Monday 07 June

Kris is worried about Martin's request to help assist in his suicide. Kris speaks to Malachy about being diagnosed with HIV and whether he ever wanted to give up. Malachy insists that as long as there's breath in his body, he has a reason to live.

With that, Kris informs Martin that he can't go through with helping him kill himself but Martin's determined to find a way out - somehow. Feeling that he's run out of options, Kris calls in professional help. Has Kris and his betrayal torn Martin and Ricky apart for good?

Meanwhile, Jacqui books an appointment for Theresa to have an abortion, even though it breaks her heart to merely think about it. When Theresa learns what Jacqui's done, she's outraged but Jacqui's adamant - if the baby's born, she'll become the prime suspect in Calvin's murder.

Thinking things through, Theresa tentatively agrees to the termination. Turning to Lauren for support, Theresa reveals what Jacqui's planned but Lauren's forced to admit that she's not pregnant - she never was as it was all a scam to get money from Spencer. Theresa's horrified and turns her back on Lauren.

Rae struggles with her revision as she worries about the prospect of dying. Newt, however, does his best to keep her mind off the curse. Wanting to keep an eye on her, Newt asks Frankie if she can move in but Frankie declines. When Newt complains to Darren, though, they misunderstand each other and Darren suddenly finds himself with two new lodgers.

Elsewhere, Duncan tries to lift Ricky's spirits and knows that there's no better distraction than the ladies. Ricky's heart isn't in it but Duncan vows that by the end of the day, he'll find the right girl for Ricky. Duncan tries to persuade India to go on a date with Ricky but she's not interested - that is until Duncan pulls at the heartstrings, revealing that Ricky's dad is really ill.

Duncan tries to crash the date but India and Ricky soon make it clear that three's a crowd. India suggests to Ricky that if Duncan really wants juicy gossip from their date, then maybe they shouldn't disappoint him.

Tuesday 8 June

Carmel goes through the last of Calvin's belongings, while Lauren tries to revise. When Spencer calls at the house, Lauren's concentration is thrown as she worries that he knows about her fake pregnancy after revealing all to Theresa. With that, Lauren goes to the McQueens' to see Theresa.

Lauren offers a truce but Theresa's not interested. When Lauren leaves, Jacqui begins to panic about Theresa's huge secret and insists that she can't tell a living soul what she's done. Later, Theresa tries to contain her emotions as a tearful Carmel confides that she thinks she's pregnant with Calvin's baby.

Meanwhile, Darren struggles to adjust to his new loved-up flatmates. Newt's forced to pay his way but he's happy that Rae's happy, if not a little stressed about her exams. Newt decides to arrange a post-exam party and with that, they throw an impromptu housewarming bash.

When Lauren hears that they're planning something, she finds herself excluded and realises that Theresa's told them all about Spencer and her non-pregnancy. Newt forces Lauren to come clean, leaving Gaz fuming as he watches Lauren reveal all to Spencer - he never was going to become a father.

Ricky's spent the night at The Ashworths' and Kris calls around in an attempt to justify his actions. Duncan, however, is seething - Martin could be taken away from Ricky and it's all Kris's fault. Ricky confides in India that Martin's been taken into hospital and when she hugs him, Duncan's imagination goes into overdrive about what they got up to on their date.

When Kris tries talking to Martin, Duncan overhears that he'd planned on killing himself. Duncan's livid with Martin and sympathises with Kris's decision, before making Martin promise never to go through with his suicide bid. Ricky's delighted when the Ashworths offer him a roof over his head for as long as he needs.

Elsewhere, Michaela proves herself useful by helping Sasha and Spencer at The Loft. Michaela manages to make Sasha laugh and lightens the mood, which is no mean feat given the tragedy that's befallen the family of late.

Wednesday 9 June

Newt attempts to encourage Rae to live for the moment, so takes her rollerskating. Rae's mind is taken off the curse and it seems like they are having a perfect day - until Rae realises that her lucky locket is missing.

Rae freaks out and Newt tries to calm her down by insisting that the locket wasn't magic. Rae, however, explains that she wants to find the charm because he bought her it, not because it was magic. Returning home, Darren informs Rae that he's found her misplaced necklace. Rae's delighted to have her locket back but realises that her real protection is Newt.

Believing that she and Malachy will look guilty if they don't return to work, Mercedes suggests that they return to work at The Loft. Malachy still suspects Mercedes of holding something back from him about Calvin's death.

Cheryl, however, thinks it's disgusting that Mercedes is still planning to work for Sasha. How would she feel if the Valentines found out about her affair with Calvin?

Meanwhile, Ravi tries to get back in touch with the mysterious Kate who he met a few weeks ago. Anita winds him up about it but Ravi starts to think that he'll never find her. Then, out of the blue, Kate turns up to see him. Ravi agrees to put her disappearing act behind them and asks her out. Later, Anita puts pressure on Ravi to acquire the address of her biological mother.

