Jonathan Ross is reportedly being lined up to be the host of the Brit Awards.
The presenter, who recently signed a deal to take his chat show to ITV, is also hoping to produce the ceremony, according to the News of the World.
A source said: "Jonathan has wanted to host the Brits for years but all his commitments at the Beeb have never allowed him to.
"As soon as he left he made it his priority to get the Brits. He's really excited it's going to happen. But he wants to do it properly, which is why he's in talks to produce the whole thing as well."
Ross, who officially left the BBC at the weekend, has already presented the BAFTAs and British Comedy Awards.
