EASTENDER Shane Richie has landed a mission before he heads back to Albert Square - a trip to the ARCTIC CIRCLE.
The star, who will return as Alfie Moon later this year, heads the cast of a new ITV show jokily nicknamed I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Brrrrrr...
The show - real name 71 Degrees North - is the reverse of jungle-themed I'm A Celeb. It swaps baking summer sunshine in Oz for freezing near the North Pole in winter.
Leslie Garrett, Andrew Castle and Konnie HuqShane, 45, and nine other celebs will perform Bushtucker Trial-style tasks in northern Norway.
The other stars include ex-EastEnder Joe Absolom, Footballers' Wives star Suzy Amy, bra boss Michelle Mone, opera singer Leslie Garrett, presenters Konnie Huq and Andrew Castle and three more unnamed celebs.
They will be split into teams to trek 2,000 miles and carry out tasks ranging from riding a dog sled to diving into a frozen lake.
The ten stars are whittled down to one winner with votes cast by the contestants themselves.
Kate Thornton and Gethin Jones will host the show, which is filmed in advance.
The celebs head off in the next few days and the show will start in Spring.
