EastEnders star Barbara Windsor has been named on a list honouring 125 'Ladies of Today'.
The 72-year-old actress, who plays the iconic role of Peggy Mitchell, features on the list alongside the Queen, dance guru Arlene Phillips and artist Tracey Emin.
The list was created by weekly women's magazine The Lady to mark its 125th anniversary. Those featured are deemed "intelligent, empowered and inspirational" by the publication.
Others to secure recognition from the magazine include the Duchess of Cornwall, celebrity chef Nigella Lawson and actresses Dame Judi Dench, Julie Walters and Dame Helen Mirren.
Revealing how the finalists were chosen, The Lady's editor Rachel Johnson said: "This is not a scientific list, nor are these your usual run of females - we haven't chosen them for their looks, vital statistics [or] reality TV careers, but because we think these are women who think not 'what can I get out of this?' but 'what can I put in?'."
Windsor, who is bowing out of her Albert Square role this year, was honoured with Digital Spy's first ever Soap Icon award last December.
