THE real-life political expenses row is to hit Coronation Street - with the local mayor trying to claim for his FALSE TEETH.
Next month newsagent Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden) is seen reading the Weatherfield Gazette and musing: "Even Weatherfield hasn't been spared its share of sleaze.
"It's even infiltrated the town hall with the Mayor trying to claim his dentures."
He adds: "I wouldn't mind but when he opens his mouth he looks like Eddystone Lighthouse."
