Its about time Stacey has the baby I am guessing its Janine or Ryan is there with her for the labour
So Danny leaves and Glenda stays around
Stacey's rushed to hospital in EastEnders in a fortnight's time when she goes into labour with Ryan - the unknowing father of her baby - by her side.
Walking into her room, Stacey's taken aback when she finds Ryan building a cot. Furious, Stacey asks him to leave. Later, Ryan leaves a teddy on her doorstep and on finding it, Stacey's touched by his affection.
Going to thank Ryan, Stacey's stopped in her tracks by Janine who wards her away - and reveals that Ryan was only cosying up to her as part of a bet.
Clearly upset by the revelation, Stacey walks away and on hearing Janine's cruel words, Ryan heads out to find her.
Tracking her down to the playground, Ryan tries to apologise but Stacey asks him to leave her alone. At that moment, though, Stacey goes into labour and is whisked to hospital.
With Ryan by her side, will she come clean about the paternity of her baby? And is Ryan developing real feelings for Stacey?
These scenes air on Wednesday, June 23 at 7pm on BBC One.
Why, in soaps, is it always the secret father, or the worst enemy of the mother, that's the only person there during labour?

Thats the way it is lol. Do you remember when Bianca had Liam and Grant was the only person there on hand to help? lol And Tiffany pregnant with Courtney, Grant to the rescue (obviously he was the father, but it wasnt obvious at the time lol).
I remember Grant being with Bianca at Liam's birth vividly. They were sworn enemies at the time due to his treatment of Tiffany, I think.

SoapsEastEndersOne-hour episode
Lucy pretends to revise in the café but desperate for cash, she calls Ian's mobile and pretends there's a delivery outside. While Ian's on the street searching for the non-delivery, Lucy dips into the till and steals £50. Adam soon turns up ahead of her exam and Lucy hands over the cash in exchange for an envelope. After her exam, Lucy returns in the hope of stealing more money but Ian's twigged that the money's low. Planting a seed of doubt in Ian's mind about Jane's trustworthiness, Lucy manages to slip out, while Ian's attentions are turned to his wife. Later, Ian's watching webcam footage on his laptop from earlier on in the café. He's furious, though, when he spots Lucy delving into the till. Confronting her when she returns home, he presumes she's caught up in drugs.
Lucy immediately denies that she's caught up in substance abuse. Pushed for an explanation, she reluctantly admits that she's paying to see exam papers early because she's missed so much school. Seeing the state his daughter's in, Ian asks how much an exam paper costs, before handing over the cash. Heading out, Lucy meets Adam on Turpin Road and shoves the money at him for the exam papers. As Lucy takes the envelope, Adam states that he doesn't want the money. Grabbing her hand, Adam suggests that she can pay him in kind…
Meanwhile, Max is flustered when Darren wanders into the Car Lot. Eager for him to leave, Max suggests that he take the day off. Darren's puzzled and reluctantly heads out for a day in the park with Jodie. As Darren leaves, Vanessa emerges from beneath Max's desk. Abi's soon knocking on the door and passing Vanessa off as a client, Max ushers her out. A vigilant Abi, however, notices that her father's shirt isn't buttoned properly. On hearing that Abi will be spending her birthday with Tanya, Max sets to work arranging a party for her. Having decorated the front room, Max surprises Abi with her sister Lauren, Jordan and a special meal. Abi, however, is left embarrassed when she opens Max's present - a Jedward CD.
Elsewhere, Dot's perturbed to find Patrick's hat in her toilet and she wonders if he spent the night with Liz; Ryan's roped into helping carry a cot to the Slaters'; Libby gatecrashes Darren and Jodie's picnic in the park; Stacey's furious to walk into her bedroom in only a towel to find Ryan sat there fixing the cot; Liz overhears Lucas suggesting to Patrick that proposing to her is a good idea; and Ryan steals a teddy that Stacey had her eye on in the market.
Stacey's feeling suffocated by everyone's suggestions as to what will bring on labour - if Jean wasn't enough, it's the final straw when Dot turns up with herbal tea and a scrubbing brush! Stacey attempts to leave but Jean manages to persuade her to stay inside in case she needs help. Outside, Ryan leaves the teddy he stole for her. Stacey eventually manages to escape for some air and when Jean discovers the teddy, she goes in search of her daughter. Finally tracking Stacey down the café, they ponder who left the toy at the house. When Whitney chimes in, Stacey realises that it was Ryan's idea.
Later, Jeanine teases Ryan about losing out on the bet to kiss Stacey but Janine's gobsmacked when he admits that he did kiss her. Ryan storms out of the flat, leaving Janine alone.
When Stacey turns up on the doorstep to thank Ryan for the teddy, Janine takes great pleasure in revealing that Ryan taking a liking to her was all for a bet…
Meanwhile, Peggy's furious to realise that Glenda's rearranged the kitchen. Determined to reconnect with Roxy - and get one over on Glenda - Peggy asks her out for a shopping spree. Roxy eventually agrees and ropes her mother Glenda into covering the bar while she's out. Peggy's livid to see Glenda serving drinks and after a subtle dig from Glenda about Peggy's age, Peggy rushes upstairs. Upset that Ronnie and Roxy apparently don't need her anymore, Peggy begins packing her clothes - she's moving out. Peggy's actions have the required effect, though - Ronnie reveals that she's moving back into The Vic and Glenda's moving out into Jack's flat.
Elsewhere, Max apologises to Abi for embarrassing her at her birthday meal, before allowing her to find her real present - diamond earrings; Patrick's frustrated when everyone congratulates him on his 'impending marriage'; Lucy hands Ian the exam paper money, claiming she doesn't want to cheat; Lucy claims that she'll tell Libby about Adam's sex demands but Adam retorts that he'll expose her cheating ways if she does; after a steamy session with Max, Vanessa insists that it's clear he still loves Tanya; Liz reveals to Patrick that she's not looking to get married - she's happy to be having some fun; and Lucy meets Adam down the side alley of The Vic and their kiss is witnessed by Minty.

