Do we know who he kills?
I think it is Robbie, the guy who is helping him before he gets out

I guess Maria only returns for the sale of her house so where does she stay while she is back with Kurt, Michelle or Carla and does baby Liam come back also?
Sure she will bring the baby with her, not heard of any tragedy happening whilst she has been away. Not sure where she will be living but accommodation is never a problem in any soap

Oh that's a shame, I liked the guy playing Robbie.
I might be wrong, but there have not been any spoilers for a major character to be killed off so I guess it is Robbie.
ITV1 is planning a killer schedule for the first week of June - featuring two hours of Britain's Got Talent per night and the most expensive episodes of Coronation Street ever made.

Gail McIntyre's murder trial begins in a fortnight's time - the same day as the programme goes HD and the same week as the much-anticipated siege.
A nervous Gail meets with her legal team before the hearing begins and their advice is clear - she must remain calm. Meanwhile, Deirdre makes a last-ditch attempt to convince Tracy not to give damning evidence against Gail. Deirdre, however, is stunned when Tracy admits her motive - she's "bending the truth" in the hope of spending more time with her daughter.
In court, Gail listens on as the prosecution state their case, insisting that Gail's relationship with Joe was far from rosy, before branding her a cold-blooded murderer. Calling their first witness, Tracy takes to the stand.
Gail struggles to contain her rage as Tracy begins spouting lie after lie about the night Joe died in the Lake District. Losing her temper, Gail shouts that Tracy's a liar, before being restrained...
Who will the jury believe?
I've not seen them yet but I have a feeling that these will be some of the best episodes of Corrie we've seen in years. They're certainly the most expensive. I'll have more gossip for you on Wednesday afternoon once I've watched them.
These scenes air on Monday, May 31 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
I'm really looking forward to these episodes.
Alison King has revealed that an upcoming Coronation Street factory fire stunt left her injured.
The actress, who plays Carla Connor, is under siege by the murderous Tony Gordon - played by Gray O'Brien - in next week's storyline.
She told The Mirror: "It was frightening. I've not felt that scared before. I've done plenty of action films, but I've never worked with flames and smoke before. I've got a bit of a phobia about fire now.
"Obviously they made sure it was safe. But it was a closed-in set. It's quite scary how hot it gets, how near the flames are and how quickly the fire takes hold."
King continued: "The scenes are very physical and when you're filming in the middle of all that smoke and heat, it takes its toll and you do end up a bit breathless.
"We had to be really careful and there were firefighters on stand-by, as well as a nurse who constantly checked that our oxygen levels were okay. During some scenes, my levels got a bit low so I had oxygen a couple of times."
Revealing her injuries, the star added: "I was covered in bruises, all over both legs and arms, everywhere. I had padding, but it was so physical.
"I was falling on the floor and fighting and at one point I had to dive on the floor to try to get the gun. There was only one bit where they used a stunt double because they wouldn't actually allow me to jump off a balcony myself."
Carla's informed of Tony's escape
Airs on Monday, May 31 2010 21:00 BST on ITV1
Note the slightly later TX time of 9pm.
As Tony and Robbie make their getaway, Carla's working late at the factory. She's startled, though, when the police arrive to inform her of Tony's escape. Fearing she's Tony's target, Carla heads to the pub to be with Trev.
Meanwhile, as Sunita continues to move into Maria's old house, Tony lurks in the ginnel. Unaware of who Tony is - and noting his injuries from the crash - Sunita invites him inside. As Sunita talks about her and Dev moving in, Tony learns that Maria's in Ireland with baby Liam. After hearing some painful memories, Tony quietly slips away.
News of Tony's escape reverberates up and down the Street and Sunita's horrified to hear her that her visitor was a killer. Carla shakes with fear as she begins to wonder who Tony's target is. Trying to reassure her that she's safe, Trev takes Carla home, while a menacing Robbie watches from the shadows.
After a tense moment in court, Tracy makes her decision to give evidence against Gail and explains to the court how she confessed to killing Joe.
Gail's horrified by the lies but Tracy's soon in her stride as she explains how Gail freaked out when Joe revealed his plan to fake his own death - and that she hit him with a rolling pin which she then hid in the bedroom. Unable to listen to any more of Tracy's lies, Gail publicly lambastes her, branding her a liar.
As Gail's restrained by court officials, David spots Tina on the Street leaving for court. With that, he pleads with her to be careful what she says about Gail but Jason and Graeme defend her.
Later, a terrified Tina takes the stand, outlining Gail's lies, before breaking down under cross-examination. Tina's emotional testimony appears to have an impact on the jury - and the Platts know it.
Back in her cell, Gail worries about the day's events.
Siege Week continues tomorrow evening at 9pm on ITV1 and ITV1 HD.
Robbie rounds up Tony's hostages
Airs on Tuesday, June 1 2010 21:00 BST on ITV1
Robbie and Tony take Carla and Hayley hostage and hold them in the factory.
Note the slightly later TX time of 9pm.
Robbie uses his cover as a potential client to trick Carla into letting her into the factory.
Tying Carla to a chair at gunpoint, Robbie quickly heads out in search of his next hostage.
