Sneaky snacker Derek was up with the lark this morning and made a beeline for the cornflakes as his hungry fellow Housemates slept on unawares.
With food supplies at an all time low, he who rises first in the Big Brother House gets first pickings on the little food there is left. Derek discovered a taste for dry cornflakes in a surreptitious snack attack last night, and this morning his appetite was still going strong.
Eye's darting around the kitchen, Derek crept towards his prey like a hungry hawk. He swooped on the cornflake container and began to gobble down the contents, pouring the cereal directly from the container into his mouth. Manners, Derek!
In the Diary Room the undercover muncher was entirely unsympathetic about his hungry, grumpy Housemates. "It is entirely their fault," he said, wiping contraband cornflakes from the corners of his mouth, "Why eat nine biscuits when you can eat three?" he asked.
He's got no fearDerek seems philosophical about the looming eviction. "I'm not scared about what lies ahead," he told Big Brother.
Surprisingly, despite moaning about his Housemates' terrible poor hygiene skills, he says he would miss their "idiosyncrasies," particularly Lesley's voice, and Vanessa's sugar addiction apparently!
If Derek is leaves tonight, he's looking forward to watching the tennis.
If you see Derek at Wimbledon, I'd keep a close eye on your strawberries if I were you!
