Diff'rent Strokes actor Gary Coleman has fallen into a coma and is currently on life support.
The former child star hit his head after taking a fall at his Utah home.
And now his spokesman has confirmed Coleman is fighting for his life.
'We are saddened to announce that since mid afternoon on May 27, 2010, Mr. Coleman has been unconscious and on life support,' said his manager John Alcantar.
Coleman was rushed to ICU yesterday afternoon.
The 4ft 8in actor was said to have undergone emergency surgery on arrival.
But Alcantar dismissed these reports, claiming his client was too sick for surgery.
'At this critical moment, we can only ask for your thoughts and prayers for Gary to make a speedy and full recovery,' he said.
Coleman's brother-in-law told TMZ that the actor was in critical condition after sustaining a head injury during a fall.
It is Coleman's third hospitalisation this year, after suffering seizures in January and February.
The 42-year-old, whose growth was stunted by a congenital kidney defect, has also had two kidney transplants.
Coleman, who played diminutive rascal Arnold Jackson, has a deeply troubled past.

In fact, has hardly been out of the headlines in the U.S. - mostly for the wrong reasons - since Diff'rent Stokes came to an end.
In 2007 he was arrested after a 'heated discussion' with his wife, Shannon Price, who at 24, is almost half his age.

He was cited for misdemeanour disorderly conduct by Utah police.
Two years later in July 2009 he and Price were once again involved in a domestic dispute in which his wife was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

His temper got him in hot water again in early this year when he was arrested on domestic violence assault charges. This time he spent a night in jail.
Coleman lost most of his fortune in a protracted legal battle with his adoptive parents, who had control of his wealth until he was 18. By the end, he was left with just $200,000.

Gary Coleman has suffered a brain hemorrhage and his condition has progressively worsened, says his manager.

The 42-year-old Diff'rent Strokes star is now unconscious and on life support. His wife is at his side in the hospital.

The actor hurt his head Wednesday when he fell in his Utah home, and was taken to a local hospital. He was then transferred to the intensive care unit at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

"He's unconscious and on life support at the moment," his manager John Alcantar tells PEOPLE. "He had a brain hemorrhage and he was lucid but he went unconscious [Thursday] afternoon."

Actor Gary Coleman has died at the age of 42, it has been confirmed.

The star - best known for his role in the '80s comedy Diff'rent Strokes - was hospitalised in Utah on Wednesday after suffering an intracranial hemorrhage caused by a fall.

Coleman slipped into a coma on Thursday and was taken off life support Friday morning. His wife Shannon Price and her father, as well as close friends and family, were at his bedside when he died.

Coleman's growth was hampered from a young age by a kidney disease that meant he never grew beyond 4'8" and required daily dialysis.

Gary Coleman's lawyer Randy Keester has said that the late star's wife Shannon Price did not have the right to remove his life support as the two were no longer legally married.

The couple, who appeared on Divorce Court in 2008, divorced in August of that year citing irreconcilable differences, reports E Online. Price was still living with Coleman on the night of his fall, however the separation casts doubt on her legal right to make decisions about the actor.

"Some people in the public [eye] are raising issues whether she had authority to do that and if she has authority to be making funeral arrangements, and exactly where she fits into his estate," Keester said.

"I think there's going to be some developing controversy about some issues of authority."

Price, whose 911 call reporting Coleman's fall was released today, is also facing criticism for taking so long to get to her partner's side.

"I just can't be here with the blood. I'm sorry, I can't do it. I can't... There's blood all over and I can't do anything," she told the emergency dispatcher.

"I'm gagging, I got blood on myself, I can't deal."

Coleman died May 28 at the age of 42.

New court documents show that Gary Coleman sought a restraining order against his ex-wife three months before he died, according to People.
He said Shannon Price was trespassing in his Santaquin, Utah, home while he was in the hospital at the time recovering from heart surgery
"I am concerned that irreplaceable memorabilia, irreplaceable model trains, irreplaceable items of personal property will be stolen, damaged or destroyed," Coleman said in the papers filed in February in a Utah court. "[Price] has shown a tendency to damage, destroy and steal my property and I believe she will continue to do so in my absence and while she is trespassing in my home."
Coleman, who died May 28 at 42 after suffering a brain hemorrhage, also said "there have been incidences of domestic violence" before and after their marriage.
A former agent of the Diff'rent Strokes actor has said Coleman had planned to remarry Price.
Both Price, named in a handwritten note from 2007, and Coleman's ex-girlfriend Anna Gray, named in the 2005 will, have filed claims fighting for control of his estate. Coleman was cremated last week.
