It's pandemonium in Corrie's fictional prison in a fortnight's time when Becky McDonald comes to blows with her husband's ex Tracy.

Steve's surprised to receive a visiting order from Tracy addressed to Becky and despite his warnings that she avoid the murderous Barlow, Becky's insistent - she's wants to attend the visit to see what she wants.

Expecting the chat to be about Amy, Becky's shocked when Tracy lays an offer on the table: she'll give the adoption agency a good reference so long as Amy remains a Barlow and Steve writes to her governor insisting that Amy needs to see more of her.

Insults - and fists - soon begin to fly.

These scenes air on Monday, May 17 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.

Becky lashes out at Tracy
Airs on Monday, May 17 2010 19:30 BST on ITV1
By Kris Green, Soaps Editor

Becky and Tracy come to blows.
Steve's shocked to receive a visiting order from Tracy that's addressed to Becky. Presuming that she wants to talk about Amy, Becky agrees to go along. Before she leaves, though, Steve warns her that Tracy's a manipulative liar. Becky, however, is convinced that she can handle her.

At the prison, Tracy calmly makes Becky an offer - she'll give the adoption agency a good reference so long as Amy remains a Barlow and Steve writes to her governor insisting that Amy needs to see more of her. When Becky questions her commitment to Amy, insults begin to fly.

Losing her temper, Becky lunges over the table and grabs Tracy by her hair. As the guard drags Becky away, she shouts that Tracy can forget seeing Amy from now on.

With that, Tracy promptly retorts that she and Steve can kiss goodbye to their chances of adopting.

In her cell, Tracy plays it cool with Gail, while back on the Street, David has his eye fixed on the trial date. However, when David sees Gail's job being advertised at the surgery and hears Nick discussing financing the house, he worries that everyone presumes his mother will be sent down.

Meanwhile, when Liz admits that she had a hand in Teresa's departure, Lloyd presumes that she wants to rekindle their romance. But as he begins to let her down gently, Liz assures him that he has the wrong end of the stick and wishes him luck with Cheryl.

Elsewhere, Roy apologises to Hayley but still doesn't understand why she's so upset about his unromantic proposal; and Lloyd's delighted when he wins the taxi contract for Cheryl's strip club Secrets.

Becky and Steve argue over Tracy
Airs on Monday, May 17 2010 20:30 BST on ITV1

As Steve tries to ascertain what happened at the prison with Tracy, Deirdre storms into the pub, claiming that Becky has no right to stop Amy seeing her mother. Taken aback, Steve apologises for Becky's outburst and insists that she didn't mean what she said.

With Deirdre gone, Becky accuses Steve of siding with the Barlows, before pointing out that she's the one looking after Amy, not Tracy. A public row breaks out and Steve's furious that Becky's playing right into Tracy's hands - and yet again, Becky's temper could potentially risk them losing everything.

A bitter Becky bites back, reminding Steve that while he'll always have a child with Tracy, she's now unlikely to ever be the mother of his child.

Meanwhile, as David begins collecting signatures for his 'Free Gail' campaign, he's surprised when Nick backs him and suggests calling a journalist from the Gazette to report on their story.

Elsewhere, Nick and Carla are relieved when he arranges a meeting with a potential new client; Roy and Hayley row about the wedding, prompting Roy to admit that he wish he'd never mentioned it; Lloyd's smitten with Cheryl but can't quite find the words to tell her; and Hayley's forced to go along with a downbeat Roy when he retracts his proposal.

Tracy turns the screw on Gail
Airs on Thursday, May 20 2010 20:30 BST on ITV1

Gail breaks down when she hears the case against her.
The Gazette journalist laps up Gail's story and David and Nick are heartened by his interest. However, when the journalist reveals that he's legally bound not to print anything until after the trial, their hopes are dashed. Meanwhile, as Gail meets with her legal team, she's upset as they outline the prosecution's case.

Back in her cell, Gail admits to Tracy that she feels like she's fighting a losing battle. Sensing Gail's vulnerability, Tracy advises that she'd potentially be handed a lighter sentence if she pleaded guilty. Gail's horrified.

Seething by Gail's reaction, Tracy calls Glynn and Carr, claiming that Gail has confessed to killing Joe and insists that she'll repeat what she said in court if they assure her that her situation will be reassessed.