With Roy out of the way, Robbie grabs Hayley and drags her to the factory. With that, he awaits Tony's arrival.
As Tony thanks Robbie for his undercover work, Carla and Hayley realise that they're in grave trouble. What does Tony have in store?
In court, Gail's defence begins, relying heavily on Anka - the eye witness that Nick and David bribed. However, when Anka gets cold feet and bolts, the Platts are crushed.
Later, Gail crumbles on the stand as the prosecution focuses on her turbulent relationship with Joe.
Siege Week continues tomorrow evening at 9pm on ITV1 and ITV1 HD.
Gail's trial takes a turn for the worse
Airs on Wednesday, June 2 2010 21:00 BST on ITV1
David defends Gail in the witness box.
Note the slightly later TX time of 9pm.
When Tony reveals that he intends to kill Carla and Hayley, a desperate Carla attempts to drive a wedge between Tony and Robbie. Capitalising on Tony's selfishness, Carla turns to Robbie and asserts that Tony will double-cross him.
At first Robbie laughs off the claim but when a row breaks out over money, both men go for the gun.
Maria unexpectedly turns up on the Street to tie up a few loose ends with Ladrags. Oblivious to the imminent danger, Maria heads to the factory but before she enters, she hears a gunshot ring out.
With one dead body on the floor, Tony warns the others that he's prepared to kill - and asks who's next?
Meanwhile, David takes to the stand in court and defends his mother's honour. Under cross-examination, though, a desperate David reveals that he sent the text and flowers 'from Joe' to Tina, not Gail. The QC pounces on his admission and David's quickly discredited as a reliable witness.
After the judge's summing up, the jury is sent away to deliberate the verdict. As Gail's taken down, David feels sick with dread - has he destroyed the only chance Gail had of a 'not guilty' verdict?
Siege Week continues tomorrow evening at 9pm on ITV1 and ITV1 HD.
Tony turns the gun on Maria
Airs on Thursday, June 3 2010 21:00 BST on ITV1
Maria is dragged into the factory by Tony and held at gunpoint.
Note the slightly later TX time of 9pm.
With one dead body on the floor, Tony points his gun at his next victim - just as Maria bangs on the factory door. Panicking, Tony hauls a horrified Maria inside.
Seeing the corpse of Tony's first target motionless on the floor, Maria's terrified as Tony demands to know why she's there - it wasn't part of his plan.
As Tony summons the courage to pull the trigger again, Maria's distress causes him to falter. Capitalising on his hesitation, Maria insists that it's not too late to let her walk out.
But as she inches towards the door, Tony levels his gun at her head and orders her to stop. Will he shoot?
Back in her cell, Gail's convinced that she'll be found guilty. And after a bitter row with Tina, David breaks down in Nick's arms, blaming himself for Gail's plight.
Elsewhere, Gary arrives home on leave; and Sean reveals that all his attempts to contact Violet have failed.
Tony causes Underworld to explode
Airs on Friday, June 4 2010 21:00 BST on ITV1
Tony plans to torch the factory.
Note the slightly later TX time of 9pm.
With Maria out of the way, Tony resumes his evil revenge plan and splashes petrol around the factory. When screams of fear are heard from down the Street, though, alarm bells begin ringing in the locals' minds.
Roy, Gary, Trev, Steve, Tyrone and Ashley attempt to break into the factory as a manic Tony sparks his lighter...
The police push the men back from the scene, insisting that a hostage team is on the way. However, as flames begin to engulf the building, it quickly becomes clear there's no time.
Inside the factory, an almighty struggle ensues as Tony's hostages fight for their lives. When more gunshots are heard, onlookers fear the worst.
Will anyone emerge alive as the factory begins to crumble?
I'm not really sure what I expected when I boarded the train for the screening this morning - all I knew was that I was going to watch some of the most expensive Coronation Street episodes ever made.
Despite turning up ten minutes late with the editors of DS sister publications Inside Soap and All About Soap - I blame Steve, by the way - the new set of credits were played as the montage transitioned into the Friday eps. I wasn't sure how different they'd be but knew for definite they'd include some chimney pots, a cat and various shots of the Street.
The new titles begin on the streets of Manchester and slowly draw onto Coronation Street with the standard chimneys and a ginger cat. Not only that, flapping pigeons have been added, along with someone (any guesses?) in their back garden hanging the washing out. Essentially, there's a lot more movement. Oh, and the theme tune's had a revamp - it's now apparently a lot closer to the original mix. Both credits and theme, however, will take a little getting used to.
After a montage of scenes from the five episodes, we were treated to the two full episodes from Friday's finale - and they didn't disappoint.
For me, the most worrying aspect was that producers would equate the 9pm timeslot with more violence, swearing and anything else they could get away with. But they didn't. The classic Corrie formula oozes throughout. Funny, character-driven scripts and fab acting from all concerned.
It has to be said, though, that the factory explosion at the end of the week isn't quite comparable to the spectacular Mad May Wright house blast in EastEnders a few years ago, but it's certainly the best Corrie's produced.
