I'm guessing Bradley comes back to visit his mum in hospital after the accident and then goes to see Stacey and they go away? As Jean is visiting Stacey next week or week after with Bradley, but Stacey is not sure about coming home so maybe they go on holiday?

Stacey collapses

Airs on Monday, December 21 2009 at 02:21 GMT on BBC One

Out in the Square, Janine counts down to the grand switch on of the Christmas tree lights, while Jane mentions to a distracted Christian that she's concerned about Ian having sold the Mitchells' loan to Archie. In The Vic, meanwhile, Peggy's outraged at the family's situation and proclaims that they should never have trusted Ian in the first place. Roxy, however, immediately jumps to Archie's defence and blames Peggy for signing the divorce papers - she now has no claim on any of Archie's estate. In an attempt to calm the situation, Ronnie reminds everyone that Archie owns The Vic on paper - and without a possession order, his ownership is theoretical. The Mitchell sisters argue over potential ways in which to deal with their father and when Roxy suggests mediation, Ronnie reminds Roxy that they can't trust him in the slightest.

Later, Archie turns up at The Vic and sits around a table with his daughters in an attempt to mediate. They all agree that they'll at least attempt to maintain the peace over Christmas but when Janine arrives, Ronnie makes her feelings explicitly clear - Janine's no part of the Mitchell family. Furious by Ronnie's harsh words, Archie expresses his disappointment, before storming out of the pub. With Archie gone, Janine cruelly reveals to Ronnie and Roxy that Billy knew about their plan to seize The Vic. With that, Ronnie lunges at Janine and throws her out, while Roxy agrees with her sister - it's all-out war.

Meanwhile, Ian tells Ben that selling the Mitchells' loan to Archie was nothing personal. Ben, however, suggests that Ian buy it back and Jane agrees. Distraught over Ian's actions, Jane confides in Christian about her husband's stupidity. During their conversation, Christian unwitting reveals that he's met someone and has been having a relationship with them for a number of months. Later in the Square, Jane spots Christian staring up at Syed's bedroom window and she suddenly realises that Syed is the man that her brother's in love with.

Elsewhere, Mo struggles dealing with the kids at the nativity rehearsals; Pat receives a mystery call and informs the person on the other end that although she'll be needed in Walford over Christmas, she'll arrange a flight; Mo threatens to tell Father Christmas about their naughty ways unless they behave; a loved-up Bradley and Stacey return from their holiday and discuss their future together; there's a power cut at the community centre and Santa appears in the doorway, while Mo asks him to return on Christmas Eve - after the nativity; and Stacey suddenly collapses.

Archie has a run-in with Ronnie

Airs on Tuesday, December 22 2009 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

The Mitchells are on the cusp of losing their livelihood to Archie and Phil holds Ian responsible. Banging on his door, Phil lambastes Ian for propelling the Mitchells into financial ruin. Guilt-ridden, Ian pays Archie a visit and makes an offer to buy back the loan but Archie suggests that he go away and think about it. Ian later finds Archie and reiterates his offer to buy back the Mitchells' loan but Janine is firm - it's not for sale. Meanwhile, Ronnie suggests to the rest of the family that they should open up at 5pm as it's one of the busiest times of the year, but Phil points out that they don't have any beer to sell. Ronnie, however, has a solution. Ronnie's mood is soon lifted and she suggests to Peggy that they face the locals head on, rather than cower away upstairs.

When Pat spurs Peggy on to fight Archie for The Vic, Peggy's inspired to hold a Christmas Eve party. Later, Ronnie returns from shopping to find that Peggy's dressed and raring to go for the festive celebrations. It's a slow start but The Vic soon fills up and Manda leads the locals in a singalong on the piano. Ricky enters, though, and reveals that Peggy might want to head outside to see what's going on. Outside, the Mitchells are stunned to see Peggy's licensee plaque being taken down and replaced with Archie's. Back inside, Archie and Janine are at the bar and take pleasure in showing the rest of the family the possession order, which proves that they're trespassing on his property.

