Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) is in turmoil as he agonises about telling his family he’s leaving with Faye (Kim Thomson). Unable to go through with it, he lies to Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) that he has a meeting in town and heads out to see Faye. Has Mark lied one too many times? Will Natasha unravel Mark's web of deceit?

Aaron (Danny Miller) is keen to prove he's not gay so invites Holly (Sophie Powles) round and lies that Paddy (Dominic Brunt) is going out. When Paddy walks in and catches them kissing on the sofa, Aaron acts surprised. Will Holly catch on to the fact that Aaron is using her?

Nikhil (Rik Makarem) is unimpressed when he catches Charity (Emma Atkins) messing around in the factory.

Faye (Kim Thomson) and Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) fail to tell their families they're leaving and reach the heart breaking decision to end their relationship. As they steal one final moment, they're unaware Maisie (Alice Coulthard) and Ryan (James Sutton) are upstairs. Meanwhile, Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) has uncovered the depth of Mark's deceit and as he and Faye tearfully hold each other, they’re horror-struck when a raging Natasha storms in. Will Ryan and Maisie find out they’re related before it’s too late? How will Natasha react to Mark’s betrayal? Will Faye and Mark stay together if their affair is discovered?

Upon hearing Faye (Kim Thomson) might be leaving the factory, Charity (Emma Atkins) jumps at the chance of replacing her and tries to convince Nikhil (Rik Makarem) she’s worthy of the job. Will Nikhil take a chance on Charity?

John (James Thornton) accuses Adam (Adam Thomas) of causing trouble between Aaron (Danny Miller) and Holly (Sophie Powles) and warns him to back off. Begrudgingly Adam apologises but will he keep his word?

As Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) confronts Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) and Faye (Kim Thomson) over their affair, the commotion downstairs interupts Maisie (Alice Coulthard) and Ryan (James Sutton) who are locked in a passionate embrace. At the pair confront their parents they're faced with an agonising revelation. How will Ryan and Maisie react to the truth? What will Mark do now his deceit has been unveiled?

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is going all out to make Angelica's christening memorable but agrees to tone it down when Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) offers to help pay and Jimmy (Nick Miles) insists it's his way or no way when it comes to godparents. Will Nicola agree to Jimmy's request?

Cain (Jeff Hordley) is livid as he watches Charity (Emma Atkins) return to her old ways when she tries to convince Nikhil (Rik Makarem) to give her a better job.

As the secrets and lies of Mark’s (Maxwell Caulfield) past are exposed, those closest to him reel in horror and disgust at the colossal damage he has caused.

Jimmy (Nick Miles) is grateful to Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) for her financial help with the christening and pleads with Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) not to go crazy on spending.

Carl (Tom Lister) is honoured when Jimmy asks him to be Angelica's godfather.

In the wake of yesterday’s sordid revelations the villagers gossip about Mark’s disappearance.

Ashley (John Middleton) is put out when Doug (Duncan Preston) tells him Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) has requested he postpone his weekend visit.

Nikhil (Rik Makarem) makes it clear Charity (Emma Atkins) didn’t impress him at their business lunch.

Why didn't Mark say something sooner before Maisie and Ryan decided to get together? I feel kind of sorry for them as they didn't know!

And finally to Emmerdale, where Natasha walks in on Faye and Mark just as they're about to end their relationship.

However, it's too little too late for the loved-up pair, as Natasha's finally exposed Mark for the lying love rat he is.

From here, it's downhill all the way - how will his children react when they discover the truth? And more importantly, will Ryan and Maisie discover their true relationship before it's too late?

Mark's in turmoil as he agonises over telling his family that he's leaving with Faye. Unable to go through with it, he lies to Natasha that he has a meeting in town and with that, he heads out to see Faye. Natasha's sure Mark's lying and her suspicions are confirmed when she discovers that he doesn't have a meeting at all.

Spotting his car outside the café, she calls him on his mobile and she's furious when he continues to lie about his whereabouts, maintaining that he's in town. Natasha watches Faye's cottage and when she sees Mark walk out, she's motionless. Natasha's eyes glisten with hurt and betrayal as her worst fears become a reality. Will Natasha play Mark at his own game or confront him about his affair?

