View Full Version : Kaite Price marries Alex Reid in Las Vegas
JORDAN and boyfriend Alex Reid tied the knot in a quickie ceremony last night and said: "We are very much in love."
They issued a joint statement after their wedding at a hotel in Las Vegas at around midnight UK time.
Jordan - real name Katie Price - and Alex said: "We look forward to the future together. We can't wait to get back and celebrate our marriage with our friends and family who fully support our wishes."
Jordan's agent said: "Katie and Alex are delighted to announce they got married in a private, simple ceremony." The wedding at the Wynn Hotel came just days after Alex, 34, emerged victorious from the Celebrity Big Brother house and following a seven-month romance.
The couple were spotted shopping for a wedding ring hours before the ceremony.
They are staying at the Planet Hollywood hotel in Vegas where rooms can costs more than £6,000 a night.
They enjoyed champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries before being driven 500 yards to the rose-strewn chapel.
Their ceremony was recorded by a film crew. Guests included Katie's publicist Diana Colbert.
Jordan's agent added: "Their decision to marry has not been made with any media deal in place. It is purely down to their love for each other."
Jordan, 31, had told a magazine she and the cross-dressing cagefighter would be "together for ever".
She also said she wanted to have kids with Alex.
Alex popped the question in September.
Jordan split with her first husband Peter Andre, 36, last May after four years.

Yet another money making scam by this NOBODY. Its obvious to anyone with half a brain that her need for publicity is as big as her overinflated breasts. This apology for a woman is a complete waste of space. She is an oxygen theif. Who gives a toss about her sad little life. The sooner ITV realise this and dump her the better. Im glad to see that Hello magazine realised she was so downmarket they were losing readers. Not surprised OK bought her story when we consider some of the other top shelf mags its owner Mr Desmond publishes

The glamour model, real name Katie Price, and her new husband Alex Reid were spotted heading to Spearmint Rhino's strip joint after tying the knot.

Unlike most newlyweds, who mark their big day with family and friends, the couple continued the tacky theme of their wedding by surrounding themselves with scantily-clad pole dancers.
They were also thought to have visited Sapphire Gentlemen's Club.

Showing off her huge sparkler, Katie didn't look overjoyed to be married.
The 31-year-old seemed stony-faced after the ceremony, but showed off her famous assets in a low-cut black top, which she teamed up with some black Latex leggings.
Celebrity Big Brother champ Alex on the other hand was all smiles as he laughed with a pal.
The pair wed at the plush Wynn Hotel about seven months after their romance started.
Jordan, who only divorced her ex Peter Andre last September, is thought to have been given away by her best gay friends Gary Cockerill and Phil Turner.
The ceremony was filmed for the mum-of-three's ITV2 reality series.
It is believed to have lasted just 22 minutes and took place around 4pm local time.
The couple - who had splashed out £2,000 on kinky outfits earlier in the day, then headed back to their $10,000-a-night penthouse honeymoon suite at their hotel.
Earlier this week Jordan had told OK! magazine how she intended to wed Alex this year and have his kids.
Their nuptials come just a few months after she dumped him live on telly following her second stint on I'm A Celebrity.

JORDAN'S month-old marriage to Alex Reid is not legally valid, officials insisted last night.
The minister who conducted the service doesn't have a proper licence.
Experts say Rev Mose Henney is not registered to marry couples in Las Vegas after being forced to resign in disgrace over a sex scandal.
Henney, 67, admitted "inappropriate sexual contact, including sexual intercourse, with three adult women" at a church in Wisconsin eight years ago.
Jordan's wedding certificate is clearly signed by Henney.
But government officials say his licence to marry should have been revoked more than three years ago.
American family law experts insist ALL services by Henney, who conducted the couple's wedding at the Wynn Hotel on February 2, are now VOID.
It means Alex and Jordan's brief marriage could be over before it started.
It comes after the couple got involved in a bitter bust-up in Los Angeles over her ex Peter Andre bedding a Jordan lookalike, revealed by us last week. Bruised Alex, who has not signed a pre-nup, told friends afterwards: "I'm going to get dumped."
If they do break up, doubts over the legitimacy of the marriage could save Jordan, 31, from paying Alex any of her £30million fortune.
When the News of the World told Henney he was not registered correctly. He said: "You've got to be kidding. This is something I need to straighten out."
Married Henney moved to Las Vegas after quitting the Lutheran church in Wisconsin. He registered with the Lamb of God Church then left for the St Andrew's Lutheran Church three years ago.
But the parish secretary at St Andrew's told the News of the World he is simply a churchgoer, NOT a registered minister. Under U.S. law, you need to be registered as a minister to carry out weddings.
Last night respected U.S. lawyer Steven Weinberg said: "Technically Jordan and Alex are not married. It is a very messy situation."
