TORMENTED Emmerdale teen Aaron Livesy will try to kill himself when he faces being outed as gay.
First he punches new boyfriend Jackson Walsh to stop him telling all about their relationship - landing him in trouble with cops.

He then realises questions will be asked - so when officers release him he decides to gas himself in his car rather than see the truth emerge.

Actor Danny Miller, 19, who plays Aaron, told TV Biz: "It's make or break time but Aaron is terrified of what the future holds, and he feels ending it all is the only way out. It's like he's been backed into a corner."

Luckily Aaron is rescued by pal Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) and uncle Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley). They break down the garage door and drag Aaron out of the motor and on to the forecourt.

Aaron is left fighting for his life in hospital as his mum Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) keep a vigil at his bedside.

But when he finally comes round he is still terrified of people finding out - especially now his mum and Uncle Cain know his secret.

Danny added: "He feels a mixture of raw emotions really. Scared, angry, depressed.

"He tells Paddy he wishes he was dead.

"Ironically, this marks the start of Aaron's journey, not the end as he intended.

"He's going to have to come to terms with who he is."

The scenes will air on the ITV1 soap later this month.

Emmerdale character Aaron Livesy will try to kill himself in an upcoming episode.

Aaron, played by Danny Miller, will make the suicide attempt to stop people discovering that he is gay, The Sun reports.

He punches his new boyfriend Jackson Walsh to stop him revealing their relationship, meaning that he gets in trouble with the police. When he is released, he decides to gas himself in his car to stop people asking questions about his sexuality.

"It's make or break time, but Aaron is terrified of what the future holds, and he feels ending it all is the only way out," Miller explained. "It's like he's been backed into a corner."

Aaron is rescued and taken to hospital, where he eventually comes round. However, he still fears that people will find out that he is gay.

"He feels a mixture of raw emotions, really," Miller continued. "Scared, angry, depressed. He tells Paddy he wishes he was dead.

"Ironically, this marks the start of Aaron's journey, not the end as he intended. He's going to have to come to terms with who he is."

The scenes will air later this month.

Carl's shocked by Colleen's revelation

Airs on Monday, April 19 2010 at 19:00 BST on ITV1

Carl and Chas share a worried look when Colleen arrives asking for a private word. He's horrified when Colleen goes on to reveal that she wants Tom and Anya to move to Saudi with her.

Shocked by the bombshell, Carl relays the news to Chas but claims that he's got used to having them around, before insisting that they're staying with him. Will Carl persuade Colleen to change her mind?

Meanwhile, Aaron's horrified when Adam turns up at the garage and awkwardly tells him they're mates regardless of his sexuality. Aaron's hostile attitude prompts Adam to leave, frustrated that his friend won't let him help. Will Aaron open up to Adam?

Elsewhere, Lisa worries when Sam shows no sign of forgiving, so insists that Zak has a quiet word. Sam, however, leaves Zak shaken when he coldly warns that he no longer wants anything to do with him.

Also, Charity's relieved when Cain thinks they should quit their life of crime; Diane's tiring of Val's pleas for her to give into her feelings for Doug, insisting they are nothing more than friends; and Natasha chases John for payment of the toxic spill clean up bill.

Natasha approaches the Sharmas with an idea

Airs on Tuesday, April 20 2010 at 19:00 BST on ITV1

Wary of Carl's plans to speak with a solicitor about retaining custody of his children, Chas urges him to speak with Colleen and tell the kids what's really going on.

As he puts forward an emotional-yet-biased plea, Thomas and Anya feel pressured and they awkwardly choose Carl to live with. Carl's elated, while Chas is left feeling unsettled. Is it that easy for Carl? Do the children really want to stay with him?

Meanwhile, Adam's concerned when Aaron angrily snaps at Andy. When Paddy visits Butlers, Adam decides to tell him about seeing Aaron kissing a man. At that point, Paddy suddenly realises why Aaron's been so angry since that night.

Paddy points out to Adam why Aaron wouldn't want his friends to know and warns Adam to honour his friend's wish to keep it a secret. Will Adam keep the incident to himself?

Elsewhere, Faye kindly offers to loan some money to Natasha but Natasha's furious when she realises it'd be the same money that she gave Faye to leave the village with.