Ronnie's seething by her father's actions and exclaims that they won't go down quietly, before demanding both Archie and Janine leave. As Ronnie moves towards Archie, he pushes her against the bar. At that moment, Roxy reveals that Ronnie's pregnant. With Archie gone for the night, Ronnie heads upstairs for an early night but as she does, she doubles over in agony. Will her baby survive?

Elsewhere, Bradley searches for a job; Peggy continues selling raffle tickets; Christian reveals all about his affair with Syed; Pat tries to explain her earlier news to Ricky and Pat; Christian tells Jane that Syed ended their affair a couple of weeks ago; Whitney and Bianca invite Ryan to the Jacksons' for Christmas; Stacey catches up with Roxy in the café and the pair reminisce about Sean; Jane tells Christian that she can't support him when he reveals that he's bought tickets to Barcelona for himself and Syed; and Bianca's devastated when she returns home to find that Pat's packed her bags as she's going to New Zealand for a couple of weeks.

The Mitchells are forced out of The Vic

Airs on Thursday, December 24 2009 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Roxy and Peggy are at the hospital waiting for news on Ronnie, while a restless Archie's pacing up and down his living room holding out for visitors. Archie then reassures Janine that as soon as the Mitchells read the loan agreement, they'll be able to fully take control of The Vic. Later, Peggy pays Archie a visit and slaps him around the face, before threatening trouble if he ever goes near Ronnie or Roxy ever again. A conniving Janine then walks in dressed in skimpy negligee and asks Archie to return to bed. With that, Peggy leaves the house in disgust. On her return to The Vic, Peggy informs Phil and Ben about Ronnie's condition, prompting Phil to pour himself a drink. Peggy can only watch on as her family falls apart at the seams. Peggy's further outraged when Billy turns up and admits that he knew about Archie's plan all along.

Later, Peggy's about to announce the winning raffle ticket but Mo complains that she's not had a chance to buy one.
Stacey hands Mo one of Bradley's tickets and when the number is drawn, Mo's delighted that she's the lucky winner. Bradley's disgruntled that the ticket was originally his, while Mo claims that her luck was down to the Queen Vic bust as she touched it moments before the draw. With that, everyone touches the bust in the hope that it will bring them luck. Peggy wishes everyone a happy Christmas, prompting Minty to raise a toast to Peggy. Roxy's fuming when Janine and Archie enter, but Peggy insists that she invited them as family's more important than any property.

Archie and Janine are behind the bar as the Mitchells file down the stairs one by one with their belongings. As Phil threatens Archie, Peggy returns upstairs to collect the remainder of her possessions. Outside, Mo drives away in Max's car that she won on the raffle and as she does, the nativity charity takings spill onto the road. Leading her family from The Vic, Peggy hands Charlie her licensee plaque and asks him to dispose of it. Fighting back the tears, Peggy walks away from The Vic with the rest of the family in tow.

Elsewhere, Ricky's annoyed when Bianca tells him that Whitney's taking Pat's bed while she's away; Max suggests that Abi call Tanya to let her know that she's missed; Christian asks Syed to meet him at 6pm as he has two one-way tickets to Barcelona; Janine invites the Jacksons to The Vic for Christmas but Bianca declines; Libby agrees to use baby George as Jesus for the nativity; the adults replace the kids in the nativity and it's an awkward moment when Heather and Darren are cast as Mary and Joseph; Christian says goodbye to Jane as he heads for the taxi; Heather asks Shirley to be George's godmother but she declines; and Ricky tells Bianca that he's going to start looking for a place of his own.

Later, Christian's eyes light up when Syed appears to be joining him on his trip but Amira turns up, too; and Bianca's taken aback when she reads Tiffany's letter to Santa, her last wish being that she wants her mummy and daddy to get married.

