How do you think EastEnders would end?

it would have to be a huge storyline. maybe a few people in the square could get a deadly illness (like the plague was) and so they have to be quarantined in the square and would finally die and everyone else would have to move out to stop themselves catching it!!! :D
Saw this on another message board and the funniest response was:
"They could build a Tescos and the residents meet up in Tesco's cafe to say goodbye"

Maybe they'll all discover they are being filmed and meet up in the Vic to have a crisis talk about whether or not to turn off the camera then at the end they decide to turn the camera off?

It is weird though how you can end a great British Soap. Brookie has ended though but they weren't really a decent show when they stopped so they could get away with anything.

loads of other people would go to hell too, most of them have done something bad. if chrissies going to hell then johnny would be too so would dennis as theyve both killed someone

I've decided after much thinking Pauline Fowler goes on the rampage with her precious fruitbowl first victim Chrissie Watts for using her doorstop as a weapon soon everyone is dead except Dot who ends the show with one of her famous bible quotes smoking a fag and helping herself to a dry sherry in the empty pub awwwww sweet thoughts me will try and think of some more
Its weird to think, but someday its got to end. It will be so weird when at Tuesday 7:30 its watchdog instead of ee! Wonder how it will end. All the ideas on here are um....................interesting shall we say.

That'd be freaky! :lol: Blowing up the Mitchell's is a much better idea!
I like that idea because it'll probably end on something stupid anyways. It wouldn't be ending if it didn't go right down the pan etc so they can do just about anything on the final episode.

It's defo going to survive for another 20 years! :)
(I hope!!!!) It's still doing so well and despite some people saying it's been through the worst patch ever it's still come through the other end and remained one of the top soaps.

Good thread although it does make me sad to think eastenders would ever end , what would i do ? oh my god i hope it never does , i think it would be really hard to find a (realistic) way of ending it , because i cant see everyone dieing or it jus ENDING .... i dont know really its a never ending story it should just go on forever ....i can just imagine eastenders in the far far future with robots and stuff lol

Eastenders can;t end, if it does well all be lost and have to be forced to watch Corrie oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
If EastEnders HAD to end then it would be a huge storyline,like everyone going to the Vic for a party and then Ian would need to cook more food,so he goes upstairs into kitchen,starts to cook,then leave the cooker on while going to the basement to look for something.Then,somehow he finds Dens body,and theres a riot in the Vic,until Chrissie confesses it was her.Everybody swarms round Chrissie,ready to attack until...
They start to smell smoke and realise that Ian had left the cooker on.The whole pub goes up in flames and EVERYONE in the square dies.
At the end you see all the dogs,including Betty and Genghis,walking away from the square and into the sunshine!