The police are non-committal, though - until Tracy reveals that Gail hit Joe with a rolling pin, cleaned it and hid it behind the wardrobe at the cottage. All ears, Glynn and Carr agree to check it out.

Meanwhile, Becky's giving Steve the silent treatment but while alone with Liz, it's clear that she's upset. As Becky wonders if she was never meant to have a child, Liz urges her not to lose faith.

Later, Deirdre reveals that she's convinced Tracy to send Becky another visiting order so they can resolve their differences for Amy's sake. Frustrated with the pair of them, Liz orders Becky and Steve to kiss and make up.

Elsewhere, Izzy helps Kirk prepare for his interview at the factory; and with Graeme by her side, Tina manages a walk out of the flat but isn't ready to face anyone else.

Gail's horrified to learn of Tracy's lie
Airs on Friday, May 21 2010 19:30 BST on ITV1

Gail is shocked to discover that Tracy set her up.
At the cottage in the Lakes, Glynn and Carr find the rolling pin that Tracy claimed Gail used to murder Joe.

Later, Gail's horrified when her solicitor questions her about Tracy's statement. Terrified, Gail insists that Tracy's lying but suddenly remembers telling Tracy an anecdote about the rolling pin and the penny suddenly drops - Tracy's stitching her up.

As a devastated Gail calls her family, she reveals that Tracy's twisted her words in order to make her sound guilty. Furious, David storms across to The Rovers where the Barlows are enjoying a peaceful drink.

Raging, David explains to a shocked Deirdre and Ken how Tracy claims that Gail confessed to Joe's murder. With that, David insists they force Tracy to tell the truth - or he'll be gunning for them.

Meanwhile, as Steve and Becky visit Tracy in prison, they agree to remain united for Amy's sake. Happier after bartering a deal with the police, Tracy suggests that she's willing to forget what happened earlier in the week if Becky apologises.

Although it grates on her, Becky reluctantly says sorry and assures Tracy that she has no intention of preventing her from seeing Amy. Appeased, Tracy informs them that she'll give them a good reference for their adoption if she's guaranteed regular access to Amy and that she remains a Barlow. Backed into a corner, Steve hesitantly agrees.

Elsewhere, Kirk messes up his interview at Underworld; Roy's not happy when Hayley tells him about the salsa dress she's going to buy; Izzy lays into Carla on Kirk's behalf; Tina's in a state when she hears that she has to testify at Gail's trial; Rosie agrees to a drink with Graeme; and Roy rains on Hayley's parade when he forces her to send the salsa dress back.

Graeme blows his chances with Rosie
Airs on Friday, May 21 2010 20:30 BST on ITV1

Graeme begs Rosie for another chance after standing her up.
As Ken and Deirdre insist that David's lying to protect Gail, David becomes angrier and angrier with them, prompting Peter to step in. Backing his brother, Nick squares up to Peter and it's left to Audrey to steer her grandsons away from the melee.

Back at the Platts', David contacts Gail's solicitor but the news isn't good: with Tracy's claim that Gail confessed, alongside the discovery of the supposed murder weapon, it's touch and go for her freedom.

As the solicitor explains that it'll be down to who the jury believes, Graeme and David stumble on an idea - they need to find a false witness who'll claim that Gail wasn't anywhere near Joe when he died.

Meanwhile, en route to his date with Rosie, Graeme pops in to check on Tina. He's worried, though, to find her in a state as the police have informed her that she must give evidence in court.

Insisting he's there for her, Graeme stands Rosie up in order to comfort Tina. His work finally done, Graeme rushes into the pub where he finds an irate Rosie. Furious at being stood up, Rosie explains that he's blown his one and only chance with her, leaving Graeme gutted.

Elsewhere, Carla asks Izzy to apply for the machinist job; Hayley fumes when Roy announces he's spending money to attend a train convention; Izzy passes the sewing test, bagging the Underworld job; and Kirk's thrilled when Carla offers him a temporary position in the packing department.

I've read in Inside Soap that Roy forces Hayley to send her salsa dress back because of the expense, but it later turns out that he's spent money on a train conference (or something like that), so she's rightly livid.