One Walford resident murders Archie

Airs on Friday, December 25 2009 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

The Mitchells wake on Christmas Day in various houses across Walford. Peggy leaves Dot and Jim's home and heads across to see Phil, who stayed with Shirley. Peggy's disgusted when she sees a drunken Shirley and Phil sharing a kiss. With that, Peggy shouts that Phil should have finished off Archie when he had the chance. Roxy and Amy, meanwhile, wake at Jack's house and Archie soon turns up with a sack of presents for his granddaughter. Jack's unhappy with Archie's presence and goes to visit Ronnie in hospital. Archie then turns up to see Ronnie, but she's unable to look her father in the eye. Jack returns to Ronnie's hospital room and throws Archie out. With Archie gone, Jack tries to calm Ronnie down as she paces the ward in a state, but she declares that she wants her father dead. After fetching a doctor, Jack panics when he discovers that Ronnie's disappeared.

Later, Janine and Archie are upstairs in The Vic celebrating their dream come true. Archie reveals that he's paid Tracey extra to open up earlier. Instead, she unexpectedly resigns. As Janine recounts her childhood in The Vic, Archie assures her that he'll sort out Christmas dinner. Janine's later intrigued when Archie hands her an envelope - the first clue in a treasure hunt. Janine searches for the clues and she eventually finds the final one under the Queen Vic bust. Janine's not impressed, though, when she opens the last envelope - it's not what she'd expected in the slightest. With that, Archie hands Janine her suitcase, admits that he's been using her and throws her out of his pub.

Peggy's enraged by what Archie's done to her and her family, while Ronnie walks back to Walford with intent. A broken Janine, meanwhile, stares up at The Vic with a murderous look in her eyes…

Meanwhile, over at Pat's house, the kids are desperate to open their presents and Bianca eventually agrees that they can. Janine turns up asking what time they'll all be over at The Vic for lunch, though Ricky insists that he's staying where he is for the day. Furious by her brother's betrayal, Janine says that she'll never forgive him. As Janine walks away from the house, she bumps into Ryan who reveals that he's quit his job at the pub. The Jacksons' Christmas dinner descends into a food fight and among the chaos, Bianca insists that Ricky doesn't have to move out as she loves him. Before Ricky knows what's happening, Bianca's proposed that they tie the knot! Their elation, however, is short-lived when they're suddenly interrupted…

Elsewhere, Bradley and Stacey are concerned for Stacey's welfare; Bradley, Stacey, Mo, Jean, Charlie, Jim and Dot turn out in force to spend Christmas Day with Abi and Max; after dinner, Mo encourages the family to go to The Vic, but nobody seems interested and Stacey heads off home; and Max takes Abi's phone and secretly makes a call to Tanya.

Furious by Archie's treatment of Ronnie, Jack pays him a visit at The Vic and pushes him up against the bar. Threatening Archie, an enraged Jack warns him never to go anywhere near Ronnie ever again, before leaving the pub. Afterwards, Archie finds Ronnie behind the bar staring at him. Archie's nonchalant and unapologetic about his actions towards Ronnie, while she calmly admits that she'd be happier if he were dead. After making a cruel remark about Danielle, Archie throws his daughter out of The Vic. After Ronnie's encounter with her father, Jack and Roxy attempt to placate her rage. As Jack leaves the flat, Roxy goes to check on Amy but when she returns to the room, Roxy's perturbed that her sister's disappeared.

After being thrown out of The Vic, an upset Janine heads over to Pat's house, much to Ricky and Bianca's surprise. As the Jacksons head out to the carol concert, Ryan stays to talk with Janine. He walks away, though, when he listens to her scheme to exact revenge on Archie. Later at the Car Lot, Janine angrily grabs a knife and walks out into the Square. Outside, Bianca's concerned that she's blown her chances with Ricky after proposing. Will he give her the answer that she's waiting for?

Meanwhile, at Shirley's flat, an inebriated Phil attempts to dress himself. As he staggers towards The Vic, though, he bumps into someone that he's not happy to see. Afterwards, he goes to the Arches and collects a crowbar, before continuing his journey to the pub…

At The Vic, Peggy gives Archie an ultimatum - either leave The Vic tonight or he'll face the consequences. Unfazed by his wife's threats, Archie hands back the divorce papers in the hope of spending one more night with her. Peggy's disgusted by his suggestion and quickly leaves, but watches The Vic from the shadows outside…

Later, Archie's knocked to the ground by a mystery assailant and when he hears a noise, he looks up to see who's around him. As he does, though, his attacker delivers a fatal blow to his head.

