Airs on Monday, February 1 2010 at 18:30 GMT on Channel 4
Calvin and Mercedes's flirting is interrupted when Malachy arrives for work for The Loft's penguin-themed dating event. Speaking to Kris, Malachy expresses his fears that Mercedes is falling for Calvin, but the conversation is halted by Carmel's arrival. Malachy tells Mercedes that Carmel's attending the dating event that evening and she vows to find her a fit bloke.
Later, Carmel arrives looking stunning but admits that she's not sure she's ready to find love again. However, a determined Mercedes finds her sister a match. Malachy's torn watching Mercedes flirting, aware that it's aimed at Calvin. Kris can't bear to see the hurt on his brother's face and takes matters into his own hands, playing a song referring to infidelity.
Too near the knuckle for Malachy, he confronts his brother and tells him to be a mate or stay out of his life. Calvin and Carmel are surprised when they realise that their penguins are a match, but the moment is ruined when Archie knocks into her, sending her flying. Evicting Archie from the Loft, Malachy finds himself on the end of a telling off from Calvin for allowing drug taking in the club.
As tempers flare, Mercedes steps in and Calvin apologises to Malachy for taking his anger over Archie out on him. Reunited after Calvin's outburst, Malachy suggests that they look into renting a flat of their own - and he's thrilled when Mercedes agrees…
Meanwhile, Hannah's unaware that she's being observed as she chats happily with Rhys. Entering The Dog, she's surprised to hear Suzanne laughing and is shocked when she finds herself face to face with her ex, Jamie. Hannah's furious that he's had the audacity to turn up on her doorstep but he attempts to placate her and insists that he's sorted his life out. Hannah, however, refuses to be swayed and asks him to leave.
Duncan lets slip to Rhys that Hannah's been acting weird since this surfer dude showed up and putting two and two together, Rhys realises that Jamie's back on the scene. Panicked that Rhys has rumbled Jamie's presence, Hannah heads off in search of him. Unprepared to give him a second chance, Hannah insists that Jamie leaves the village before Rhys finds him.
Rhys confronts Hannah, insisting she tell him everything about Jamie's intentions but even after hearing that she's told Jamie to leave, Rhys remains furious and heads off in pursuit. Reiterating Hannah's feelings, Rhys tells Jamie to steer clear of his sister, before sealing his words with violence…
However, after receiving a voice message from Jamie declaring his love for her, is Hannah's resolve weakening?
Elsewhere, Archie's worried about his financial affairs - now that Zoe's gone, he has nobody to advise him. Insisting that Elliot needs a break from studying, he attempts to lure him out. Elliot, however, has other ideas and refuses to budge. Panic strikes, though, when Elliot's laptop goes into hibernation, potentially losing of all his work.
At The Loft, Archie bumps into Sheila and offers her a legal high. Refusing to take up his offer, she fishes for news of Elliot. After being kicked out of The Loft by Malachy, Sheila helps Archie back home…
2747: Jamie asks Hannah to move away
Airs on Tuesday, February 2 2010 at 18:30 GMT on Channel 4
Fed up with his life revolving around Relish and his aneurysm, Ravi decides that he wants more. Walking through the village, he notices a sign advertising the council hall for rent. Before his aneurysm, Ravi was fighting fit and the idea of starting a boxing club quickly forms. The thought of earning a living from something he enjoys seems the perfect plan and he throws himself into organising it.
When he tells Anita, she's doubtful that the club will take off - as is Calvin - but with some encouragement from Carmel, he agrees to help. They soon rope Malachy in and it's all hands on deck to set up Ravi's old equipment in the hall.
Before long, the hall is transformed into an impressive boxing club and an excited Ravi is more certain than ever that it's the start of something big for him.
Meanwhile, struggling to concentrate on his studies, Elliot's becoming increasingly frustrated with a manic Archie. Sheila quickly intervenes before things get physical and demands that Archie and Kris leave Elliot alone. Despite the flat being empty, Elliot's still struggling to complete his work and although grateful for her earlier help, it's Sheila who is making things worse for Elliot.
