John & Edward have teamed up with Vanilla Ice for their upcoming debut single.
'Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)' will be available for download on January 31, with a physical CD release following on February 15, PlanetJedward reveals.
The X Factor duo first performed the mash-up of the Queen/David Bowie and Vanilla Ice hits on week six of last year's reality talent show.
On their official Twitter page, John & Edward wrote: "Our Debut Single is out 31st of January !Under Pressure(Ice Ice Baby)! MAKE IT NO.1!Spread The Word! The Countdown Starts Now!"
The twins reprised their rendition at last night's National Television Awards, with their live performance featuring Vanilla Ice.
 this made me laugh sooooo much
I hope it becomes the most successful single ever for an X Factor contestant it has to be No. 1

"Alright! Stop, collaborate and listen, Jedward's back with a brand new invention!" Whether you consider them an irritating novelty or the saviours of pop, you can't have failed to notice the Irish twins launching their pop careers over the past month. Their wacky dance moves and wackier hairstyles are still hogging the headlines, while their former co-stars (Danyl who?) are probably wondering what went wrong. Having made friends with the Grimes during their X Factor adventures, we leapt at the chance for a catch-up.
What was it like performing your debut single at the NTAs?
Edward: "Going on the NTAs was a massive deal for us. Bringing Vanilla Ice back to the UK for one special show was a great thing. Having performed his song on X Factor, it was just really cool getting to do it with him in person."
John: "Doing the NTAs was just like doing the MTV EMAs, but instead of Justin Timberlake being in the audience there were loads of other famous people. We took the show up to another level. It went from polite rounds of applause to everyone standing up and going crazy."
How much time did you get to spend with Mr Vanilla?
Edward: "We hung out with him on the Tuesday before and the Wednesday. He was just really normal and joking about."
John: "It's such a huge track that everyone knows. To have him teaching us how to pronounce words like 'burnin' and 'nimble' was really cool."
Are you worried that releasing a cover makes you seem like a bit of a novelty act?
Edward: "You know, we were on The X Factor and there were loads of different things we could have done, but I think this was the right song for us to release."
John: "We've got loads of songwriters writing new songs for us, but for our first release we thought we should do something that people are familiar with."
Edward: "It's pretty simple. The next thing we do will be pretty different"
Your dance moves are quite something. Do you want to spend more time on choreography?
Edward: "I want to be working every day. I want to become lethal - a triple threat."
John: "We know that we can learn choreography because it's not that hard. It takes us maybe two or three days to learn an unbelievably good dance routine and then one day to prepare. With our videos we want to do loads more choreography."
You've done Vanilla Ice. Who do you want to team up with next?
John: "I think it's good to work with any artist. We want to work with loads of people."
Edward: "Lady GaGa!"
John: "Lady GaGa, Ne-Yo."
Edward: "She can be Lady, John can be Ga and I can be Ga-Ga."
John: "Imagine if we just collaborated with loads of different artists and never came up with our own songs?"
When we spoke to you after The X Factor, you said you wanted to write your own songs. Will you be doing that?
Edward: "I'd like to write a really, really cool song with good lyrics to it. Loads of songs are all about saying, 'Yeah baby, I miss you' and we don't want to do that. We want to write a good new song - something like Beyoncé's 'If I Were A Boy' that was totally different and had never been done before."
You could co-write the tracks...
Edward: "Yeah, we'd love to write with Max Martin. Think of all the cool songs that he's written. He's written loads of stuff for Britney. All his songs are No.1 in the Billboard charts and over here."
You focused on rapping on The X Factor. Will we ever hear you just singing again?
Edward: "I know that we did some rapping on The X Factor, but I just think that our style is pop singing. People like Justin Timberlake use that sort of style. We want to have our own distinctive style though. Everyone can recognise a Britney song straight away and we want it to be like that with our voices and our distinctive sound."
What are the chances of you ever changing your haircuts?
Edward: "Will we?"
John: "I think we will. I always want to be changing."
Edward: "People would find it boring if we never changed it, but right now it's staying the same."
John: "We've never really thought about altering our hair, but maybe we could do something really, really cool with it. Maybe we'll shave it all off for charity and raise loads of money?"
What did you think when Rage Against The Machine beat Joe to Christmas No.1?
John: "I think that it was so cool for Rage Against The Machine. They weren't even releasing the song properly - there was no video, it was just a download and they still beat Joe. It was good to have a bit of competition. People have been afraid to release a song at Christmas because of the The X Factor, but they showed what happens if you take a chance."
Edward: "But Joe is cool. I mean, he was on TV for how many weeks? 11 or 12 weeks? Think of all that effort and promotion, all the work that everybody went through..."
John: "...But he got number one in the end, so that was cool."
Jedward's debut single 'Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)' is available to download now. Physical copies go on sale from February 15.
