aol broadband wireles to sky wireless broadband

hello

we have started the process of transferring from aol to sky, called sky with the transfer code from aol, and apparently sky are sending a new router through and will be transfering on 18th january.

i will be on holiday during that time, so my dad is sorting it out, he is not very good with technology etc so it is usually left to me to do it, will he need to do much/anything during the change over do i need to give him our existing network name/wep key etc or does sky do it all on the day for us.

Why don't you just leave it until you get back to set up?

The instructions should all come with the router. It'll have to be installed on a computer so if your dad is really not good with technology and is likely to get stuck, wait until you get back to do it.

The key will be on the Sky router itself. Your dad will have to put that into windows
