Maxwell has been fretting in the Diary Room that a series of arguments with Lesley has taken its toll on Sam.
The girls have had frequent tiffs this week and the tension was only heightened with the make-up bag-hiding incident.
Maxwell has noticed a real change in saucy Sam. He felt that during her first few days in the House she was "really bubbly" but now "she'll laugh and then turn around a minute later with a face like a slapped ****."
Although concerned for his pal he didn't quite know how to heal the rift and cheer sulky Sam up. He supposed he should take her aside and have a quiet chat to boost her spirits.
Strained by the very thought of making a sensitive speech to Sam, Maxwell wished everyone could just get along. "In an ideal world we'd all sit around and have a beer," he sighed.
Trust Maxwell to see alcohol as the answer.
