Celebrity Love Island attracted almost 1 million viewers more than Big Brother on Monday night, according to early figures.

The ITV reality show pulled in an average of 4.65 million - a 21.8% share of the audience - between 9.30pm and 10.30pm, versus BB's 3.73 million (19.7%) at 10pm.

Earlier, BBLB held 1.09 million (9.1%) while on E4, Big Mouth had 179,000 (1.4%).