The Square comes to terms with Archie's murder

Airs on Saturday, December 26 2009 at 19:00 GMT on BBC One

Concerned for her sister, Roxy rushes across the Square toward The Vic and when she walks inside, she's stunned by what she sees - Ronnie cradling their dying father on the floor. Fading fast, Archie mutters 'I'm sorry' to Ronnie, before passing away in her arms. Devastated by what she's just witnessed, Roxy backs out of The Vic and in sheer hysteria, screams at the carol singers that she thinks her dad is dead. Shortly afterwards, Jack walks into the pub with Roxy and he checks to see if Archie still has a pulse, but he's unable to feel any life. Ronnie claims that she found him like this when she walked into The Vic but didn't call for an ambulance because Archie was trying to tell her something. With that, Jack puts in a call to the emergency services.

PCs Adams and Young arrive at the scene and Ronnie admits that she was the one who found the body. On further questioning, Ronnie begins to feel the pressure but she maintains that she never killed her father - but she did return to see him because she was upset following their earlier argument. As the questions continue, Ronnie becomes further
agitated. Meanwhile, over at the Slaters' - where the Jacksons are also visiting - Jack announces that Archie is dead. At the Car Lot, Ryan finds Janine and informs her that Archie's dead, and she appears visibly stunned by the news. At that moment, Ryan asks Janine whether she killed Archie but Janine's adamant - she didn't because she had genuine feelings for him.

Meanwhile, Peggy returns to Dot's house and pulls her and Archie's divorce papers from under her coat.

With The Vic now a crime scene, PCs Adams and Young emerge with Ronnie handcuffed - she's been arrested on suspicion of murdering Archie. The locals watch on as Ronnie's driven away in a police car for further questioning.

The police continue their investigation

Airs on Monday, December 28 2009 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

At the police station, Ronnie's wearing a forensics suit while having her photos and fingerprints taken. Shortly afterwards, during an interview with the police, Ronnie doesn't deny that she and her father have never seen eye-to-eye. Back on the Square, Peggy and Roxy are struggling to come to terms with the latest turn of events. Dr Al arrives at Dot's to see them both and after sharing a tender moment with Roxy, Al tries to prescribe Peggy some medication, but she refuses. Phil, meanwhile, throws her an unsympathetic look.

The police soon arrive at Dot's to question everyone about Archie's murder. Roxy insists that Ronnie loved their father, before a drunken Phil suggests that they should be talking to Janine instead. When the police ask after Peggy, Phil and Roxy seem protective, but Peggy soon appears to speak to them. Afterwards, the police inform Jack and Roxy that Ronnie's been released, while Billy knocks to let Peggy know that Archie's body is being removed from The Vic.

Having finally been released from police custody, Ronnie arrives on the Square and rushes towards Roxy. The pair share a hug and break down in tears as Archie's body is wheeled out of the pub. Later, Janine's terrified when the police knock on her door but Ryan urges her to tell the truth. The police question a visibly upset Janine and as Ryan watches on, he begins to wonder whether Janine's grief is genuine or whether she's putting on a show…

Elsewhere, Bianca leads Ricky upstairs after a chat about their relationship; Syed and Amira discuss the wedding but Amira realises that her husband-to-be is missing Christian; Todd tries to convince Whitney to go out with him; and Lucy tells Syed that Christian's in Barcelona and has no intention of returning.

Amira's father Qadim arrives in Walford

Airs on Tuesday, December 29 2009 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

While Zainab's worried about the impending Mehndi, Syed's at the Masala Queen unit talking to a furious Lucy about his relationship with Christian. Jane wanders in and informs Lucy that although the situation is far from perfect, they need to keep it quiet in order to maintain peace with the Masoods. Later, Amira informs Syed that her father's lawyer has found a loophole in the law, meaning that he's to be released in time for their wedding. Syed's pleased that Qadim can attend the ceremony, but Amira confesses that he didn't give the wedding his blessing and will probably want his money back.

