It was a tough choice but I chose Stacey and Ruby because they friendship has blossomed and they've brought out the best in each other

Dennis and Dot have some understanding though, it's a unique kind of friendship and one I certainly wouldn't have put money on at the beginning.

I think I'd have to say Grant and Phil, I don't think any of the others come close. I would love to say Sharon and Dennis, but I don't think they've grown into much of a double act, yet!

Jane and Ian bring a good onscreen presence to the show, Ian's character hasn't half had a personality transplant since meeting the woman, and to think they came into each others lives on bad terms ha!

Yes Ian has definetely changed when it comes to family, he was great with Pauline. Jane and his children are very important to him. But I think he still has a mean streak in him. Phil Mitchell for example, I know he didn't exactly give Ian a warm welcome, but turning him into the police definetely showed the real Ian. And he's not always great to his employees, Minty and Gary. He always like to exert his authority over people.

But isn't that what businessmen are like though? He's just supposed to represent the yuppy, the eager go-getter... I think he's brilliant, and such a hypocrite aswell.

Every show needs its weasel hehe.

I really like Stacey and Ruby, they are really different but make a brilliant pair. For me the ultimate double act at the moment is Jake and Danny. I just love the way they bounce off each other and I think they are really funny. I can't imagine them being set up. They came together and if they were going they should have gone together too. I don't understand the thinking beind seperating them at all!

I got to go with Phil and Grant, they were the best double act by far

i dont think we have seen a friendship like the one that bianca and tiffany shared - and i think it will be hard to find a pairing like it again (although the producers are said to be trying) they stuck together through thick and thin and didn't go off with each others boyfriends at the drop of a hat.
do like what they created with dennis and dot and thought the mitchell boys were great
like ruby and stacy but dont think you can compare the oldies that were together for years to pairings like ruby/stacey demi/darren and jake and danny who we have only just met and havent really had time to grow (together or apart on our screens)

Dot and Jim, they are so funny and I love June Brown she's a natural. In the past with regards to friendship I'd say Sharon and Michelle.:)

With regards to the brother double act, I have to say Phil and Grant. I love Jake and Danny but we haven't really seen enough of them nor have their characters/brotherly compatibility been given enough time to develop.:)

I disagree, I think we've seen alot of them as brothers in many different situations and got a good understand of what goes on with them.

Mitchells = Boring for me!

I put Jake and Danny because we've seen good and bad times for them already and I think they've coped really well. I just love their scenes.

Yes Mitchells are Boring now, but in the past they have been very funny prior to when they got on my nerves and this is where I was coming from.

Jake and Danny are defo without a doubt my no1 brothers (the now) and the Mitchells don't even touch them. Yes we have seen some very commical moments between the two, a couple of very heart touching moments and we have seen them arguing, but I feel that we have only just been given a taste of their relationship and there is still a lot more to learn about them.:)

There was one scenes with Sharon and Phil where she was in a mood with him and they were baby sitting Louise when he was bouncing a rabbit of Sharon's head. That's the only scene I've ever liked Phil in.

Billy is fine, he's not a true Mitchell. He knows what's good for him! Sam is alright now she's gone independantly. There was a line a couple of episodes ago where she was talking to Billy about family saying she didn't want to be a part of it. I liked her for that episode but otherwise I think Den was spot on when he said that she'd let herself be maniputlated because she wanted to prove something.

As for the others, I don't like the lot of them!

No I don't anymore, they've had their day in which they were very good but it's time to move over now as to me they have lost their appeal. Also I don't like the fact that they have been made to feel, perhaps they do to, that they are bigger than the show.

In the past we have had some very funny Mitchell moments, Cindy/Ian/Grant/Phil in Italy and the spanish holiday with Bianca/Ricky/David/Steve/Grant/Phil

lol im sorry, its the other way round, how can u say Phil and Grant "dont even touch" the Moons. The Moons are awful and will never ever be as good as the Mitchells, Phil and Grant would make mincemeat of them.