When it comes to Ravi and Kate's evening in together, Kate tries to get Anita to stick around. Ravi gets rid of his sister by handing her the address she's after but it's Kate who ends up disappearing. Ravi's left feeling stood up again, while Anita's excited at the prospect of finally tracking down her mother.

Carmel ensures that Theresa hasn't told anyone about her (Carmel's) pregnancy. As she goes on about her hopes for her child, Theresa becomes increasingly uncomfortable and escapes to tell Jacqui about Carmel's secret.

Fearing that Carmel's news might put Theresa off her abortion on Friday, Jacqui demands that she stay strong. Theresa struggles to hold back her secret as Carmel enthuses that having Calvin's baby is his final gift to her.

Nancy comes across a letter that Steph's lost and can't help but read it. Later, she confronts Steph about its contents - it's about cervical cancer and Steph's been ignoring it. With that, Nancy insists that Steph must see the oncologist immediately.

Thursday 10 June

Nancy takes Steph to see the cancer specialist. Gilly's surprised to find that Steph's not at work and is even more surprised to see Jem back in the village. Jem assumes that Steph has stood him up and warns him not to let her mess him around again. At the hospital, Steph receives a prognosis from the oncologist. Still in shock, Steph makes Nancy promise not to say anything to anyone.

When Steph finally sees Gilly, she acts like there's nothing wrong but Gilly can tell that all's not right. When Gilly tries to coax the truth out of her, she can't bring herself to say the words and he assumes that she wants to break up with him.

Steph later confronts Nancy about what she may have said to Gilly. Unbeknown to them, though, Tom overhears the conversation and quickly tells Jack and Frankie about Steph's bad news. Steph's horrified to realise that her secret's out.

Newt's disturbed when Darren insists that Rae's lying about being over the curse. Rae locks Darren out the flat in an attempt to secure some alone time with Newt - she wants to cook them a romantic meal but when the curtains catch fire, she's terrified.

Determined not to give in, Rae tries to prove that she's over the curse by taking Newt up onto the archway. Will she make it back down safely?

Meanwhile, Ravi suggests that Anita shouldn't get her hopes up about tracking down her biological mother. Jem admits that her real mother is long gone but wishes she could see her again. Anita begins to have doubts about the situation as she's afraid of meeting her mother alone. With that, Jem offers her support.

Heading to Manchester, Anita and Jem are surprised to find Kate - Ravi's love interest - working at the address they've been sent. Kate insists that she knows nothing about Anita's real mother Eva but when somebody calls Eva's name, it transpires that Kate is Eva…

Elsewhere, Darren feels like Newt and Rae have taken over his flat. Frankie decides to put a good word in for him with Jack and Darren agrees to meet them both at The Dog later in the day. Will Darren and Jack finally make amends?

Friday 11 June

Steph's determined to beat her cancer - even if the rest of her family struggle to cope with the news. While Steph insists that she doesn't want to be treated any differently, Jack worries that she hasn't yet told Gilly. Steph, however, begins to resent the pressure.

Unaware of the truth about Steph, Gilly drowns his sorrows in the pub. Jem finds him alone and takes pity. Steph tries talking to Tom about her illness and assures him that the doctors can make her better. Tom hopes that Gilly will look after her and at that moment, Steph realises that she needs to tell Gilly the truth. Before she gets the chance, though, she finds him in an embrace with Jem. Heartbroken, Steph runs away.

Theresa's fearful of her termination. Jacqui attempts to comfort her but she has to go through with it - the threat of becoming a suspect continues to loom. Later, Carmel realises that she's not pregnant after all and her hopes of keeping Calvin alive are thwarted.

Theresa tries to dodge her appointment in an attempt to look after Carmel but Jacqui insists that they must attend. Lauren shows up too, hoping to support her friend. Theresa's already gone inside, though, when Lauren accidentally lets slip about the termination to Carmel. Will Carmel make it to the clinic in time to save Calvin's baby?

Meanwhile, Anita hasn't yet told Ravi that 'Kate' is really Eva - her biological mother. Jem insists that Ravi has a right to know the truth. Anita eventually comes clean to a shocked Ravi, who secretly decides to track Eva down. In the meantime, Anita asks Jem to move in with them as she's happy to have another girl around the place.

When Ravi catches up with Eva, he accuses her of abandoning Anita for a second time. Eva, however, admits she doesn't think she's fit to be a parent - Anita's probably better off without her.

Ravi returns home to see Anita without Eva. Anita's upset but they're both shocked when Eva turns up on their doorstop. Will Anita give her mum a second chance?

Elsewhere, Duncan's jealous of Ricky as he thinks there's something going on between him and India. Darren, however, advises him to go after India's sister Texas. Darren shows Duncan some photos he took of Tex at Calvin's wedding but India catches them and brands Darren a creep.

With that, Darren begins coaching Duncan in the fine art of seduction - Darren-style. A spot of role-play, however, results in India taking a photo of them in a compromising situation.
