The five aspiring acts taking part in Simon Fuller's new reality series If I Can Dream have been revealed.
Fuller's web-based show, which will be shown on US video on-demand service Hulu, has been described as "American Idol meets Big Brother".
If I Can Dream will follow five performers living in the Hollywood Hills as they struggle to make the big time. The participants are to be given acting, modelling, vocal and music coaching in an effort to launch their careers. The cast will move into the house in late February and viewers will be able to watch them inside the compound 24/7 and interact online.
Participating in the show are 21-year-old actress Kara Kilmer, who wants to "pursue her dream of a career in film", 22-year-old Benjamin Elliott, who works as a model and actor, and 20-year-old high-fashion model Giglianne Braga.
Also taking part are singer-songwriter Justin Gaston and 23-year-old actress and model Amanda Phillips.
The cast was announced for the first time in New York yesterday.
