Peter Andre is reportedly in talks to star in West End musical Grease.
According to The Sun, the 36-year-old singer-turned-presenter is being lined up to play Danny Zuko, a role made famous by John Travolta.
Reports suggest that Andre recently told the cast he would love to join them, and bosses have apparently since contacted his management about a possible role.
A friend of the 'Insania' singer is quoted as saying: "Pete has had lots of offers from musicals but Grease is one of his favourites. He loves the character of Danny and he's confident that he will be able to play him - even if only for a short stint."
They added: "His diary is pretty chocker at the moment so it wouldn't be until next year."
Patrick Swayze, David Hasselhoff, Richard Gere and Ray Quinn have all previously taken on the role. Noel Sullivan of Hear'Say fame is currently starring as Danny at London's Piccadilly Theatre.
