Their first proper group meal in ages could also be the Housemates' last meal together. The coming eviction and the divide over food rationing means their shared meals are numbered.
Roberto used the emergency rations supplied by a generous Big Brother to prepare a hearty soup for the team to stoke them up for the big night ahead.
And for a moment, peace descended over the House. The two food factions sat down together to stuff their faces and the sound of munching replaced the clamour of bitching.
When this week's food rations arrive, the Housemates will cook in separate groups and may not eat together at all.
It's a shame because food can be a great leveller. The excellent meal even prompted Makosi to say something nice to Roberto. She told him, "I'll have to wear my magic knickers 'cos I'm so full," which confused the chef somewhat. Makosi explained she has some support pants that she uses to hold in her tummy in.
"But one face was missing from the happy family unit. Lesley elected at first not to try Roberto's soup and then ate alone in the bedroom.
In the Diary Room she told Big Brother, "I think I will go," meaning she thinks she will be evicted.
"I've been the bitch, I've upset people, and I've started rows over stupid things," she admitted. "That's who I am."
