Is Sam still around?

Minty is so stupid. Does he really think he'll ever get Sam?? She just uses him cos she know he'll do what she asks! He's got a "nice" girl there with Manda, can't he just focus on her and have a good time. (I used the quotations as I don't like her, but she's nice).

He might have stayed with Manda but for possibly two reasons: 1. Sam returned into his life and brought his feelings for her back to the surface . 2. They need an excuse to write Manda's exit storyline

Archie Mitchell's murder investigation begins to take its toll on his eldest daughter Ronnie, in a fortnight's time, as his continued presence in her life pushes her over the edge.

Determined to rid him from her life once and for all, Ronnie pays Fatboy, Zsa Zsa and Leon to paint over the giant poster of Archie that is looming over the Square but Roxy stops them in their tracks. Seeing that the poster's still there when she returns, Ronnie confronts them in the pub, causing a scene in front of the locals.

While Billy runs to tell Peggy that he has heard Marsden is about to arrest Ronnie, Ronnie wanders out into the market to paint over the poster herself. Marsden, however, is waiting for her and with that, the unhinged Mitchell screams at the poster: "What do I have to do to make you leave me alone?"

Marsden grabs Ronnie's shoulder in an attempt to prevent her from vandalising it but Ronnie instinctively lashes out, hitting her in the face with her elbow. As Marsden falls to the floor, the locals look on in shock...

These scenes air on Tuesday, February 9 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Poor Ronnie. I don't blame her for wanting to paint over that poster.

Bradley admits the truth to Max and Jack
Airs on Monday, February 8 2010 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

Bradley's anxious when he spots DCI Marsden on the Square but Stacey reminds him that they have to continue acting normally, otherwise the police will realise that something's not right. Back at the Slaters', Bradley's panic-stricken as he reveals that he can't stop thinking about Archie and the events of Christmas Day - and secrets are always exposed. Stacey tries to reassure her fiancé and insists that their family's the most important thing now. Later, Jack turns up at the Car Lot and in front of Max, bluntly asks Bradley why he has blood on his hands at Christmas. As Max argues with Jack about his accusations, the pair turn to see that Bradley's disappeared - just as Marsden turns up. Jack refuses to talk about Archie and a suspicious Marsden soon leaves. With that, the Branning brother splits to find Bradley.

Finally finding his son, Max questions Bradley about the source of his mood swings, insisting that he should finally be happy. At that moment, Bradley states that Max wasn't the only guy to take his midlife crisis out on Stacey. Confused, Max quizzes Bradley about his comment and Bradley affirms that Stacey was mentally stable during her affair with him - and she was never forced. Max continues asking who forced Stacey to have sex with them and at that moment, Bradley shouts
'Archie Mitchell', before running off just as Jack arrives. Piling into Jack's flat, Bradley blames Jack for stirring up the Archie situation again, while Max and Jack implore him to tell them the truth. Breaking down in tears, Bradley begins to reveal all.

Admitting that Archie's the father of Stacey's baby, Max directly asks his son if he killed Archie. A thoughtful Bradley finally answers - he didn't touch The Vic bust but did punch him as hard as he could, hence the blood on his hands - he wanted Archie dead…

Meanwhile, Bianca prepares for her hen do and as she does, she hears a trumpet sound - it's Sonia! The pair discuss Manchester life and talk soon turns to their mother Carol attending the wedding. Bianca, however, is dismissive of the situation. The women of the Square turn up for Bianca's hen party, which Sonia's filming. As Bianca claims that Ricky's always been her soulmate, Whitney questions whether her father Nathan was ever in the frame. As Bianca's about to answer, there's a knock at the door - it's Fatboy with Leon, Bianca's stripper. Bianca's disappointed to hear that Martin and Rebecca aren't attending the wedding, while Sonia rejects a call from Martin. A drunken Bianca soon heads upstairs in Leon's arms.

About to leave, Zainab goes to retrieve her coat from Bianca's room and she's shocked to hear giggles from within. She's further surprised to see Leon in Bianca's bed with a pair of women's feet dangling out the end, with a chipped toenail…

Elsewhere, Whitney tries to dump Todd; there's a chemistry between Whitney and Billie; Billie sabotages the hens' punch; Ronnie starts drinking heavily in The Vic; Dot discretely puts Tiffany's bridesmaid dress that Dotty stole under a pile of clothes at Pat's house, before leaving; Fatboy winds Roxy up by suggesting that they could make money on the basis of Archie's death; Manda's adamant that Minty's having an affair; Heather and Shirley find Zsa Zsa waiting on their doorstep; and Bianca finds Tiffany's missing bridesmaid dress.

