X Factor judge Dannii Minogue is expecting her first child, reports have claimed.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Minogue was spotted with a baby bump earlier this week as she left a private maternity hospital in Melbourne with boyfriend Kris Smith.
Meanwhile, sources have told The Mirror that the 38-year-old is "over the moon" and has shared her news with family members.
One insider said: "Dannii thought the time was right to start trying for a baby. The whole family are delighted for her - especially [sister] Kylie, who is so excited about having a little niece or nephew.
"Dannii really doesn't know what this means in terms of X Factor. The show is the last thing on her mind right now."
It is thought that the star is due to give birth in the summer, when the ITV1 show's audition rounds usually take place.
A source explained: "At present, she's not even thinking that far ahead. She is over the moon at being pregnant and can't stop smiling."
Minogue started dating Smith in 2008 after they met in Ibiza. She later described the former rugby player as "the one" and confirmed that she had "never been happier".

Dannii Minogue has confirmed that she is expecting a baby with model Kris Smith.
Rumours surfaced online last week that the Australian pop singer was pregnant, but Minogue denied the allegations, which came before her 12-week scan.
The X Factor judge has been dating the former rugby player since 2008 and there have been frequent rumours about the pair getting wed.
On her Twitter page today, Minogue wrote: "Woo hoo I'm gonna be a mummy! :-)"
"Dannii and Kris are very excited and can't wait to start their family in 2010," the pair's rep told Australian newspaper the Herald Sun.
"Rumours and stories surfaced across the weekend about Dannii being pregnant and having already had her 12-week scan. These stories were incorrect. Dannii had her 12-week scan this week and was given the results today with the all clear to make an announcement."
Minogue is expecting her first child in July, but it is not clear yet whether this means she will have to withdraw from this year's X Factor, which begins shooting in the summer.

The 38-year-old, who recently announced her pregnancy, is apparently being lined up to follow in the footsteps of presenter Myleene Klass.
According to STV, the British shopping chain is keen to secure the star's services as its new number one model.
However, a store spokesperson was unable to confirm the reports.
Minogue is currently the bookies' favourite to leave The X Factor.

Dannii Minogue has confirmed that she plans to return to The X Factor after she has her baby.
The 38-year-old, who announced that she is pregnant with her first child earlier this month, insisted that she wants to continue as a judge on the ITV1 show.
"I've no plans to stop working and take any time off - apart from the actual birth," she told The Sun. "I've heard I have to be at the birth, right?"
The final decision on whether Minogue will continue on the judging panel is expected to be made in April.
According to recent reports, X Factor insiders have raised doubt about Minogue's future on the show.
The singer is due to give birth in July.

As if Dannii Minogue didn’t have enough on her plate, she’s now become the face of Marks & Spencer.
According to The Sun, the X Factor judge is ‘so excited’ about her new campaign, which will be on our screens from March 24th.
M&S are also please to have Dannii on board, saying, 'She’s got a great personality and looks fantastic.'

Dannii Minogue is expecting a baby girl, Kris Smith has reportedly let slip.
The model was at a charity event in Australia when he accidentally revealed the child's sex, The Mirror reports.
"There's been a few sleepless nights but it will be all worth it to see her beautiful little face," he said.
Smith and Minogue know the sex but have been keeping it a secret ahead of their first child's expected arrival in July.

Dannii Minogue has become a mum for the first time.
The 'X Factor' judge gave birth to a baby son, Ethan Edward Smith, at a hospital in Melbourne yesterday.
In a statement, her representative said: ”Kris Smith and Dannii Minogue are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ethan Edward Smith on 5th July 2010.
”Mother and baby are doing well and Dad is very proud. They request their privacy at this special time to adjust as new parents.”
Dannii had taken time off from this year's 'X Factor' auditions so that she could return to Australia ahead of the birth.
It's been reported that the six finalists in her category will be flown out to Melbourne in order to delay her return to the UK for the final stages of the programme.
Dannii's sister Kylie is believed to be planning to fly out to see the new arrival later this month.

Dannii Minogue reportedly had to scrap plans for a home birth after a health scare.
The X Factor judge had planned to deliver the baby in her East Melbourne mansion but complications meant she was rushed into the Royal Women's Hospital as a precaution, reports The Mirror.
The singer and partner Kris Smith waited 48 hours before announcing the arrival of their first child, Ethan Edward Smith, yesterday morning.
"It was touch and go for a while but thankfully it all worked out fine," a source told the Daily Star.
Dannii's sister Kylie was apparently kept up to date as she launched her new album Aphrodite in Ibiza.
"It's ironic that she was in Ibiza when Ethan was born - that was where Dannii and Kris first met and fell in love," an insider said. "She had hoped the little one would have held on for a week so she could be there at the birth, but Ethan had his own plans."
Minogue's spokesperson confirmed that both mother and baby are doing well.
