Coronation Street is to receive another royal visit at the beginning of next month to tie in with the show's 50th anniversary celebrations.
The Duchess of Cornwall will call in at Manchester's Granada Studios on Thursday, February 4, where she will be accompanied by members of the Corrie hierarchy, including executive producer Kieran Roberts and producer Kim Crowther.
After walking down the cobbles, she will be presented to the soap's creator Tony Warren and key members of the cast and production teams - notably show veteran William Roache (Ken Barlow) - outside The Rover's Return.
Following a look around the Street's public house, Camilla will receive a bouquet from the cast, before heading to Stage 1 where she will watch a scene being filmed on The Rovers' interior set.
Director of ITV Studios John Whiston said: "We are very honoured to be graced by a visit from the Duchess of Cornwall. It's the perfect beginning to our 50th anniversary year."
At the end of last year, it was reported that the Queen was expected to feature in an episode during the soap's golden celebrations.
