Is Ric really going out of Holby or is he just taking a break? If he's going do we know who will replace him?

I think he'll come back because Diane does go to get him to change his mind in Africa and nothings been said about him leaving that I know of anyway.
I hope he stays though he's a great character and I don't think they'll want him to leave because there already losing Zubin!!

He's just taking a break as far as I know. They went to Ghana to film an episode to be screened in 4 weeks.

He's still leaving. He finishes filming in July so I think he'll be on screen until Septemberish time.

Thank God i was in total shock when he announced he'd decided to leave, So who films in Ghana just him and Diane?
