have you read in the papers people are beating people up and recording it on their phones
i think it is horrific and terrible
im not going to say the name of my school but it said there was 1 inncedent and it had happened at MY school. i am actually quite scared now!!

anyone else read this in the papers?

i was watching gmtv the other morning and they did a report on happy slapping and text bullying it is awful!!

there are some not nice people out there! as a parent it is scary to think some kids do this! if i ever found out my son did it to someone i have no idea what i would do. the one thing about text bullying and happy slapping is at least there is evidence that it has happened, this does not make it any better than the other sort of bullying but it would help in bringing the bullies to justice. i think they should make bullying a criminal offence and not just something they get detention or suspension for,

Theres alot about it in the papers and magazines at the moment which is a good think. As willow siad at least there is evidence.

It's a horrible thing to do.

There was a storyin the paper a couple of days ago when a boy stood up to the other boy trying to "happy slap" him and he was charged and expelled from school for standing up for himself.

They have also been showing the new craze of recording kids playing chicken with trains. That was scary!!!

My school was one of the first ones to "Happy Slap", in defence of my school- it started out as a joke. It was one of those things as a kind of greeting, like when people hit your arm. But now its just taken a few sick people to take a greeting out of hand.

Everyday theres something on the news about it, and it just gets sicker and sicker-- i dunno how those people can sink so low...

Its horrible, people are starting (well, i say starting but i guess they have always been doing it.....like what Abi said, it started as kind of nothing ) It just getting worse.

found out yesterday that 2 of the younger kids at my school did it and put this other kid in hospital. luckily theyve been expelled but they only got caught cos they were playing with their phones in lessons and when the teacher took them away saw the videos on them
