Former EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite and Blue singer Duncan James are to be judges on Five talent show Don't Stop Believing, it has been revealed.

Popstar Anastacia and High School Musical choreographer Charles 'Chucky' Klapow will join the pair on the panel when the programme launches this summer, The Sun reports.

Don't Stop Believing - billed as Glee meets The X Factor - will follow the search for Britain's best musical performance group.

Speaking of the new signings, Five's head of entertainment Donna Taberer said: "Each judge will be a huge asset to our groups."

Earlier this month, it was claimed that stars of Glee could appear as guest panellists and mentors on the reality series depending on their filming schedules.

Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton is to host the programme.

The first six acts taking part in new Five reality show Don't Stop Believing have been revealed.

Fronted by Spice Girl Emma Bunton, the programme is searching the UK for the nation's best musical performance group. Blue singer Duncan James, popstar Anastacia, choreographer Chucky Klapow and ex-EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite will make up the judging panel.

Competing in the opening episode for a slot in the grand final and the chance to win an album deal are charitable organisation Singer Station, who performed 'True Colours' at their audition. Two members of the group come from care homes and the collective is based around "individuality and accepting everyone".

Also appearing are theatre performers Step Up, who are based at four different schools around South-East London, and all-male choir Eschoir, who met on a social networking site.

The ClasSix are quirky and flamboyant performers, who formed two and a half years ago. Featuring a former member of Jonathan Ross's house band 4 Poofs And A Piano, they want to "bring back the classics" with their performances.

Completing the lineup are 11-piece Dice, who feature a Thai boxer and a performer who claims that he can sing with his mouth closed, and The Manchester Show Choir, which raises money for The Christie Cancer Charity. The Manchester collective, set up by Daniel Wood in 2009, now have an extensive waiting list for members.

Don't Stop Believing starts on Sunday at 7pm on Five.

Tamzin Outhwaite has admitted that she is expecting to get tearful on Don't Stop Believing.

The former EastEnders actress, who is on the judging panel with Chucky Kaplow, Duncan James and Anastacia, said that she was going to need to "toughen up" to make it through the series.

"I am going to be the crying judge. I am going to need to toughen up slightly. Because I am a little bit emotional about things being a mother," she told DS.

"This doesn't feel like a manipulative show to me. There won't be a sob story to every group. If they have issues, their reality is like that - for instance we have two kids who are in care - that is just their reality. That isn't a sob story, it's their reality. But it still chokes me up."

Don't Stop Believing, which is a competition open to the UK's best musical performance acts, starts on Sunday at 7pm on Five.

X Factor finalist Nikitta Angus is one of the contestants taking part in this week's Don't Stop Believing.

Angus is hoping to land an album and distribution deal on the Five reality show with her song-and-dance group Blok. She joined them earlier this year after meeting leader Kay Lang at dance events around the UK.

Angus was eliminated in the fifth week of X Factor 2006, when she was mentored by Simon Cowell. She was in the same category as eventual winner Leona Lewis and runner-up Ray Quinn.

Since taking part in the ITV1 series, she has been recording her own material, gigging and teaching around the UK.

DaleDiva have been crowned the winners of Don't Stop Believing, narrowly beating Swish into the runner-up spot.

Host Emma Bunton first announced that the two groups would perform again in a final sing-off after receiving more votes from the audience than fellow finalists Singer Station, The Three Spires Musical Society, The Songtimers and True DynaMIX.

DaleDiva repeated the mash-up of Celine Dion's 'Power Of Love' and Beyoncé's 'Single Ladies' that won them a place in the final, a performance that ultimately captured viewers' votes over wildcard entry Swish's Robbie Williams medley.

After witnessing the final showdown, judge Anastacia commented: "There is not one reason any one of you women shouldn't feel absolutely fabulous being up on that stage."

The all-female collective earlier belted out a rendition of 'No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)' that all the panel agreed had banished their doubts over the group's versatility.

The final also saw the still unnamed supergroup recruit its final five members: AJ Lewis, Jessica Cotton, Tom Partridge, Chess Leigh and Taila Ould. The 30-strong group then performed a mash-up of Earth, Wind & Fire's disco classic 'September' and Latino rumba 'Sway'.