A raging Ronnie lashes out at DCI Marsden

While Peggy stares at a box of Archie's personal effects, Ronnie walks in and shouts at Peggy for letting Archie continue to control her. With that, Ronnie suggests that Peggy organise a family dinner to show everyone that she's still the head of the clan. After telling a visibly worried Pat that the police have a new lead in Archie's death, Peggy informs Phil, too. As Peggy wanders away, Shirley turns up with a cufflink that Phil was wearing at Christmas. She found it under the bed, but the other one's missing. Concerned that Marsden may have the other, the pair begin searching high and low. Later, Heather arrives at The Vic and tells Heather that Marsden's out to arrest their latest prime suspect. As Phil drives out of the Square, Shirley watches on as Marsden's eyes follow Phil's tracks.

Meanwhile, Ronnie's disposing of Archie's belongings when she comes across a package with her name on. Opening it, she finds a snow globe like she used to have as a child. Realising what she needs to do to take control and eradicate Archie from her life for good, she storms out. Heading to the café, she offers Leon and Fatboy cash to paint over Archie's poster. They both agree but are soon stopped in their tracks by a fuming Roxy. Later, Ronnie's upset to see that Archie's face is still looming over The Vic and confronts Fatboy, Leon and Zsa Zsa, causing a scene in the
pub. Racing outside, Ronnie goes to paint over the poster herself but finds Marsden waiting for her.

Ronnie screams at the poster 'what do I have to do to make you leave me alone?' and as Marsden grabs Ronnie's shoulder, Ronnie reacts by lashing out with her elbow. The locals watch on as Marsden falls to the floor having been assaulted by Ronnie…

Meanwhile, Pat's becoming frustrated by Janine's constant fussing. Ryan turns up at the flat as Pat notices the way Ryan looks at Janine. Sensing chemistry between the pair, Pat suggests that they all meet at the café later in the day. Later, Peggy turns up to visit, much to Pat's annoyance. As the pair talk, Peggy mentions that Marsden has a new lead in the murder case and suggests that they both know who should be concerned. At the café, Ryan and Janine are waiting for Pat but she doesn't show. Realising what Pat's up to, Janine returns to the flat and lambastes Pat for playing cupid. Finding Peggy's glove, Janine accuses Pat of orchestrating Peggy's visit while she was out. Janine refuses to reason and when Ryan returns home, he's surprised to find Pat shipping out to move back in with Bianca.

Elsewhere, Bianca and Zainab overhear that Marsden has a fresh lead in Archie's murder investigation; Zainab's curious about who was in bed with Leon; Shirley tells Zsa Zsa she can temporarily stay at the flat with her and Heather; Dotty hatches a plan to cause Jim to be taken back into the care home and throws a glass of water over his lap; Zainab and Denise are shocked to realise that the chipped toenail was Bianca's; Darren and Libby bump into each other; and Dot sees through Dotty's scheming and when Dotty shouts that she wishes her dad had managed to go through with his murder plot, Dot slaps her across the legs just as Sonia walks in.

Also, Jack tells Max that the police have a potential new eyewitness; Adam and Libby search Minty's house in the hope of finding evidence that he's cheating on Manda; Bradley panics when he overhears the news about the new lead the police have; Billy hears a rumour that Ronnie's about to be arrested; Adam and Libby find a 'HM Prison' letter addressed to Minty from Sam; and Marsden watches on as Bradley has a run-in with Fatboy in the Square and it's clear that she has no new lead - she spread the rumour to unsettle the locals.

Ronnie asks Phil for help fleeing the country
Airs on Thursday, February 11 2010 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Ronnie returns home, having been charged with assaulting a police officer following the previous night's incident with DCI Marsden. She also tells the family that the police definitely have new information, which is why she was released early. Surprised to see that Ronnie's been released so early, Jack offers his help but she rebuffs his advances. Later, Ronnie bumps into Marsden again and the pair have cross words. Marsden thanks her for effectively handing herself in to the police, while Ronnie maintains that just because she gave her a black eye, that doesn't automatically mean she's capable of killing he father. Marsden, however, reminds her that she's shown her true colours, before suggesting that she's a prosecutor's dream.

Later, with her bags packed, Ronnie turns to Phil for help in leaving the country. Phil, however, insists that Marsden has no new evidence as she's bluffing to cause problems. Phil's taken aback by Ronnie's reaction, though, when he admits that he knows about Marsden's 'new witness'. Desperate to leave, Ronnie asks for Phil's help in retrieving her passport. The pair argue as Phil suggests that she'd be foolish to run, while Ronnie asks if he killed Archie. Phil denies the accusation and declines to help her escape Walford. Down in the bar, Marsden turns up as the locals celebrate Dot and Jim's anniversary. During the toast, everyone falls silent as they hear police sirens. Marsden surveys everyone's reaction but fails to notice that Ronnie's wandered out of the door…

Meanwhile, an anxious Bradley expresses his concerns to Max that he and Stacey will be forced to spend their lives looking over their shoulders. An agitated Bradley calls Stacey who suggests that they meet in The Vic to finalise the arrangements for Dot and Jim's surprise anniversary party. At the Car Lot, Jack tells his brother that they need to
convince Bradley to tell the police everything - or he well, as he's not letting Ronnie go down for a crime she didn't commit. Max is furious by Jack's ultimatum and points out that the only way he could know that Ronnie didn't kill Archie is if he killed him. Jack laughs off the accusation and reiterates his deadline - he has until 4pm to persuade Bradley to confess otherwise he'll go to Marsden himself.

