God (for use of a better word) I hope so, yes. This has been dragging on for far too long.

EastEnders now and Peggy's becoming further frustrated by Glenda's presence in The Vic and their obvious dislike for each other results in yet more bickering between the pair.

Vying for Ronnie and Roxy's attention, Glenda attempts to get one over on Peggy by throwing an '80s CD into the player, before dancing with her daughters in the bar. Despite feeling left out, Peggy defends her sister-in-law when a guy called Rob suggests that Glenda's too old.

Insisting that Glenda can't just walk back into her daughters' lives after all these years, Peggy's adamant that the girls will always choose her over their mother. Glenda, however, bites back at Peggy - Ronnie and Roxy simply pity her.

Later, Roxy's taken aback to find Peggy crying. When asked what's wrong, Peggy asks her to send her off somewhere if she ever becomes too much of a burden.

Glenda, Ronnie and Roxy dance in the Vic to an 80s classic

These scenes air on Wednesday, June 30 at 8pm on BBC One.

Lucas panics as Owen's body is finally unearthed
Airs on Wednesday, June 30 2010 20:00 BST on BBC One
SoapsEastEndersOne-hour episode.

Still puzzled as to her son's whereabouts, Liz confides in Patrick that she's enlisted the help of a private detective to help with the search. Later, Lucas is panicked when he overhears a conversation between Denise and Patrick, in which Denise reveals that Lucas has started sleep talking. Denise is adamant that Lucas has made a big mistake and as Lucas is about to interrupt the conversation, Denise admits that she believes Lucas's regret is that he tied the knot with her. While Patrick assures Denise that Lucas loves her to bits, Lucas makes them aware of his presence. Over at the community centre, Lucas's church party is in full swing and as Fatboy and Leon joke about Christians, they decide to spice up proceedings by lacing their drinks with vodka.

Determined to secure a kiss, Fatboy ends up locking lips with Denise, much to Lucas's frustration. Marching Fatboy out of the building, Lucas reprimands him about his actions, while Denise is firm - at least Fatboy wanted to touch her. Having sought out a prostitute that looks remarkably like Denise, Lucas spots the crucifix around her neck, before deciding to head home. After a heart-to-heart with Shirley about her marriage, Denise heads home and is greeted by Lucas holding flowers and chocolates. Apologising for his earlier actions, Denise is firm - she just wants to be his wife. Dropping her bath robe, Denise reveals her sexy red basque, hinting that she wants to have sex.

Turning toward the door, Lucas looks like he's about to leave but he sternly mutters to himself "forgive me", before kicking the bedroom door shut. On the Square, Denise is heard shouting his name…

Meanwhile, Peggy and Glenda continue to snipe at each other; Stacey returns from hospital with her baby; Peggy's frustrated as Glenda reconnects with her daughters; Lucy's surprised to hear that Lauren's in America; Ryan turns up with some flowers for Stacey; Peggy throws someone out of The Vic for calling Glenda 'old'; Stacey decides to call her baby daughter Lily; and during an argument with the gang, Fatboy falls onto Trina's tree and snaps it in half.

Denise wakes alone in bed, shocked and shaken by the previous night. Seeing her ripped basque, Denise goes to leave the room just as Lucas walks in. Maintaining her silence, Denise tentatively steps by him and locks herself in the bathroom. Later, Chelsea and Patrick walk in on Lucas praying and before long, Jordan barges into the room revealing all about Trina's tree being destroyed - and Lucas's eyes fill with sheer panic.

Outside, the teens argue over Trina's tree and Mercy soon convinces them that they can't not replace it. Digging up a tree from the allotments, Leon and Fatboy resolve to plant it in the Square gardens in the hope that Lucas and Jordan will be grateful for the replacement. Lucas, however, prepares to dig up Owen's body so he can move it before anybody finds it. Just as Lucas is about to start digging, he's interrupted by the return of the teens. While they're spooked by a sudden noise, Lucas hides behind a car, praying that they'll leave. Fatboy begins digging around the base of Trina's tree and realising that the game's nearly up, Lucas heads home to pack. As Leon hits something in the ground, the rotting smell of putrid flesh fills the air and Zsa Zsa's scream echoes across the Square - Owen's leg can be seen poking out of the ground…

Elsewhere, Peggy lets Glenda know that the girls will always favour her over their mother; Glenda, however, insists that the girls are only putting up with her (Peggy) out of pity; Roxy's surprised to find Peggy with tears in her eyes upstairs in The Vic; and Ronnie tries to tell Glenda about her childhood demons…

Lucas reveals all to Denise
Airs on Thursday, July 1 2010 19:30 BST on BBC One

Lucas watches from his bedroom window as a police forensic team pace the Square gardens in search of evidence. Hoping to get away from the problems on the Square, Denise suggests that they use Kim's caravan but Lucas is firm - he doesn't have time as he has other things on his mind. Wandering back from the café with a cake in hand, Denise spots DI Kelly knock on Dot's door. As Liz emerges, she doubles over with wrought emotion - and at that moment, Denise realises whose body has been dug up. Walking into the house, Denise reveals all to Lucas who calmly reveals that he was responsible for killing Owen.

Determined to leave town in order to save the kids from the repercussions of his actions, Lucas grabs for his belongings but Denise begs him to stay - they should both stay in Walford, keep calm and tell no-one of their secret. With that, Lucas convinces Denise to pray with her. They're interrupted, though, by the arrival of DI Kelly who asks Denise to join them at the station so they can record her official statement. As she's escorted to the car, Denise spots Liz across the Square and their eyes meet - Denise realises that Liz is responsible for the police carting her away.

Meanwhile, Glenda quizzes Ronnie over what she was going to talk to her about the previous night before Peggy interrupted their heart-to-heart. Later, Roxy's on an anti-Glenda mission and makes it clear to her sister that they shouldn't welcome their mother back into their lives with open arms. Glenda manages to secure a babysitting session when Roxy's stuck for childcare but when Peggy spies Glenda bonding with Ronnie, she decides to stir the situation. Finding Roxy, Peggy confides in her that she overheard Glenda badmouthing Archie to baby Amy. With that, Roxy marches upstairs and demands that Glenda leave Walford.

Elsewhere, Pat tries to get Ryan to see sense about Janine; Leon reveals that he was cautioned for digging up a tree from the allotments; Ryan's intrigued to hear that Janine's not been out of the house for days; Leon reveals to Zsa Zsa that his mother died in a car crash when he was younger; Dot reveals to the locals that the body unearthed in the Square was Owen's; and when Ryan goes to check on Janine, he's puzzled to find her sleeping in his bed and the house in a state.
