I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but I couldn't think of where else to put it.

On the Eastenders board there is talk of Stephanie Beacham taking over the Queen Vic and I whimsically suggested she might bring Ken Barlow with her. Anyway, it got me thinking about characters crossing over between the two and I was wondering which Coronation Street characters people might like to see in Eastenders and vice versa and why.

I'd like to see Roy (and Haley, of course) move down to Walford and take over Ian's cafe so that Roy can dispense some much needed common sense in Albert Square. In reverse perhaps Jack could move up to Weatherfield to become Michelle's love interest...

if Maggie Jones was still alive, I would have loving her and Dot to get together.. maybe Dot retiring to Weatherfield... it would have made for fun TV..

If Steve McDonald and Llyod moved their cab business to Albert Square the could make a fortune as most people either leave the square in a taxi or a hearse. Thaty would mean a job for Archie Shuttleworth. Audrey could reopen the forgotten about Nail Bar and Beauty Salon.

EE could send their helter skelter from the illfated funfair and have it placed on the Red Rec.
