You know this reminds me off my big sister's wedding 30 years ago. The wedding was in November and she was all dressed in white. We were all waiting outside the register office for her to arrive when my Aunt Peggy appeard dressed in a brown duffle coat and red wellington boots pulling her shopping trolley. She said to my Mum. I'd thought I would pop and do my shopping before the wedding. She looked like Paddington Bear. My Mum was mortified. :rotfl::rotfl:

Lucy makes a surprise discovery

Airs on Monday, March 1 2010 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

While Jane's concerned about Ian's court appearance, Lucy and Peter are more bothered about their love lives. Peter's pining for Zsa Zsa, while Lucy's longing for Leon. When Ian returns, he reveals that he was handed a suspended sentence and a community order, therefore his birthday celebrations can go ahead as planned. Later, Lucy spots two tickets to Spain in Jane's handbag, while a downbeat Jane discusses how their status as potential adoptees will have been affected by Ian's run-in with the law. Later, Lucy causes trouble over dinner and rips up the plane tickets, before rushing up the stairs. Following her step-daughter, Jane's gobsmacked when Lucy reveals that she's pregnant.

Meanwhile, Bianca's initially unsettled by Whitney and Billie's relationship, but soon begins to think that it could be a good move for her step-daughter. Carol, however, isn't as positive when she realises that Billie's skipped college to spend time with Whitney. When Whitney discovers that Billie lied to her about his college commitments, the pair row and he storms off. Despite Zsa Zsa's suggestion to leave Billie be, Whitney heads to his estate where she bumps into a couple of his old friends Kylie and Connor. To Whitney's horror, though, they attack her and film the incident on their phones. After the beating, the pair demand that Whitney ask Billie to return their gun.

Also, Zainab urges Masood to tell the truth about the missing post that Tamwar found under their sofa. Masood, however, admits to the one-off gambling but maintains that he's not responsible for the post theft situation. When Masood returns from work having been cleared of any wrongdoing, Zainab's livid. With that, she confronts Masood again over the letters that were found in their house. Masood calls on Billy to back up his claim that he only gambled once, but Billy claims that he didn't see Masood gambling on the night of Ricky's stag do. With tension still fraught in the house, Masood decides to sleep on the sofa again.

Elsewhere, Max continues to struggle with Bradley's death; Shirley manages to persuade headmaster Mr Alcock to give Zsa Zsa a space at the local school but Zsa Zsa's reluctant; Carol rethinks her plans to take Billie back to Balham when she sees the state of her brother Max; Liz and Patrick reminisce about their respective sons, much to Lucas's annoyance; Zsa Zsa changes her mind about school when she sees a handsome Mr Alcock running around at Leon's football match; Patrick calls Owen's mobile phone company pretending to be Owen and discovers for Liz that Owen's not used his mobile since November.

Whitney discovers that Billie has a gun

Airs on Tuesday, March 2 2010 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Billie turns up at Pat's house wanting to speak to Whitney but she's still annoyed with him. When she heads upstairs to get ready for work, Billie rushes to the cupboard under the stairs and pulls out a bag. Catching him red-handed, Whitney questions what's in the bag but quickly regrets asking when she looks down to see Billie handling a gun. Panicking, Whitney suggests that he get rid of the weapon as soon as possible. Later, Carol tracks down Billie to let him know that they're returning to their old flat to retrieve the rest of their belongings. Billie's initially reluctant but when he sees the video of Whitney being attacked on his phone, he decides he has to go back to the estate. At the council estate, Billie tells his friends that they were out of order to attack Whitney the way they did, before informing them that he's disposed of the gun. Billie walks away with his head held high, but they seem sure that he'll soon return.

Meanwhile, Lucy's eating her breakfast when Jane decides to ask about the father of her baby. Lucy admits that Leon's the father and suggests that Jane be the one to break the 'happy news' to Ian. Knowing how Ian will react, Jane skirts around Ian for the remainder of the day as she's concerned about ruining his relationship with his daughter by dropping the pregnancy bombshell on him. With that thought in her mind, Jane suggests to Lucy that she could have an abortion without Ian knowing about the pregnancy…

Carol moves the remainder of her belongings into Max's house and Billy walks past, liking what he sees. Masood notices Billy's eyes light up at the sight of Carol and suggests that he ask Carol out for a drink. Embarrassed for Billy - and fed up of Max's moping - Carol agrees and the pair head to the Argee Bargee together. Later, Carol's surprised to see Billy rushing out of the Masoods'. After their meal, Billy walks Carol home and hands her a 'Good Luck In Your New Home' card. With that, Billy's left on the doorstep in his element after a goodnight kiss.

