Doug's suspicions of Charlie heighten
Airs on Monday, July 5 2010 19:00 BST on ITV1
Doug's suspecting of Charlie when he heads out of the village again. Later, Doug's smug when he realises that Charlie has lied about his whereabouts.
With that, Doug informs Laurel and Ashley that he now only needs some evidence to prove to Diane that she's making a huge mistake marrying Charlie.
Meanwhile, Rhona senses that something's wrong with Marlon and is shocked when he eventually cracks.
Shadrach's struggling with his condition and after leaving his pint untouched in the pub, he hesitates outside the church, before turning his back and cracking open a can.
Elsewhere, Victoria goes to stay with Annie in Spain; Holly makes plans to tag along on a night out with Aaron and Jackson, reassuring John she won't let him down - he can trust her; Nicola has a brain wave; and Natasha's spooked to find a wedding photo of her and Mark ripped in two and reels as she realises that someone's been in the house.

Aaron, Jackson and Roz try and enter the toilet cubicle that Holly is in.
Holly heads out to a club with Aaron and Jackson and while there, she bumps into Roz. She's quickly drawn back into the drugs as Roz offers her some cocaine and before she knows it, she's agreed to one line.
A wired Holly admits to Roz that she was having such a good time at the club that she had another line and a pill. Later, Roz panics when she finds her in the toilet in a complete state.
Roz rushes to find Aaron who goes to Holly's side. In the cubicle, Holly's panicking that her heart is beating too fast and worries that she can't breathe. Aaron carries Holly back to Smithy but will he keep her overdose a secret from John and Moira?
Meanwhile, determined to prove that Charlie's a liar and a cheat, Doug heads to his office in Harrogate to see if he turns up.
Declan and David attempt to forge a truce.
Arriving at the address, Doug finds the office closed and in darkness. Returning to the village, Doug informs Laurel that Charlie's up to no good and wonders how to break the news to Diane.
Elsewhere, Leyla invites Declan over for a drink and David's thrown when he sees him in the shop. Declan suggests that they should start afresh and when Leyla pops out, he reassures him he didn't know the lengths Nathan would go to.
David, however, is adamant that he can't risk it again - he could've lost Leyla. With that, David reveals that he's quitting the council.
Charlie asks Rodney to keep his secret

Rodney worries that Charlie's working too hard and offers to drive him to the office. Once in the car, Charlie reveals that he has a hospital appointment. Emerging from the hospital with some pills, Charlie asks Rodney to keep his hospital visit a secret from Diane.
In the village, everyone tries to stop Doug from investigating Charlie and accept that he's a genuine guy. However, confronting Charlie in The Woolpack, Doug accuses him of having an affair.
Diane's incredulous at Doug's accusations and insists that if he really has her best interests at heart, he'll stay away.
Later, Charlie heads off for another early night, leaving Rodney increasingly concerned for his friend's health. Diane, however, becomes increasingly aware that something's not quite right.
Rodney is worried when he has to take Charlie to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Leyla's distraught when she accidentally comes across the DVD of David and Tania. When David returns to an empty house, he quickly realises that Leyla's seen it and rushes to Victoria to tell her the truth.
There, David attempts to explain what happened but she refuses to listen and orders him to leave. Leyla confides in Gennie that she doesn't know what to believe.
Elsewhere, Bob is trying to be optimistic but Viv is making it harder than ever for him to see the twins; Aaron lies to Paddy about Holly's condition; Jai and Faye kiss when they're 'working' late; Paddy agrees to keep quiet about Holly staying at Smithy; and Nikhil rejects Maisie's offer to stay the night at Holdgate.
Rodney reveals Charlie's secret to Diane

Rodney forces Charlie to admit why he's being so secretive. Backed into a corner, Charlie's forced to admit that he's been deceptive - he's dying but can't bring himself to break the news to Diane.
Rodney insists that Diane deserves to know the truth but Charlie doesn't know how to tell her.
Later, a grave-looking Rodney arrives at The Woolpack to tell a stunned Diane that Charlie has an inoperable brain tumour.
Chas is oblivious to Carl and Eve's attraction.
Meanwhile, Nikhil's nervous as Maisie suggests that they spend some time alone at home. Nikhil, however, makes plans for the cinema. Not one to be beaten, Maisie insists that she's deciding their date for evening - and it's a night at Home Farm together.
Elsewhere, Natasha's unnerved when she goes to collect Will from the garage and Cain stops her leaving so they can have a 'chat'; David protests his innocence; Jai and Faye admit they fancy each other and share a kiss; and Carl's narked when Chas invites Aaron and Jackson around for dinner.
Diane confronts Charlie over his secret

Diane tells Charlie that they want to be together for as long as they can.
Having discovered Charlie's secret, Diane pays him a visit.
Feeling bad for keeping the news to himself, Charlie apologises and explains that he doesn't have long left to live and admits that he should have told her from the outset. He goes on to reveal that because he fell in love, he buried his head in the sand.
Wanting to make her life easy again, Charlie suggests that he should leave. An emotional Diane claims she won't let him die alone - she still wants to live the dream with him in France for as long as it lasts.
Maisie and Nikhil share a romantic night in.
Meanwhile, the Wyldes' tormentor reminds Natasha that they're capable of far more than a torn photo, before hinting that he'll get to the family through Maisie. With that, Natasha storms out but is clearly shaken by the confrontation. When Nathan hears about the incident, he's fuming.
Later, Cain taunts Nathan about Maisie, prompting Nathan to assert that he isn't the only one with a family. Cain's mood darkens and he sounds a clear warning to Nathan - he's just made a huge mistake.
Elsewhere, Chas is annoyed when she goes all out to make Aaron and Jackson welcome at Mill Cottage, while Carl goes to the pub; and Maisie's deflated when Nikhil fails to succumb to her seduction at Home Farm.
Poor Diane, another love of hers that dies :(
