PC’s Lance Powell (Ofo Uharia) and Roger Valentine (John Bowler) are on patrol when they find schoolboy Liam Bryant (Christopher Pulford) shoved in a bin outside his school. Assuming he is being bullied as a result of his mum’s job, PCSO Laura Bryant (Melanie Kilburn) questions whether being in the force is really the career for her. She soon discovers that the bully, Will McCann (Austin Drage), is dealing drugs at school and she is determined to catch him. After making a citizen’s arrest, Laura’s mind is made up and she announces to Sergeant Dale Smith (Alex Wakinshaw) that she wants to train to become a PC. Will he back her?
Ex-flame Jonathan Fox (Larry Lamb) returns to Sun Hill and Inspector Gina Gold (Roberta Taylor) suspects he has come back to comfort her. She sounds off about her cancer only to find he had no idea. Will love blossom once again?
After wrecking DC Jo Masters' (Sally Rogers) relationship with super-grass Seth Mercer, DI Samantha Nixon (Lisa Maxwell) continues to wind her up by making snide remarks and fuelling an already volatile situation.
During DC Gary Best’s (Ciaran Griffiths) personal development review, DI Neil Manson (Andrew Lancel) puts pressure on him to drop the bullying accusations made to DC Susie Sim (Wendy Kweh). Will Gary make a formal complaint against the teachers pet even though it could wreck his career as well as hers?
PC Sheelagh Murphy (Bernie Nolan) returns from her community liaison course to find PC Gabriel Kent (Todd Carty) acting strangely around her. She decides to put any thoughts of romance behind her, but is thrown when Lance tells her Gabriel has missed her. When confronted, he tells her he is bad news and she shouldn’t get involved with him. Has Sheelagh’s attraction to angel Gabriel been rekindled and is he on the verge of confessing his murderous past?

PC Honey Harman (Kim Tiddy) returns to work after the shock suicide of her murderous husband, Scott. Paired with arch enemy PC Amber Johannsen (Myfanwy Waring) they investigate some criminal damage at a penthouse flat. Carly Brook, (Rebecca Clarke) the victim, appears to work in PR but is actually an escort. Seeing Carly's glamorous lifestyle, Amber, who's struggling with her own finances, considers Carly’s line of work. She finds a number of a local agency. Surely even Amber wouldn’t consider such a drastic move..?
Spiteful Amber pushes Honey too far with her snide remarks about Scott and the two women end up in a cat fight broken up by Sergeant Dale Smith (Alex Walkinshaw).
In a race against time, DC Zain Nadir (TJ Ramini) searches for Hannah Saunders (Natalie Taylor), a fourteen year old girl who has been chatting to a boy named ‘Lucas’ over the internet, before meeting up with him. The meeting is avoided and ‘Lucas’ turns out to be thirty-five year old Jeremy Kemp (Howard Teale). Is there enough evidence to charge him?
Elsewhere, villainous PC Gabriel Kent (Todd Carty), tormented by his guilty conscience, reveals to PC Sheelagh Murphy (Bernie Nolan) that he deliberately killed the Sun Hill sniper by pushing him off the roof. Confused and seeking reassurance, she speaks to PC Steve Hunter (James Lloyd), who witnessed most of the struggle, and concludes that Gabriel feels guilty because of the death of PC Kerry Young and his unborn child - not because he killed the sniper. Despite warning Sheelagh about Gabriel's dark past, Sergeant June Ackland (Trudie Goodwin) is sickened when she sees the two of them kissing. Is time finally running out for Gabriel now he has confessed one of his darkest secrets to Sheelagh?

I don't think that they will sort there differences out one of them will probably get a transfer if they continue to wind each other up

none of them have plans to leave so they proberly wint get a transfer no doubt it will end in a big dramatic conclusion where theyl realise something in a certain situation! the writers seem to love giving sam big dramatic conclusions to storylines proberly because she does them so well!