Later, the Masood house is packed with guests in striking outfits. Bushra turns up with her daughters and cousin Afia. Soon after, a procession forms and everyone follows the drummers to the club house. Masood greets the guests and when Amira arrives, Tamwar takes her arm and walks past all the guests to the stage. Jane approaches to feed Amira and Syed metai and before she does, Amira asks Jane where Christian is and she reveals that he's in Barcelona.

Masood introduces the dancers to their friends and family and it's not long before Syed joins in. Amira's immensely proud of her future husband's moves on the dancefloor. Afterwards, Syed suggests a dance-off between the men and women and despite laughing at Tamwar's footwork, Zulekha writes her mobile number on his hand. With the congregation in high spirits, Syed and Amira are stunned when the music cuts and Qadim appears…

Elsewhere, DCI Marsden speaks to a group of journalists outside The Vic, appealing for information about Archie's murder; Libby and Darren plan a holiday together; and Whitney's frustrated when Ricky invites Todd to his and Bianca's engagement party.

Christian urges Syed to come clean

Airs on Thursday, December 31 2009 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Following Qadim's surprise appearance at the Mehndi the previous day, Syed's determined to face him alone and prove that he's a worthy husband for his daughter. With Zainab and Masood listening on the stairs, Qadim expresses his thoughts that Syed's an inappropriate match for Amira and when Syed confesses that he and Amira took the money from his safety deposit box, Qadim's worst fears are confirmed. At that moment, Amira barges in and claims that it was her idea to take the cash, not Syed's. Wanting to put the situation right, Syed offers to pay the money back. Amira and Syed, however, are shocked when Qadim agrees and asks for it to be returned by the following day.

Tamwar has a date with Zulekha and claims that he's going to Ricky and Bianca's engagement party. Zainab's not happy about the idea but after some convincing by Masood, they agree he can go, so long as Syed goes as well. Later, Masood makes a call, before leaving the house 'for mosque'. Arriving at Fargo's, Masood meets his elder brother Inzamam and reveals that he needs to borrow some money for the wedding. Inzamam, however, is puzzled - what wedding?

Meanwhile, Christian returns to Walford and goes to Ricky and Bianca's engagement party to spy on Syed. Amira hurries through the Square in the hope of seeing in the New Year with Syed but as Syed turns to leave the kitchen, Christian's blocking his path. As midnight strikes, Christian and Syed share a kiss, before Christian pleads with Syed to be true to himself and come clean with Amira. With that, Amira walks in and Christian looks on as the 'happy couple' embrace. Seeing Christian's turmoil, Lucy drags Christian away. Jane joins them as everyone sings 'Auld Lang Syne' outside and despite her insistence that Christian leave Syed alone, Christian threatens that there will be no wedding tomorrow…

Elsewhere, Syed thinks that his little brother has been stood up on his date; Tamwar's shocked when Afia turns up instead of Zulekha; Ricky proposes to Bianca at the stroke of midnight; and Todd shares a kiss with Whitney as Big Ben's bongs ring out.

Christian stuns Zainab to the core

Airs on Friday, January 1 2010 at 19:00 GMT on BBC One

The final preparations for Syed and Amira's wedding are well under way and as Syed stares out of the window in his wedding attire, he spots Christian. A flustered Zainab walks into the room and exclaims that the horse has arrived early but she's taken aback when she sees her son in his outfit. While Syed hands his mother a gold necklace, an unusually tetchy Masood wanders in. Curious as to her husband's foul mood, Zainab follows him and he demands to know why Inzamam wasn't invited to the wedding. Zainab lies that his family were unable to attend, but she's backed into a corner when Masood admits he met with Inzamam yesterday to talk about money. At that moment, Bushra arrives and the pair postpone their argument. Over at the Beales', meanwhile, Christian is dressed for the wedding and tells Jane that he's prepared to hurt Syed because of his cowardly actions.

