Living green means living a life devoid of all the factors that destroy the environment by pollution. The outrageous fuel costs and the pollution that the fossil fuels create has made people think about the alternative options to heat homes, drive cars and do all day to day energy related works without using fossil fuels. A genuine global movement has been going on across the world promote green energy and to educate people about the benefits of using green energy resources.

Countries like US have started taking issues like climatic changes seriously, and have started developing green energy resources to replace the pollution creating fossil fuels.

Let’s take a look a few of the beneficial factors behind ‘going green’.

Go green & save a bundle – Going green will help Mother Nature as well as reduce your monthly expenses. This is the best possible way to create a clean environment for the future generations.

Go green to save the entire region around you – The first thought that comes to our mind while thinking about ‘going green’ is about our home. But there is so much more to think, apart from our domicile. We can do a lot more at all the places that are associated with us, in one way or the other. We can use environment friendly resources like sunlight and wind to extract energy needed for offices.

Going green helps to change the perspective of people towards the way energy resources should be used. You can use energy saving fluorescents and install solar panels and wind generators for a lucrative energy usage.

Thus the feeling of accomplishment that one gets by ‘going green’ is indescribable. Do you want to experience the same contentment? Start looking for methods to ‘go green’. You will get them from the latest green Energy News (http://www.worldenergymedia.com) reports.

Let's get rid of all cars, aeroplanes, ships and buses and all cycle everywhere oh I suppose we should get rid of cattle as well because according to the tree huggers cattle are polluting the atmosphere as well.

I'm sick to death of all this "green propaganda"

Never had you pegged for a "kill the planet" type person... I don't think everything should be done away with but I do believe in recycling, saving the earth in small ways. Energy efficient bulbs, washing dishes by hand, not using a dryer and looking for cleaner fuels but I won't go as far as doing away with everything

Oh I do my bit for recycling. ALL my wine bottles go the bottle bank and I use low energy light bulbs to cut down on my bills rather than for energy conservation. I fundamentally disagree with environmental tax on petrol being used to force motorists off the road. I need my cat for my work and feel this tax is totally wrong. A lot of the scare stories put about by the tree huggers remains unproven and a lot of it is disputed by other reputable scientists.

 you had a typo (cat instead of car) which is quiet funny

I know where you are coming from.. I got my gas bill last friday and there is now a carbon tax on it.. new thing they have introduced.. thought we were all to move to smokeless fuel and when you do, they tax you..

My way of saving the environment would be to slaughter the cows. The hum they set of when they break wind is enough to kill any living thing within 20 miles. So let's just kill these monsters and save the planet.

Lets just eat them

Washed down with organically produced red wine served in biodegradable recycle paper cups. Not too much for me though in case I can't use my cat for work