Having heard nothing from Max, Jack's about to walk into the station when Max stops him in his tracks and begs him not to go through with it. Max turns up for Dot and Jim's anniversary party without Jack but Jack soon appears, as does Marsden.

Elsewhere, Becca's disappointed when Bradley tells her that the holiday he's planning is only for him and Stacey; Billie decides to help Whitney learn to ride the moped and revise the highway code; Ricky turns to Zainab for help in cooking Bianca a romantic meal; Minty's concerned about Manda and tries to find out why but Manda's evasive; Dot feels guilty about losing her temper with Dotty the previous day and promptly apologises; Zainab becomes frustrated and nearly tells Ricky about Bianca's liaison with Leon; and following an awkward moment with Todd, Whitney heads out with Billie.

Also, Minty attempts to arrange Ricky's stag night; Dot finds Jim's anniversary present to her; Whitney tries to move Billie's bag on the moped but he grabs it, not wanting her to see its contents; Manda tells Minty that she knows about his visits to Sam in prison and asks Minty if she still likes him - but Minty's silent; Whitney and Todd head to the café to talk; Dotty uses Dot's guilt to her advantage, much to Sonia and Jim's concern; and when Bianca criticises her cooking, Zainab spitefully tells Ricky that Bianca slept with Leon.

DCI Marsden makes a shock announcement
Airs on Friday, February 12 2010 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

In The Vic, everyone's stunned when the police wander in and arrest one of the locals. As the commotion continues, Phil and Roxy suddenly realise that Ronnie's gone AWOL. Checking upstairs, they discover that Ronnie's turned one of the bedrooms upside down in search of her passport. Janine overhears the revelation from the bottom of the stairs and decides to call the police from The Vic. While on hold, she's unexpectedly cut off and as she turns, she sees the Mitchell clan staring at her. The phone rings again and when Phil answers, he recognises the voice on the other end and bemusedly says Grant's name. Furious at his mother for contacting Grant, Phil hangs up. All the while, they don't notice that Janine's sloped off.

Outside, Jack confronts DCI Marsden over her new eyewitness and suggests that there isn't one. Judging by her reaction, Jack's pleased to realise that he's right. As Marsden's about to leave the Square, Janine shouts that she has new information about Ronnie. At the station, Janine reveals that Ronnie's trying to escape the country. Marsden's phone unexpectedly interrupts the interview and when she takes the call, she's pleased by what she's been told. Back at The Vic, Roxy calls Ronnie and leaves a message, informing her that she's okay to return home as Marsden was lying about there being a new witness. Roxy also reminds her that she'll find herself in trouble for skipping bail.

Later, Ian, Jane, Janine and the Mitchells are in The Vic when Marsden walks in asking to see Ronnie. Peggy covers for her niece but Marsden's adamant that she wants to see her. With all the murder suspect in one room, Marsden announces that they now have new forensic evidence and a new DNA profile has been found. She goes on to reveal that she'll be starting a mass DNA screening and urges anyone to reveal any information they may be withholding beforehand. She adds: "Looks as if we're about to find out who really killed Archie Mitchell…"

Meanwhile, at the Argee Bargee, Ricky questions Bianca about Zainab's suggestion that she slept with Leon at her hen do. The pair soon kiss and as they do, Bianca receives a text from Zainab. Instead of being angry, Bianca's excited to know who was in her bed with the stripper! Whitney and Sonia look back at the camcorder footage from the night for clues. Later, Whitney interrupts Lucy in the café and explains Bianca's theory. With that, Lucy proudly admits that she was the one sleeping with Leon. Ricky, meanwhile, continues to watch the DVD and is heartbroken to hear Bianca say that Whitney's father Nathan was her soulmate.

Elsewhere, Minty admits to Manda that he still has feelings for Sam; Max sees Jack stash a huge pile of cash in his pocket; Manda starts to pack her belongings, much to Minty's dismay; and Adam drives Manda out of Walford after calling off her relationship with Minty.

So Bradley swears he didn't touch the bust :hmm:

Why would Becca assume that Bradley would include her in his holiday plans with Stacey?