Elliot's now in a foul mood and when Sheila appears in a skimpy leotard, he assumes that her help has only been to lure him into bed. Furious, Elliot unleashes his frustration and anger on a shocked Sheila, who only wanted him to do some exercise to help him concentrate. Hurt and upset, Sheila storms out, leaving Elliot to calm down and realise his mistake.
After the dating event at The Loft, Carmel begins to realise how much she misses having Calvin around. Meeting him again in the village, she can't help but enjoy his company and soon agrees to meet him for a drink. In The Loft, Malachy purposefully comments to Mercedes about how much Calvin and Carmel are flirting but Mercedes is adamant that Carmel would never take him back.
Later, a jealous Mercedes turns up at the Valentines' to make Calvin an offer that she's sure he won't refuse but is left feeling cheap and used when Calvin gives her a 10-minute slot.
Furious at herself and Calvin, Mercedes returns home and drags Malachy to bed. Later Mercedes tries to subtly ask Carmel about Calvin but is left reeling when a giddy Carmel admits that she still loves him - and is determined to get her man back.
Hannah's still reeling over Jamie's arrival and she continues to argue with Rhys. Although she can't forget that Jamie nearly got them killed, she remembers how he made her feel when they were together. Nancy finally gets to meet Jamie but the pair get off on the wrong foot - and Nancy's clearly concerned for Hannah's safety. When Hannah meets up with Jamie, she sees he's in pain and realises that Rhys has beaten him up.
Angry at her brother for resorting to violence, Hannah turns up at the pub and warns him to stay out of her business. Nancy can't deny that Hannah comes to life around Jamie and begins to wonder if he's good for her. Feeling like he's getting somewhere - and with nothing to lose - Jamie asks Hannah to leave with him and start afresh.
Jamie moves in for a kiss and Hannah responds but knowing what she wants, she insists that their relationship has to be on her terms. As Hannah walks away, Rhys watches on and the look in his eye signals that he's not quite finished with Jamie yet…

Ravi quickly susses what's distracting his friend and although surprised that the recently-divorced pair are making another go of things, he tells Calvin to go for it.
As soon as Calvin and Carmel meet, things are awkward and both are clearly nervous. Conversation is strained but an absent-minded Carmel soon mentions Warren. Calvin's guilt once again gets the better of him and certain that they'll never be able to move on from what happened, he leaves Il Gnosh and a hurt Carmel behind.
Meeting with Ravi, Calvin fills him in on his disastrous date, insisting that it's over for good between him and Carmel. Ravi can't understand what Calvin's done that's so bad - until Calvin confesses he's been seeing someone that he shouldn't.
Meanwhile, with the talent show looming, Cindy's going all out to prepare Holly for her win. Tony's concerned by how much effort Cindy's making but he's told to keep out. Steph, meanwhile, is making little progress in her attempts to persuade a stubborn Tom to enter. Tom can see how down Steph is feeling and eventually gives in and agrees to enter - on two conditions: he can tell jokes and he gets the gerbil he's been asking for.
Steph happily agrees but is shocked and moved when Tom reveals that he'll call the gerbil Gilly as he misses the real Gilly. Steph can't tell Cindy the good news quick enough and succeeds in removing her smug smile. Tony, however, is forced to step in when the competition between the pair becomes personal. Jamie's shocked but assures Suzanne that he'll make Hannah happy, promising to take care of her. Suzanne's relieved and heads back to help Hannah prepare for her date. Heading to meet Hannah, Jamie's suddenly stopped in his tracks.
Beaten and thrown in a car boot, he's eventually dumped in woods with a warning from his attacker - stay away from his sister. Fearing that she's to blame for Jamie's no show, Suzanne's forced to admit to Hannah what she showed Jamie.