SoapsEastEndersOne-hour episode
Ryan returns to the flat and is furious to learn that Janine spitefully revealed to Stacey that their kiss was part of a bet. Storming out, Ryan makes a beeline for the Slaters', only to discover that Stacey's not home. Alone at the swings, Stacey experiences her first contraction and she cripples over in pain. Ryan spots a breathless Stacey on the swings and rushing over, Stacey shouts at him to leave. Stacey tries to walk away from Ryan but as she does, she again doubles in agony and kneels on the pavement with another contraction. As Ryan calls for an ambulance, Stacey begs him not to leave her. Paramedics soon arrive on the scene and Stacey's keen for Ryan to leave but before he gets the chance, the doors close.
At the hospital, a midwife ushers Ryan into the delivery room and on seeing him, Stacey shouts for Bradley. Back on the Square, Jean's just received a call from Ryan with the news of Stacey's condition. Rushing to The Vic, Jean rallies Charlie and Mo, while Janine overhears Becca's claim that Ryan's at Stacey's side at hospital. Stacey's in pain on the stretcher and begs the midwife for an epidural but she insists that it's too late - she'll need to give birth naturally. Panic suddenly flashes across Stacey's face when the baby's heart monitor begins beeping but after fiddling with the wires, Ryan manages to silence it. High on gas and air, Stacey insists that what happened to Bradley was all her fault - she's done bad things and has blood on her hands. Sure that the baby's going to pay for her wrongdoings, Stacey confides her belief in Ryan that her baby won't survive or will be born with a life-threatening condition.
On hearing the baby's heart monitor beeping again, Stacey panics. The midwife reveals that the unborn baby's not receiving enough oxygen and a registrar is immediately called. Stacey agrees to a procedure and lying on her side, the registrar continues delivering the baby. Reaching out, Stacey's hand connects with Ryan's. As a lifeless baby is pulled from Stacey, the midwife carries it across the room and Stacey's devastated not to hear a noise. As the baby begins to cry, Stacey falls unconscious due to the amount of blood she's lost. The midwife turns to Ryan and congratulates 'Bradley' on becoming a father.
Later, Stacey regains consciousness and Ryan hands over her baby daughter. Jean, Mo, Charlie and Becca arrive with Dot, who remarks that the newborn has Bradley's eyes. Bounding into the hospital, Janine tracks down Ryan and claims that she loves him but Ryan's firm - he wants nothing more to do with her or her evil ways. Returning to Stacey's side, Ryan kisses Stacey on the forehead. Becoming tearful, Stacey tries to tell Ryan something but she can't bring herself to say the words. Ryan leaves Stacey and her baby daughter alone. Kissing her baby's nose, Stacey tells her: 'It's just you and me.'
When Abi and Lauren return from the cinema slightly tipsy, Max isn't best pleased but he's distracted when Vanessa shows up in search of her phone. The girls realise who Vanessa is and Max asks them not to let Tanya know he's seeing anyone. With Vanessa gone, Max reveals that he's booked him and his girls a family holiday. Lauren, however, drops a bombshell - she's leaving for America the following day to spend the summer at camp. Abi and Lauren also reveal that Max and Tanya are not divorced and if he's been checking his mail and not piling unopened envelopes in his drawer, he'd know. Checking the post, Max's worst fears are confirmed.
Promising not to cause problems, Max eventually persuades Lauren and Abi to give them a lift home to where they're staying with Tanya - her new boyfriend Greg's house. On their arrival, Max says goodbye to his girls and watches as they let themselves into the house. Max hesitantly drives away but quickly reverses to the house and strides to the door. Annoyed that Max has gone back on his word, Abi and Lauren ask him to leave but Max isn't going anywhere - not until he's spoken to Tanya. Searching the downstairs rooms, Tanya's nowhere to be found. Reaching the bottom of the stairs, Max looks up and sees a pristinely-dressed Tanya looking down.
Tanya reluctantly agrees to talk to Max for five minutes and a heated exchange ensues. Reminding Max of their deal, she asks him to leave her alone but he's persistent - he can't move on as he's never stopped loving her. Quizzing Tanya about Greg, Max isn't prepared for her comparison of them both - and is devastated when Tanya flashes a diamond engagement ring at him: she's getting married to her second and final perfect husband. A downtrodden Max leaves the house and as he's sat in the car, Greg's 4x4 pulls ahead of him trying to park in the driveway. Pulling away, Max returns to the Square. As he arrives at his house, he opens a multimedia message from Jean - it's a photo of Stacey's baby girl…

