Piers Morgan is reportedly interested in launching a reality talent show to find new young British musicians.
According to Metro, the planned programme from the Britain's Got Talent judge could be used to source nominees for a new prize at this year's Brit Awards.
A source said: "He'll be trying to find a shortlist of talent to be in the running for the Brit Awards' new gong - the 'Class Act Award'.
"Piers will be searching schools all over the country to find the next big thing and kids who are true musicians and not just good singers."
ITV and Sky are said to be interesting in bidding for the one-off show ahead of the 30th Brit Awards ceremony later this year.
