Alexandra Burke has revealed the title of her next single.

'Start Without You', which recently leaked online, was confirmed by the singer as her next UK and Ireland release in a blog post on her official website.

Burke described the RedOne-produced track, which doesn't appear on her number one album Overcome, as her "summer tune".

"It's a new sound for me and I love it because I'm taking it back to my roots ! LOL! I hope you guys like it as much as I do!! It is a lot of fun!! (sic)" she wrote.

"I am off to LA in the next few days to shoot the video for my next single. So, I can't wait for that! BRING ON THE BEACH!!"

The 'All Night Long' star won the Sheer Infusion 'Newcomer Prize' at last night's Glamour Awards.

First time I heard it was on Alan Carr's Chatty Man and I actually really liked it! I hate her other songs though..

Alexandra Burke has displaced fellow X Factor star Olly Murs at the top of this week's singles chart.

'Start Without You' landed straight in at number one, the third time that the series five winner has achieved this feat, bumping Murs's track 'Please Dont Let Me Go' down to four.
