Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) arrives at Mulberry and Ashley (John Middleton) fears the worst but will Ashley be surpised or disappoionted when Laurel wants to talk about their marriage?

Jai (Christopher Bisson) is sure Nikhil’s (Rik Makarem) setting himself up for a fall and coolly warns him not to get involved in anything illegal.

Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) have a whip around for Zak (Steve Halliwell) and Lisa’s (Jane Cox) house rebuild.

At Mulberry, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) reminds Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) that Sally (Sian Reeves) is the one to blame but Laurel’s terrified she’ll never be able to forgive Ashley. Can Laurel put the past behind her and move forward with Ashley?

Cain (Jeff Hordley) returns and is annoyed when Charity (Emma Atkins) won’t tell him what’s going on with Debbie (Charley Webb) and Nikhil (Rik Makarem). Will Cain find out about the dodgy deal?

Shadrach (Andy Devine) is desperate to make amends and tells Lisa (Jane Cox) he’ll confess to the police, Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) overhears and demands to know what’s going on.

Jai (Christopher Bisson) is concerned about Nikhil's (Rik Makarem) involvement with Debbie (Charley Webb) and tells Cain (Jeff Hordley) about their deal. They plot to get the van of satnavs robbed. Will Jai and Cain pull it off before someone gets hurt?

Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) feels bad when she’s irritable and tells Ashley (John Middleton) he needs to stop treading on eggshells and act normally towards her.

Jimmy (Nick Miles) catches downbeat Rodney (Patrick Mower) perusing the lonely heart ads.


Thursday, 25 February 2010, 7:00PM - 7:30PM

Carl (Tom Lister) is unable to do Nikhil's (Rik Makarem) dodgy job so sends Charity (Emma Atkins) instead. She takes Noah (Jack Downham) with her and oblivious to the fact Charity has taken the job, Cain (Jeff Hordley) arranges for the truck to be aggressively hijacked. Will Charity and Noah get hurt? How will Cain feel when he finds out?

When Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) keeps pushing Ashley (John Middleton) away, Doug (Duncan Preston) kindly reminds Laurel not to let Sally (Sian Reeves) win so she tentatively agrees when Ashley suggests having the anniversary evening that Sally ruined.

Rodney (Patrick Mower) is amused when his advert in the lonely hearts gets some attention and he arranges a date.


Friday, 26 February 2010, 7:00PM - 7:30PM

Ryan (James Sutton) reluctantly visits Maisie (Alice Coulthard) at the clinic much to Nathan's (Lyndon Ogbourne) despair. Unable to cope with his anger, Nathan is enraged and kicks in the door of Tenant’s, he angrily starts clearing Faye’s (Kim Thomson) belongings sending them crashing to the floor. Will Nathan take his hatred too far?

Nikhil (Rik Makarem) despairs to learn the truck was robbed and accuses Debbie (Charley Webb) and Charity (Emma Atkins) of being involved in the heist.

Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) is flustered as she starts back at the factory but by the end of the day she is relieved and tells Jai (Christopher Bisson) it hasn’t been that bad.

And finally, Emmerdale's Nikhil Sharma is left shaken when Cain warns him not to mess Debbie around.

With Charity being evasive with Cain about Debbie and Nikhil's involvement - and keeping quiet about the stolen satnav deal - Cain corners Nikhil in The Woolpack toilets and lays down the law.

How will Cain react when he learns about the satnavs?

Laurel agrees to try again with Ashley

Doug and Diane agonise over what to do about Ashley and Laurel's marriage. When they try to console Ashley, he gets the wrong end of the stick and prepares to face the future without Laurel.

When Laurel arrives at Mulberry without Arthur, Ashley fears the worst but is taken aback when she tentatively reveals that she's willing to give their marriage another try. Can Ashley and Laurel get over their ordeal and build bridges?

Meanwhile, Jai's sure that Nikhil is setting himself up for a fall and coolly warns him not to get involved in anything illegal.

Later, Charity tries to convince Jai that Debbie's deal is above board. Will Jai hinder Nikhil's business venture?

Elsewhere, Chas and Gennie have a whip around for Zak and Lisa's house rebuild. Lisa's grateful but it's the least of her worries as she ponders being sent to prison.


Cain warns Nikhil not to hurt Debbie

Laurel's anxious as she receives a typical welcome home from Val and Viv. At Mulberry, she and Ashley are awkward around each other and Laurel's relieved when Nicola turns up.

Nicola reminds Laurel that Sally's the one to blame for her marital problems but Laurel's terrified that she'll never be able to forgive Ashley and get their relationship back on track. Can Laurel put the past behind her and move forward with her husband?

Meanwhile, Debbie finalises the satnav deal with Nikhil. Later, Cain returns and is annoyed when Charity won't tell him what's going on with Debbie and Nikhil.