Inzamam turns up at the Masoods' with wife Fatima, daughter Jamila and son Ali. Zainab's surprised to see them there and Masood urges her to welcome them as well as offer an apology. Unbeknown to Masood and Zainab, Inzamam
has overheard their exchange. With the two families separated in the living room, Syed reads a text message and leaves, before Zainab wanders out, too. Furious at his wife's behaviour, Masood confronts Zainab over her indifference as he wants to keep the peace for financial reasons. Pushed to the edge, Zainab reluctantly confesses that Inzamam once made a pass at her. Across the Square, Qadim waits for Amira's arrival with the money but when he sees her dressed for the wedding, he asks if he could walk her into the ceremony.

Handing the cash back to Inzamam, Masood insists that his brother is no longer welcome at the house. Inzamam leaves with his family and on the Square, he asks Masood how he's going to pay for the wedding. At that moment, Qadim approaches and states that he's paying for it all. Syed, meanwhile, meets Christian in the café, where Syed insists that he has to go through with the ceremony. Zainab sees an emotional Christian leave the café and asks Syed what's wrong with him, before jumping to the conclusion that Christian propositioned her son. As Zainab heads to the Beales' to confront Christian, Syed's forced to stop her.

Later, Syed's on the horse parading around the Square, before the procession to the club house begins behind the drummers. The locals look on and as the procession reaches Bridge Street, Masood thanks the crowd for their support. Syed stares at Christian from afar, which doesn't go unnoticed by Zainab. With everyone else en route to the ceremony, Zainab stays behind to confront Christian over harassing Syed. Christian tries to remain calm but when Zainab calls him sick, Christian stuns Zainab to the core when he reveals that he and Syed have been seeing each other.

Elsewhere, Libby's seemingly edgy with Darren about something.

Zainab confronts Syed over Christian's claims

Airs on Friday, January 1 2010 at 19:55 GMT on BBC One

Zainab's in utter shock following Christian's bombshell revelation. Christian explains that he and Syed have been seeing each other behind everyone's backs for months and as he recounts how their relationship began, Christian states that Syed is gay. With that, Zainab slaps him. At the wedding venue, meanwhile, everyone's waiting for Zainab. When Amira kisses Tamar on the cheel, Afia looks on in jealousy. Still on the horse, Syed receives a call from Christian who admits that he's told Zainab everything. Syed's horrified by Christian's actions and as Syed sees his mother arrive, Christian sets off for the ceremony.

Inside, Zainab confronts Syed about Christian's claims and demands to know if he's lying. As Zainab continues to insult Christian, Syed snaps and furiously shouts at her. As Syed's stare meets his mothers, Syed admits that he's gay
and that he's in love with Christian. Syed suggests that they delay the wedding, but Zainab's not convinced that it's the right thing to do. She goes on to state that Syed should have tried harder with Amira. Devastated by his mother's attitude towards him, Syed pleads with Zainab to understand and help his predicament. Zainab, however, can barely look her son in the eyes.

Later, in the ceremony hall, Syed sits with imam Ali as Qadim enters with Amira. Christian then enters the reception hall and a waiter ushers him upstairs to where the wedding's being held…

So just about everyone's in the frame for Archie's murder.

I don't think Christian will stop the wedding as Syed and Amira are pictured looking happy together (and wearing wedding rings) at Ricky and Bianca's wedding in February.

Here's an exclusive picture from Tuesday's episode of the Walford soap, in which Shirley (Linda Henry) makes a shocking discovery in Phil's (Steve McFadden) holdall - a bloodied shirt from Christmas Day.

Shirley reluctantly agrees to serve as Phil's alibi to the police, on the condition that he stops drinking, while Heather's (Cheryl Fergison) furious that her best mate is lying for him.

Later, as Shirley is preparing baby George's milk, she accidentally spills the bottle all over Phil's bag and when she empties it to dry off the contents, she's stunned to find a carrier bag with Phil's blood-stained shirt inside...

How will Shirley deal with the revelation? How will Phil react when confronted with the evidence?

Is that really Phil's shirt? I can't remember him wearing a shirt like that. Doesn't he usually wear plain, dark shirts to go with his black jeans?