Elsewhere, Masood tries to smooth things over with Zainab but she demands that he hand back the stolen post; Lucas is shocked to hear that Patrick and Liz are planning on reporting Owen's disappearance to the police; Zsa Zsa's hell-bent on causing trouble for Shirley as she tries her best to secure her niece a place at the local school; Masood fears that he's lost Zainab's trust but doesn't want to implicate himself in the post thief's crime; Lucas manages to talk Liz out of reporting Owen's disappearance to the police; Shirley's surprised that Phil's helping to land Zsa Zsa a place at the local school; after praying at the unit, Masood's taken aback when Jane walks in with more missing post; Masood offers to look after baby Kamil if Zainab wants to return to work at the unit; and the real post thief is revealed…

Lucy makes Jane an offer she can't refuse

Airs on Thursday, March 4 2010 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Jane sifts through the morning's post and finds a letter confirming Lucy's appointment at the abortion clinic. As Peter prepares to leave for school, he throws a stack of papers into his bag - including Lucy's letter - and heads out for the day. Jane realises that the letter's missing, but by that point, it's too late. At the Launderette, the side-effects of pregnancy begin to take their toll on Lucy when she starts throwing up over Heather's pile of laundry. Watching how Heather is with George causes Lucy to start thinking about what's to come and her potential future.

Later, Peter finds Lucy in the park and questions her about the clinic letter that he accidentally packed into his bag earlier that morning. With that, the pair start skirting around the subject of her being pregnant and it's clear that they have no idea about what the best decision is for her to make. They do, however, enjoy sharing a grown-up brother-sister moment. A plan formulating in her mind, Lucy returns home. Knowing that Jane desperately wants a baby, she makes a shocking suggestion - Jane could finally have the baby she's always wanted…

Meanwhile, Max struggles with his speech for Bradley's funeral. Carol can see her brother's pain and tries to support him through the difficult time. Max, however, is distant as he misses Tanya. Seeing Max's pain, Jane offers Max a shoulder to cry on and motivated by her words, his dark mood lifts slightly. Later, Billie tells a furious Carol that he's dropped out of college. Carol believes Whitney to be responsible for his decision and suggests that he find a job quickly. Returning to the house with the weekly shop, Carol's pleasantly surprised to see Max and Jack shaking hands but she's less than impressed when Billie turns up with Whitney for dinner. Carol also learns that Whitney's helping Billie to land a job on the market.

Elsewhere, Zsa Zsa receives a letter from her mother asking her to join her in Spain; Liz continues her quest to track down Owen, while Lucas suggests that Patrick should take her away for a while; Jean's distraught over Stacey's disappearance; Shirley's surprised when Zsa Zsa makes an effort with baby George and allows her to stay; Becca hands Max a bottle of vodka; and Lucas's mind goes into overdrive when Liz mentions that Owen never fails to send her a bouquet of flowers for her birthday.

It's the day of Bradley's funeral

Airs on Friday, March 5 2010 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

It's the day of Bradley's funeral and while Dot sits praying at home, the hearse containing the coffin draws onto the Square, silencing the market. Max tries to knot his tie, while Carol attempts to comfort her brother who's visibly distraught by the prospect of the day ahead. As he leaves the house, Max fills his hipflask with the vodka Becca bought him the day before. Max's mood is lifted slightly by Abi's arrival - she's resolved to help him through one of his darkest ever days. The Slaters, meanwhile, worry over Stacey's whereabouts and all hope that she'll put in an appearance at the funeral. Jean sees red, though, when Becca emerges from the house wearing one of Stacey's dresses. Charlie and Mo haul Jean off Becca, before they all head off to the funeral.

Later, Max is upset that Tanya hasn't turned up for the service, which soon gets under way. As Max begins to recite his speech, Bradley's tearful mother Rachel runs down the aisle into Max's arms. With Rachel crying in his arms, Max spots Lauren at the back of the church and he immediately thinks that Tanya's turned up to support him. He's unhappy, though, when he hears that she's stayed at home.

The Mitchells turn out in force at the funeral and extend their presence to the wake at the Brannings'. Billy's taken a big shine to Carol and she finds it quite amusing when he turns up with a Star Trek cake in memory of Bradley. Jack brings the wake to a grinding halt when he turns up with news from court - the judge has ruled that Bradley was responsible for Archie's murder on Christmas Day. After hearing the news, the Mitchells leave the wake in disgust, while Max is left to defend his late son's memory, protesting Bradley's innocence. Dot and Rachel, meanwhile, return to Bradley's grave to say goodbye to their son and grandson for one final time.

Following a long and difficult day, Max is exhausted and is consoled by Becca who's been following him all day. As she leans in to kiss him, Max is unable to resist her advances…

Elsewhere, Billie assures Whitney that he's left his old life behind; Patrick's concerned by Liz's desire to go skydiving; Billie's concerned when Janine begins searching through the kitchen cupboards in search of kitchen roll; Liz is pleased when she receives a bunch of flowers from 'Owen Turner' but she's confused that that they're lilies and not his usual bunch of daffodils; Billie's old friends Connor and Kylie turn up on the Square and Billie insists that he's disposed of the gun; and Jane makes a decision about Lucy's offer.

You know what it's like in soapland - even people's parents don't turn up for their funeral in some cases. At least Rachel's gonna be there.

Max's grief is a good reason for Carol to stay on in the square.
