Lady GaGa's 'Poker Face' is the biggest-selling single of 2009, the Official Chart Company has announced.
The US pop singer - real name Stefani Germanotta - also released the year's second biggest-selling album, The Fame, and third biggest-selling single, 'Just Dance'.
Pop-rap four-piece Black Eyed Peas released three of the year's top ten singles, with 'I Gotta Feeling' placing second on the chart of 2009 , 'Boom Boom Pow' finishing sixth and 'Meet Me Halfway' coming in tenth.
Meanwhile, Joe McElderry's X Factor winner's single is revealed as the fifth biggest-seller of the year.
His version of 'The Climb' finishes 2009 three places ahead of Rage Against The Machine's 'Killing In The Name' - the track that beat it to the Christmas number one spot - but a place behind 'Fight For This Love', the solo debut from his mentor Cheryl Cole.
