a couple - but this is soap, so John will probably end up having a gambling habit by the end of the week!"
ACTRESS Lysette Anthony shows off the curves that lure Nigel Havers away on tonight's Coronation Street.
The stunning 46-year-old - who became a famous pin-up after being dubbed the "face of the '80s" by photographer David Bailey - plays businesswoman Lydia Radcliffe, who runs off with Havers' Casanova character Lewis Archer.
Conman and male escort Lewis meets her at the airport before they jet off to Barbados - leaving behind a devastated Audrey Roberts, played by Sue Nicholls.
Lysette is best known for sitcom Three Up, Two Down, which she starred in alongside Michael Elphick, Angela Thorne and Ray Burdis.
The former model also appeared in Hollyoaks as Yvonne Summers and Woody Allen's movie Husbands And Wives.