Desperate, Natasha approaches the Sharmas to ask if they'd like to invest in her plans to expand Home Farm.

Also, Val apologises to Diane for prying but Diane admits that she likes Doug and the effect he has on Victoria.

Aaron punches Jackson in The Woolpack

Airs on Wednesday, April 21 2010 at 19:00 BST on ITV1

Aaron's furious when Paddy tells him about Adam's visit. Later at The Woolpack, he awkwardly wishes Adam happy birthday but is horrified when Jackson arrives. Aaron reluctantly agrees to have a pint with him but is uncomfortable when Ryan asks to join them.

Aaron's anxiety is further heightened as the night progresses and he eventually insists that he and Jackson head into town. However, when Jackson touches Aaron on the back of the neck, Aaron overreacts. Scared of being outed - and as the locals look on - Aaron punches Jackson square in the face.

Back at Smithy, Paddy's at a loss when the police arrive and lead a terrified Aaron away. Will Aaron's secret be out?

Meanwhile, Jimmy and Chas discuss their concerns about Carl as he's clearly not putting his children's interests first.

Later, Thomas and Anya admit to Chas that they want to live with Colleen. Chas tries to comfort Carl but he blames her for causing them to change their minds.

Nikhil persuades Jai to consider Natasha's business proposition about Home Farm. Insisting on an answer in a couple of days, Natasha's irritated when they suggest asking a business associate to look over the figures.

Also, Nicola asks Scarlett to arrange the wedding invitations; and Doug and Diane feel guilty when Maisie walks in on them discussing Natasha's financial problems.

Aaron fights for his life

Airs on Thursday, April 22 2010 at 20:00 BST on ITV1

As the garage fills up with smoke, Aaron drifts out of consciousness. Paddy, meanwhile, tries to reassure a concerned Chas about Aaron's situation and they're grateful when Adam offers to look for him around the village.

Noticing smoke billowing from the garage, Adam rushes across and with Cain's help they force the doors open, pulling Aaron's lifeless body from the car. Cain races to retrieve Chas and Paddy who are horrified by the situation.

Adam desperately attempts to resuscitate Aaron as they all wait for the ambulance to arrive. Will Aaron pull through?

Meanwhile, Natasha's begrudgingly impressed by Declan's business strategy. He offers her a non-negotiable deal for a 51% share in Home Farm, leaving Natasha pensive about her future.

Later, Natasha agrees to Declan's offer and they toast their new partnership in The Woolpack. Will Declan turn out to be Natasha's knight in shining armour?

Elsewhere, as Nicola searches for Jimmy, Carl informs her that the children are leaving soon. Nicola joins in with their game on the Wii and Carl's surprised when she insists that he's done a good job raising the kids.

Also, John and Moira allow Holly to go out with Roz but John's anxious as he watches them leave; Charlie notices Diane's reluctance to condone his double date with Rodney; and Jimmy asks Carl to be his best man at the wedding.

Paddy's wracked with guilt

Airs on Friday, April 23 2010 at 19:00 BST on ITV1

Paddy and Chas hold vigil at Aaron's bedside, praying for him to pull through. Adam, meanwhile, is devastated to realise that his best mate was so desperate to escape his problems that he wanted to die.

On edge, a furious Chas tells Paddy it's his fault that Aaron tried to kill himself. The pair argue, before Cain intervenes them. As he does, Cain's stunned when Chas reveals that Aaron is gay.

At Aaron's bedside, Paddy refuses to accept responsibility for the suicide attempt but when Chas forces him to leave, Paddy's wracked with guilt. Will Aaron wake up and blame Paddy?

Meanwhile, Carl's devastated when Colleen arrives to take the kids. With that, Carl's forced to say goodbye to Thomas and Anya, while a concerned Jimmy watches on.

Elsewhere, Natasha's relieved when Declan announces that their deal has been signed, sealed and delivered. Later, Natasha makes a point of introducing her handsome new business partner to a nosey Faye.

Also, the news of Aaron's suicide attempt has spread through the village and speculation is rife at why he would want to end his life; John's suspicious of Holly's thirst following her night out; and Gennie feels guilty when she and Jamie win Bob's lottery.
