Emily Symons has confirmed that she would not rule out a return to ITV soap Emmerdale in the future.
The actress is currently busy working on Home and Away in Sydney after reprising her role as dizzy Marilyn Fisher.
However, discussing the possibility of a comeback as Emmerdale barmaid Louise Appleton, Symons told TV Week: "I always say, 'Never say never', because every plan I've ever made has never turned out the way I thought it would."
Discussing her Dales stint further, she said: "I felt like a fish out of water on my first day on Emmerdale and nearly had a nervous breakdown, but I met interesting, funny people.
"It's hard, though, because you miss a lot of family milestones when you're away for so long."
Symons also insisted that she does not see herself leaving Summer Bay any time soon. She said: "Home and Away is my commitment at the moment, and Marilyn is in the Bay to stay."
The 40-year-old left Emmerdale in 2008 to spend more time with her family in Australia.
