David and Audrey visit Gail in prison

Airs on Monday, March 22 2010 at 19:30 GMT on ITV1

Nick finds himself on the wrong side of Carla when he's caught in a scuffle with David and Jason. Following the spat, Nick chooses to stay at the factory while David and Audrey visit a fragile Gail in prison.

The visit, however, doesn't go quite to plan as when Audrey begins pushing Gail for more information about Joe's death, Gail loses her temper.

Things go from bad to worse for Gail when she receives more visitors than she bargained for and is introduced to her new cellmate Lyn.

Meanwhile, back on the Street, Molly and Tyrone inform Pam that they're back together. An over-excited Tyrone goes one step too far, though, and announces Molly's pregnancy to Bill. An alarming reaction from Bill causes Kevin to panic. Is this the final straw for Bill? Will the truth finally surface?

John looks forward to starting his new teaching job but tension is high as he worries that his lies will be exposed.

Elsewhere, Janice starts to worry about her figure after a careless comment from Trevor. It's clear that his opinion matters and that she sees him as more than just a lodger.

David comes to blows with Audrey and Nick

Airs on Monday, March 22 2010 at 20:30 GMT on ITV1

Audrey desperately clambers to reassure Gail that she doesn't think that her own daughter's capable of murder, but Gail's heard enough.

David's protective of his mother and accuses Audrey and Nick of thinking Gail is responsible for Joe's death. Will the warring family be able to put their personal differences to one side for Gail's sake?

Meanwhile, Janice continues in vain to impress Trevor with a low-calorie meal. Feeling bad about his comments, though, Trevor backtracks and insists that he wasn't implying anything by his remark.

Janice, however, covers and pretends that her new healthy lifestyle has nothing to do with him.

Molly sits at home and struggles for words as she writes a letting to Tyrone. Will she really break his heart once again?

Elsewhere, Jason and Tina receive news that the offer on the flat has been withdrawn. With that, a plan forms in Tina's mind.

Norris catches Lewis and Audrey kissing

Airs on Thursday, March 25 2010 at 00:01 GMT on ITV1

When Gail calls David to tell him that she'll not be released from prison for months until her case reaches court, David confronts Nick over why he's not showing any support to their mother.

Realising that he has to do something to help, David resolves to return to the lakes and visit the couple who witnessed Gail and Joe's final row. Before leaving, he pleads with Graeme to go with him on his truth-finding mission.

Meanwhile, Lewis pays a friendly visit to the salon, much to Audrey's delight. When he's leaving, though, a nosey Norris catches him sharing a goodbye kiss with her and takes a photo on his camera phone. Will Norris be able to keep this gossip to himself?

Julie tries to talk Eileen into giving Jesse another chance but she's shocked when Jesse catches her alone in the house and makes a pass at her - can she let Eileen take him back now?

Elsewhere, romance appears to blossom for Rosie as she plans a date with a footballer. But will Graeme's charm persuaded her to play closer to home?

David tries to help Gail by returning to the Lakes

Airs on Friday, March 26 2010 at 19:30 GMT on ITV1

Nick's furious when David steals his car in his bid to track down Jane and Mark Kenworthy at the lakes - the couple who saw Gail and Joe's final moments together.

Finding the couple in a local pub, David quizzes them about the argument they witnessed between Gail and Joe, before becoming aggressive about their statement to police. Will David uncover any useful information that will help his mother?

Meanwhile, Jesse attempts to convince Eileen to give him another chance. As Eileen begins to soften towards him, Julie's still reeling that he made a pass at her the previous day. Will Julie let the cat out of the bag, or will Eileen fall for him again?

Sunita helps Dev at the shop and begins making business deal with suppliers. Although they're beneficial for the business, it looks like it could be too much too soon for Dev.

Elsewhere, Sian returns to the street and with Ryan's help, she sets Sophie up on a date with a guy called Lee.

Sophie's date with Lee goes awry

Airs on Friday, March 26 2010 at 20:30 GMT on ITV1

Sunita pushes Dev to let her and the twins move back in, pointing out how far away their school is. Feeling pressured, Dev reluctantly agrees.

Is this the start of a new family life for Dev? Or will Dev regret his decision once the twins begin to run amok in his pristine flat?

Meanwhile, David's meeting with Mark and Jane doesn't go well when a threatened Mark calls the police. Although David and Graeme make a run for it, the police soon catch up with them at No. 8. Will David be joining Gail in prison? Or will he find an unlikely ally in the shape of his older brother?

Lee makes a pass at Sophie but she's horrified by his rapid advances and rushes off, leaving Sian concerned for her best friend.

Audrey confides in Rita that Lewis is an escort. Rita's shocked, yet worried, that her friend is heading for an almighty fall. Can Audrey persuade her that she's in full control of the situation?

Elsewhere, Eileen throws Jesse out on his ear.

The team behind forthcoming horror movie Splintered have revealed their joy after arranging for the film to be featured in two episodes of Coronation Street.

In instalments which air on Friday, Weatherfield's Sophie Webster (Brooke Vincent) and future love interest Sian Powers (Sacha Parkinson) will be seen watching the spooky tale during an awkward double date with their respective boyfriends.

Splintered director Simeon Halligan commented: "I'm really chuffed Splintered plays a key role in Friday's episode of Coronation Street.

"What's ironic is that the background story in Splintered is about coming to terms with your own sexuality, which nicely echoes Corrie's Sophie Webster as she begins to realise her own sexual identity."

Meanwhile, the film's producer Rachel Richardson Jones said: "It's undoubtedly tough to compete in the UK film industry. You have to make the most of every potential plug, so we jumped at the chance to showcase Splintered on the soap."

Splintered, which was created by Manchester-based production company Not A Number, has already been screened at film festivals but will get an official cinema release in July. Coincidentally, its central character is a troubled teen named Sophie.
