EASTENDERS star Perry Fenwick has split from his wife, ex-Corrie star Angela Lonsdale, it emerged last night.
Actor Perry, 48 - who plays Billy Mitchell in the BBC1 soap - has been married to Angela for five years.
Despite the split the couple will remain the "best of friends" and stay in contact.
A source close to the pair said: "They just grew apart and thought it would be best to separate.
"They both want to make it clear no one else is involved. It just didn't work out."
The couple's on-off relationship began in 1998. Angela, 39, played Curly Watts' wife Emma before leaving the ITV soap.
