Joe and Gail enjoy their honeymoon but Joe's mind is back in Weatherfield worrying about what Rick will do next.

Tina meanwhile is oblivious to the potential danger and is more concerned about Nick Tilsley's whereabouts.

Meanwhile, over in Coronation Street, Patti Clare makes a welcome return to Weatherfield as Norris's old competition partner Mary Taylor.

Norris isn't best pleased to see Mary again, while Tina takes pleasure in ensuring he can't say no to her dinner invitaiton to the camper van of love...

Rosie's mortified by her bus stop photos

Joe and Gail are enjoying their honeymoon in the Lake District and Gail tells Joe just how happy he makes her. Joe's mind, however, is racing as he worries about Tina's welfare - and what Rick might be planning back in Weatherfield.

Back on the Street, David's fishing and tries to coax Nick into admitting that Tina's the reason that he's sticking around. Nick takes it in good spirits and teases David, insisting that he really wants to spend time with his half-brother. Tina breathes a sigh of relief, though, when Nick finally leaves for Nottingham again.

The factory girls are less than impressed when they discover that Sally's been given time off, despite all leave being banned. When Hayley and Sally's stories don't add up, they demand some answers.

Sally, meanwhile, doesn't have time to worry about the attitude of her colleagues when Rosie finds herself in yet another predicament - some of the more suggestive shots that were taken for her portfolio have found their way onto an advert at the bus stop.

Rosie's initially mortified but when her parents react badly, she retaliates with some unintentionally hurtful comments.

Elsewhere, Norris is shocked when Mary turns up and railroads him into having dinner with her in the motor home; and Molly tries to work at her marriage as she and Tyrone mark their first wedding anniversary.


Sally tells Rosie and Sophie the truth

Sally's regretting speaking so harshly to Rosie and points out to Kevin that their daughter has no idea what she's going through. With that, Kevin and Sally decide that it's time to tell the girls the truth.

Meanwhile, Rosie and Sophie's minds are in overdrive and come to the conclusion that Kevin and Sally are being so secretive because they're about to split up. How will they react when Sally breaks the tragic news to them about her illness?

Graeme seems to have developed an unhealthy obsession with Rosie and David's shocked when he finds his mate talking to the half-naked poster of Rosie at the bus stop!

Norris is in a state of panic over Mary's dinner invitation and decides that the best way forward is to change the venue - in the hope that he doesn't have to be alone with Mary.

Later at The Rovers, the pair catch up and Mary's relieved to discover that Freda isn't Norris's partner.

Molly and Tyrone continue with their wedding anniversary celebrations and a guilty Molly becomes upset as they look through their wedding photos. Molly vows to Tyrone that their second year of marriage will be amazing - but is she really trying to convince herself?

Elsewhere, Gail and Joe return from their honeymoon and David feigns interest in the details of their trip. Joe soon realises that nothing's really changed in his life when he has to borrow the cab money from Gail.


Dev arranges a party for the twins

It's the day before Sally's operation and she hopes for a sense of normality, and Rosie's happy to oblige with her inane chatter about a breast enhancement.

Later at Underworld, the mystery of Sally's time off crops up again and Carla intervenes to stop the girls badmouthing Sally. However, when Rosie overhears their comments in the Street, the young Webster can't keep quiet and follows them to The Rovers to confront them.

Realising where Rosie's gone, Sally follows her inside, just in time to hear her telling the girls that her mum's having an operation. How will Sally's colleagues react when she reveals the truth about her time off work?

One person in the pub is forced to keep quiet about the fact that she's known about Sally's illness for weeks - and Tyrone's oblivious to his wife's deception as he takes in the shocking news.

Meanwhile, Dev's nervous about throwing the twins a birthday party at the flat but Jesse promises to help guide him through it. The event goes without a hitch - apart from Jesse feeling that his new assistant Sean stole the show! Sunita's delighted by the lengths that Dev has gone to, while Matt's left feeling decidedly sidelined.

Joe brings up the subject of life insurance with Gail but she reminds him that they can't afford it with the state of their finances. Later, Joe retrieves some paper that Gail's been practising her new signature on. Just what is he up to?

Elsewhere, Eddie winds up the residents when he uses their bins for his overflow of rubbish; and Ryan celebrates his 18th birthday with Sian and Michelle.

Sally's in hospital preparing for her operation and attempts to paint on a brave face. However, Sally soon tells Kevin that she's terrified at the prospect of a mastectomy and questions what Kevin will think of her if she's forced to undergo the procedure.

Feeling guilty, an emotional Kevin insists that she'll always be beautiful to him and apologises for not being there for her when she was going through the ordeal alone. Is Kevin apologising for much more?

Back at the factory, the girls are feeling awful for the things they've been saying about Sally and decide to start a collection. Kelly refuses to be a hypocrite, though, and shocks the others by her attitude.

Meanwhile, Anna's finally persuaded Gary to have a farewell party before he leaves for basic training and is emotional as she begins to arrange everything. Eddie, however, is dealing with his worries in his own way - by writing a letter to his son.

Dev's still on a high following the twins' birthday party and he's pleased when Sunita finally calls. But his pleasure soon turns to concern when she informs him that Asha is ill. He races to the house, where Sunita admits that she fears their daughter has meningitis. With that, they immediately call the doctor. Despite the situation, Dev can't help but feel pleased that Sunita called him to the house instead of Matt.

Elsewhere, Kevin's shocked when Tyrone reveals that he's turned his new job down so that he can help out now that Sally is ill.


The Windasses throw Gary a party

The doctor and Matt arrive at Sunita's house. Matt's put out that Dev's been there for about an hour, while the doctor carries out some tests on Asha.

It's not long before the doctor tells a relieved Dev and Sunita that Asha's showing no signs of meningitis. Instead, he confirms that Asha simply has a virus. When the doctor leaves, Matt and Sunita row about the fact Sunita called Dev before him.

Meanwhile, Gary's party at The Rovers is a lively affair, with more than a few raised eyebrows at the themed cake Eddie's baked. David decides to continue with the army gags and manages to stick a target onto Gary's back.

David's joke backfires, though, when Anna becomes upset about the dangers that her son will face in the army. Eddie, meanwhile, is proud of his son, so much so that he breaks the habit of a lifetime and buys a drink for everyone in the pub!

Elsewhere, Sally's woken up from her operation and is even managing to crack a few jokes. The factory girls give Kevin and Rosie the present they've bought, while Sian and Sophie bury the hatchet.

However, the day takes a disturbing turn for Kevin when Molly and Tyrone turn up to see him. Managing to catch a few moments alone with Kevin, Molly makes a shocking announcement.