Talent-wise, Gray O'Brien was back on top form with his portrayal of even-more-unhinged-than-before-he-was-locked-away pshyco Tony Gordon, who's managed to escape from prison with the aid of his eccentric former cellmate Robbie Sloan - played by James Fleet. Tony has some cracking lines in the lead up to the fire but it's only when he begins reciting The Lord's prayer over and over that you realise he has a permanent screw loose.
Meanwhile, James Fleet brings a Roy Cropper-esque performance to the table as Robbie and it's a pleasant break from the 'norm' - the story certainly called for something a little different than we're used to. And Robbie's unmistakably 'different'. He's about as peculiar as Roy, just without the criminal record and violent tendencies. Check back in the coming days for a video interview with the former Vicar Of Dibley star.
Despite being tied to the chair for most of the week, Alison King stole the show as strong-minded businesswoman Carla Connor. Stepping up to the plate for the most physically and mentally demanding takes she's ever done, her scenes demonstrated why I think she should have a meatier role at the centre of the soap. Not like she needed to prove anything, though - she's always been excellent as Carla. But please - if you're reading Mr Producer - let's explore her backstory via her brother Darren. Let's see 'the other side' of the Mrs Connor we all know and love.
> Click here to read my recent interview with Alison King
And finally, special mentions must go to Julie Hesmondhalgh, David Neilson and Katherine Kelly for their stints as Hayley, Roy and Becky. Cracking as always.
So in all, it's a week of Corrie not to be missed - and a strong way to kick off its 50th anniversary build-up. And I'm told there's a lot more to come.
Big thanks to Chris Allen for filming the interviews. Check back in over the coming days to see the fruits of our time with the cast.
Coronation Street's siege airs all next week from Monday at 7pm and 9pm, then nightly at 9pm on ITV1 and ITV HD.
Coronation Street actress Samia Smith insists that her character Maria Connor "feels nothing but hatred" for former screen lover Tony Gordon.
Next week, Maria returns to the cobbles in order to resolve business dealings with Carla (Alison King) and finalise the sale of her house to Dev and Sunita.
While home, however, she becomes embroiled in Tony's dramatic return to Weatherfield and finds herself trapped in Underworld as a hostage.
Speaking of Maria and Tony's relationship, Smith said: "I think Maria genuinely loved Tony. I don't think she feels anything but hatred for him now. She's quite sad thinking about what might have been with him because she actually thought she'd got it all sussed - that she was going to be with him and he was going to be a father to Liam. Her world ended when she found out that he'd murdered her husband."
Oh her return, she added: "I kind of guessed that something would have to happen because I had to leave quite quickly because I was due to give birth any second before I left! I knew it would be something quite big that would bring her back at the same time as Tony."
Coronation Street actress Julie Hesmondhalgh has admitted that she was made up to discover she was involved in the factory siege storyline.
The 40-year-old's character Hayley Cropper finds herself being held at gunpoint in Underworld during Tuesday evening's instalment, having been lured there by Tony Gordon's accomplice Robbie Sloan (James Fleet).
Seeing her boss Carla Connor (Alison King) bound and gagged to her desk chair, Hayley realises that something's amiss, but starts to panic when Robbie holds the barrel of a gun to her head.
Hayley and Carla's night soon takes a turn for the worse when Tony (Gray O'Brien) turns up at the factory, hell-bent on revenge.
Speaking of her involvement with the storyline, Hesmondhalgh told DS: "I was very excited to be involved in some kind of action drama because that's not my normal place in the show - I'm usually behind a knicker machine or serving butties - so yeah, it was great! I was excited about it but also a little apprehensive because it sounded like a big story, which means long hours, which means being tired... and we're all basically really, really lazy!
Teasing her character's fate, she added: "[Hayley] doesn't make it to the end, that's all I'll say. Whether that's because she escapes, is rescued or is murdered by one of the many psychopaths who are running around Weatherfield at this particular time... I can't reveal - but yes, she's not there to the bitter end."
James Fleet has jokingly criticised Coronation Street bosses for an "unrealistic" element of soap's ongoing Siege Week storyline.
The actor, who guest stars all this week as Tony Gordon's henchman, claimed that his alter ego would never accept £2,000 to spring his former cellmate out of prison.
Speaking to The Mirror, he quipped: "I tried telling them it wasn't enough - it's got to be a five-figure sum to be realistic. Maybe it's just that times are hard for everyone at the moment - even crooks, it seems, are having their pay cut!"
Fleet had previously compared filming the special plot to being on a "movie set".
James Fleet has joked that he begged producers to edit scripts in order for his alter ego to stay on Coronation Street.
The actor, who recently guest starred as hitman Robbie Sloan for a short stint on the serial, had previously revealed that he enjoyed being on the show's movie-esque set.
Robbie played a pivotal role in the soap's Siege Week plot, which saw him get blown up a fortnight ago.
"I'm sad my character got killed off; I dropped so many hints and I was trying to rewrite the script all the way through," he told TV Times.
Fleet, who also portrayed Hugo Horton in classic sitcom The Vicar of Dibley, recently claimed that the Siege Week storyline was "unrealistic".

"Unrealistic"? Really, who'd have thought it?