Ryan packs his bags and leaves Janine
Airs on Friday, June 25 2010 20:00 BST on BBC One
Stacey wakes to find her baby daughter missing from the cot next to her and she panics until a midwife quickly returns her. While pondering names, Stacey wonders what to do when the baby begins to cry and when Jean arrives, she suggests that she's probably just hungry. Worried about Stacey's air of anxiety, Jean passes her a book of baby names. Talk turns to breastfeeding and Stacey's adamant that she doesn't want to pass any of her medication on. However, after talking with the midwife, she's assured that the baby won't receive as much medication as she did while inside the womb. Following another failed attempt at breastfeeding, Stacey loses her temper with Jean and demands that she leave.
Max turns up at the hospital with a present for Stacey and the baby. Jean attempts to prevent him from going inside but Max walks in anyway. Comforting Stacey, Max assures her that she'll find her stride soon enough. Stacey,
however, reveals that she doesn't believe she'll be a good enough mother. Confirming to the midwife that she'll not be breastfeeding, Stacey turns to her daughter and states that she'll never be a good enough mother for her due to her bipolar condition.
Meanwhile, Ryan's bags are packed ready to leave. Janine, however, pretends not to be bothered by his intentions. She's upset, though, when he eventually walks out of the flat alone. Spotting Ryan wandering out of Pat's house, Janine confronts her but Pat's insistent - Janine should do anything and everything she can to persuade Ryan to return home. Eventually plucking up the courage to face Ryan again, she takes him a T-shirt he left at the flat but when he mocks her attempts at an apology, she returns to the flat alone.
Elsewhere, Max wakes with a hangover; Patrick tries to put the brakes on his relationship with Liz; Minty informs Adam that he saw his kiss with Lucy earlier in the week; Jordan and Libby decide to bed new plants below Trina's tree, much to Lucas's frustration; Patrick badmouths Liz to Heather, unaware that her colleague is in earshot; Minty attempts to tell Libby about Adam and Lucy; Abi asks Max if she can stay off school to visit Stacey and the baby, while Max heads out to buy Stacey a present.
Also, Liz informs Patrick that they should put their relationship on the back burner until Owen knows about them; and arriving at the Beales' for payment in kind for the exam papers, Adam suggests that he and Lucy have some fun but Lucy declines - she'd never sleep with him.

Tanya's back and Stacey has a baby girl :cheer:
EastEnders star Lacey Turner has revealed that she is "really enjoying" filming with her new screen daughter.
The actress's troubled character Stacey Branning gives birth to a baby girl in scenes which air on the BBC show next week.
Speaking to Inside Soap about the new arrival, Turner commented: "I'm really enjoying having a little 'un on set. I've got a younger sister, Lily, so I grew up with a baby in the house, which means it's not a new thing for me.
"I suppose I'm pretty comfortable around kids because of that - it's great that I can enjoy all the cuddles, but not have to suffer with the sleepless nights as well!"
On how her alter ego will cope with parenthood, she added: "Stacey's so happy to be a mother - she really loves her little girl and will do anything for her."
Turner will bow out of EastEnders later this year. She has been tipped to pursue a career in the West End after she makes her departure.