At The Woolpack, Nikhil's shaken when Cain threatens him, sounding a clear warning not to hurt Debbie. Nikhil's he's left wondering what he's got himself into. How will Cain react when he finds out about the dodgy satnav deal?

Elsewhere, Shadrach's desperate to make amends and tells Lisa that he'll confess to the police. Belle, however, overhears the conversation and demands to know what's going on.

Lisa relays to Belle what's happened but she doesn't look convinced as Lisa explains she'll just get a warning.


Jai informs Cain of the satnav deal

Jai tries to warn Nikhil to be careful but he refuses to listen to his brother. Nikhil, however, is more concerned than he's letting on.

When Cain visits the factory in search of Nikhil, Jai covers for his brother. Worried, Jai later tells Cain about Nikhil's dodgy satnav deal with Debbie. Will Jai and Cain pull it off before someone gets hurt?

Irritated by the uneasy air in the house, Laurel tells Ashley that he needs to stop treading on eggshells and start acting normal her. At the factory, Laurel is grateful when Jai kindly offers her a job on the production line.

Later, Laurel's struck when Gabby makes her promise she's not leaving again as she goes to visit Nicola. Laurel, however, is hopeful when Nicola insists that the situation will normalise in time.

Elsewhere, Rodney tries to hide his disappointment when he realises that Doug's taking Diane out for the evening. Later, Jimmy catches a downbeat Rodney perusing the lonely hearts.


Cain hijacks the satnav deal

Carl's suspicious when Nikhil's edgy over the non-factory pick up he's arranged. When Carl discovers that he has to pick Thomas up from school early, he's forced to give Charity the job.

Charity takes Noah with her and oblivious to the fact Charity has taken the job, Cain arranges for the truck to be aggressively hijacked. Before she knows what's going on, Charity's bundled into the back of the van, while Noah cowers in the passenger seat terrified.

Meanwhile, Laurel can't help pushing Ashley away even though she knows it's hurting him - her blood boils whenever she thinks of Sally.

Doug kindly reminds Laurel not to let Sally win and she tentatively agrees when Ashley suggests that they enjoy the anniversary evening that Sally ruined before she left.

Elsewhere, Rodney's amused when his advert in the lonely hearts' gets some attention and he arranges a date.

At the pub, Rodney arrives with a much younger Fiona. Nicola's awkward, though, when she discovers that Rodney's date is her old school friend.


Charity's vows revenge on the van hijackers

Charity and Noah are both tied up in the van, while back in the village, Cain's horrified to discover that Charity was driving. Cain finds the truck but is torn over whether he should expose his guilt. With that, he leaves unseen.

Carl sees the truck down the lane and unties Charity. Both privately aware that the load was dodgy, they're relieved that the other doesn't insist on calling the police.

Later, a shaken Charity returns home and Cain feigns shock but it's clear that he's wretched when she threatens revenge on her abductors. Will Cain confess to Charity?

Meanwhile, Nathan takes Will to see Maisie and she's taken aback when her younger brother reveals that Ryan and Katie have split up. When Will's out of the room, Nathan informs her they only split because Katie discovered the truth about her and Ryan.

Later, Ryan's sympathetic when he finds Will alone and offers to take him to Tenant's. Ryan soon regrets it, though, when Nathan turns up. Ryan's left stunned by the strength of Nathan's hatred toward him.

Elsewhere, Laurel and Ashley have an emotional heart-to-heart as they both vent their feelings about their marriage and Sally. Ashley, however, is disappointed when Laurel cuts their conversation short to tend to Arthur.

He's left feeling a little hopeful, though, when Laurel admits that their evening was nice.

Also, Rodney feels out of place as Fiona and Nicola reminisce about school.


Ryan visits Maisie at the clinic

Airs on Friday, February 26 2010 at 19:00 GMT on ITV1



Katie tells Ryan that he needs to address the Maisie situation. With that, he reluctantly visits Maisie at the clinic and they awkwardly face up to the taboo and agree to forge a brother-sister relationship.

Nathan arrives unseen and incredulous at Ryan's present, shouts at him to leave. Enraged by recent events, Nathan kicks in the door of Tenant's and angrily begins throwing Faye's belongings crashing to the floor.

When Faye returns, she's horrified by the scene that's unfolding in front of her, while Nathan simply turns and menacingly smiles at her. Will Faye be able to put an end to Nathan's rage?

Meanwhile, Nikhil despairs to learn that the truck was hijacked and accuses Debbie and Charity of being involved in the heist.

Jai's wary when he overhears that Charity and Noah were caught up in the stunt all but is well when Nikhil insists that he'll never get involved in anything illegal ever again. Will Jai confess about his involvement?

Elsewhere, Laurel's flustered as she returns to the factory but by the end of the day, she's relieved and tells Jai that it hasn't been as bad as she thought it would be.