Aaron's still troubled over Adam telling everyone he's gay and when he realises that he's been quite cool with Holly, he makes sure that Adam's listening when he invites her round to the house as Paddy's going out.

Later, when Paddy walks in on him and Holly getting intimate on the sofa, Aaron feigns surprise. Will Holly catch on to the fact that Aaron is using her?

Charity's finding factory work tedious and is put out when Chas asserts her authority as supervisor.

Later, Nikhil's unimpressed when he discovers Charity messing around. Nikhil realises that he's met his match when she doesn't let him to belittle her - she gives as good as she gets.

Also, Maisie and Ryan relish the danger of sneaking around.

Natasha confronts Mark and Faye

After many failed attempts to tell their families that they're leaving, Faye and Mark reluctantly accept that they have no future together. However, as they reach their heartbreaking decision to separate, Natasha begins to unravel their secret affair and is furious to discover some unexplained withdrawals from her bank account.

Meanwhile, Ryan's invited Maisie to the house and as Mark and Faye enjoy one final clandestine meeting, they're completely unaware that Ryan and Maisie are upstairs in a passionate clinch, too.

Back at Home Farm, Natasha's devastated by her discovery and leaves Nathan curious when he finds her crying. At Tenant's, Mark and Faye tearfully hold each other as they contemplate the end of their relationship but they're struck with horror when a raging Natasha storms in.

Will Ryan and Maisie discover that they're related before it's too late? How will Natasha cope with Mark's betrayal? And will Faye and Mark stay together now they have been discovered?

Meanwhile, Charity seethes as Carl mocks her for working on the production line. Hearing that Faye's leaving, Charity jumps at the chance of replacing her and tries to convince Nikhil that she's worthy of the job. Intrigued, he agrees to talk about it at lunch.

Elsewhere, Adam's defeated when John accuses him of causing trouble. Although he isn't convinced that Aaron's straight, he begrudgingly apologises to Holly and agrees to leave her and Aaron alone.

Mark's web of lies finally unfurls

With his relationship with Faye having been rumbled, Mark panics and ultimately digs himself a deeper hole when he grovels to Natasha that it's the first time he's kissed Faye. As Natasha unleashes her anger on a guilt-stricken Mark and an angry Faye, Maisie and Ryan are upstairs in a passionate embrace. When they overhear raised voices downstairs, Maisie realises that it's her mum and dad and they quickly scramble for their clothes.

Downstairs, tempers fray and just as Natasha slaps Faye across the face, Maisie and Ryan appear on the stairs. Everyone's aghast when they admit that they're seeing each other and Natasha frantically shakes Maisie, demanding to know if they've slept together. Feeling utterly confused, Maisie and Ryan confirm they haven't but are stunned when Natasha drops the bombshell that they're brother and sister.

Unable to digest the news, they refuse to believe that they're related but as the reality sinks in, Maisie's physically sickened and starts throwing up in the sink. Ryan's anger grows as he declares that he detests Mark for what he's done and vows to hate him for the rest of his life.

Faye attempts to console Ryan, while Natasha tends to a hysterical Maisie, leaving a lonely and stunned Mark ashamed at the devastation he's caused and feeling utterly alone.

Jimmy's exasperated as Nicola goes all out for the christening with no expense spared. Realising that she's being extremely extravagant, she agrees to tone it down and is grateful when Scarlett offers to help them pay for the big day.

Later, Nicola relents when Jimmy insists he wants Carl to be Angelica's godfather or the whole thing is off.

Elsewhere, Charity turns on the charm with Nikhil in an attempt to coax him into giving her a better job. However, when Cain witnesses her flirting, he's furious and frogmarches her outside.

Outside, Charity snaps at him for making a scene but as they argue, their anger turns to passion.

Mark's murdered when the truth is revealed

After all he is still legally married to Faye. His wedding to Natasha is a bigamous one. So will she be left pennielss and Faye become the new lady ofd the manor

What if he has made a will though, leaving all to Natasha? They can prove he is Daniel Lamb/Mark Wylde, will the different name used have any legal implications?
